what is the code for koth49 i extract the image stock file and it is only one file tar file
I assume you are using Linux (or OSX maybe). You can simply uncompress the file with tar xvzf imagefile.tgz
On Win you can easily open it with WinRar.

Problems flashing Exodus on HTC One M7 now phone won't boot

Hi all
Please help me fix my daughter's phone. I was trying to install Exodus using the latest image
I have got as far as flashing exodus-5.1-20151211-NIGHTLY-m7.zip but it fails with the following error.
"Could not detect filesystem for /dev/block/plat
mount; failed to mount /dev/block/platform/msm_
unmount of /system failed; no such volume"
The state of the phone is
I can boot into fastboot and recovery (TWRP)
I can communicate with the phone with bot fastboot and adb
I can push files to the sdcard using adb push
Phone won't boot at all
When I exit TWRP I see a warning saying no OS installed and another saying no root.
Please advise what to do. I'm not new to flashing ROMs but I'm by far an expert to treat me gently please
Thanks
Are you able to return to stock?

OK, it's sorted now. I flashed a newer version of TWRP which seemed to recreate the partitions when it first ran. I was then able to flash the ROM and the phone it working fine now.
Thanks everyone.

Data and System not mountable

[solved]
Hello,
tried to install Nougat Revolution. It didn´t work correctly.
At the moment TWRP Revolution for nogut is installed. But I´m not abled to mount system or data.
Tried to flash system via fastboot. Everytime I got an error (sparse flash write failure).
At the moment I´m only able to run TWRP but not able to install any firmware because I have no acces to DATA or System. Tried to wipe boath partition. Its not possible.
Any Ideas?
That's a known mistake to be fixed later. For now, flash FW via ADB sideload, it works in spite of the error warnings (own experience).

There are many guides on how to install the stock firmware around. I, unfortunately cannot help you, why don't you try asking directly in the Revolution Recovery thread instead of creating a new insufficiently-named thread? The Revolution dev will be more likely to notice your question and help you.

have you tried the 3 button method?
Thank you for your help.
The only way two safe the phone was to install MM with the 3 Buttons and the patched oeminfo. The OEMinfo only works with B150. With other versions its not possible.
After Reinstall all now works fine! Thank you for your help.

What do you mean with onlocking system? You mean onlocking bootloader?
Started your phone after flashing? If yes: How is working your p9 with this firmware?
Mine has no problems. Everything is working very well.
Now i have flashed TWRP for N and rooted with SuperSu.

I stuck in bootlogo when booting into custom rom

I tried to unlock my bootloader with the Asus official unlock tool. But failed to unlock then I used this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-2-laser/general/guide-unlock-bootloader-asus-unlock-app-t3405850 to unlock my bootloader and successfully unlocked my bootloader. Then I installed twrp using fastboot. I saw an error in my twrp which is -failed to mount/factory invalid argument. After all of these I installed custom rom and gapps successfully (I wiped cache after installation) then I reboot my device and my device was stuck in boot logo. I waited more than 30mins but nothing happened. No matter which rom I tried but had to face the same problem every time.
Is the twrp errors the main problem of my bootloop?
If it then how to fix it ?
Please help me I posted here with lots of hope. I hope I'll find a
good suggestion which might help me out. I don't want to stay in marshmallow anymore please help me ??.
Please forgive me for my English.

I got the same problem but error was in /asdf partition. So after wiping that my problem got solved.
You also try wiping everything except internal storage and SD card. Then install rom and gapps and check. :good:
