New EUI 5.19.20S CN Stock - LeEco Le Max 2 Guides, News, & Discussion

http://bbs.le.com/zt/eui/le_max2.html
Hi folks! There's a new update of the Chinese stock EUI on the official site. It should have same languages of the 21s dev. but it should be a stable ROM.
I'll wait for some zip-flashable ROM based on it

Did you try it?

Change log please

mine is stock and it auto updated to 20s last night. seems like it added some apps like homeTime appp which according to a quick google search is a video phone app for calling video phones. And a chinese app which can be uninstalled.

Did you try the App accelerator (found in Phone Manager)?

battery drain is huge on this one

Hello,
I have a few questions about this stock rom.
1. Is it multilanguage?(Does it have the dutch language?)
2. Is it the latest official because I saw a lot of forums with 21s.
3. I currently have a leeco le max 2 with a multilanguage stock rom from the store. Can I update it with this one right away?

it has Netherlands and Dansk for options. Not sure if one is actually Dutch.
It is the official chinese Rom. The 21s floating around is a beta version and I suspect that this official rom is based on it.
I would actually recomend installing the official rom and do a factory reset aftwards to remove every trace of the custom rom to prevent any malware that might exist in the custom rom.
Be aware that the official chinese rom does not come with Google play store. You will have to install it yourself.

[Q] Flashing a Google play edition ROM to the SM-G900F

I'm trying to convert my SM-900F to the Google play vanilla android version, I've seen some old tutorials for loading an old Kit-Kat ROM onto the device, but I'm currently on Lollipop, so...
1. Would loading a 4.4 version ROM even work?
2. Would I then be able to OTA update to Lollipop?
3. Is there any other way to get a "clean" Google ROM?
(Yes, I know I can just install CM, but I do prefer stock google to CM)

0. Try to post in the correct section next time, there is a Q&A subforum for the s5
1. Yes there is, get a stock rom from sammobile and flash it via odin. Make sure to wipe data first.
2. Yup, provided you don't make any modifications such as root or flash a custom recovery/rom/kernel.
3. Please specify what you mean by clean google rom.. do you mean a rom with only google apps?

Thanks Akalsemann,
I'm new here so I wasn't sure where this thread should go
As for a "clean Google ROM", I meant a "Google play edition" ROM, i.e. no touchwiz or Samsung bloat. Googling around a bit more, it seems these never really existed for the S5, only the S4
(I'd link to an arstechnica article titled "Don’t cry for the Google Play edition program; it was already dead" but can't since I'm a new user)
I guess I'll install CM and be done with it, as the phone is painfully sluggish out of the box, often taking SECONDS to display the app-switcher screen.

Redmi Note 2 already rooted

Hello everyone, this is my first thread
Today I receive my Redmi Note 2 , after I power up the device to check wether it is using a not official MIUI rom or not...well I'm kinda surprised that teh rom is MIUI 7 (already???) but still beta ver, I hope this ROM is stabil, and it is already rooted (via kingroot), damn...
Please give me your opinion, thank you
You have two Roms on miui 7.
Developer (beta) Roms and the Stable Roms.
Dev Roms are weekly updated and have root.
Stable is like other do, when they think that a developer rom is OK... They move it for stable.
Go to xiaomi.eu website. There you have the Roms translated to many languages, without Chinese apps.
They cook the Chinese rom to us. And many stores install there rom before send to users. Probably, your is already from there.
Cheers.

As far as i know , miui.eu didn't use kingroot.
Make sure you have the real rmn2 device(not some fake one), and you have nothing to worry.
Simply change your rom to miui.eu's rom then you will be fine.
Their rom is clean, multilang, and with gapps. They also cut the Chinese bloatware off.
Their rom is based on the Chinese weekly update beta rom.
When I check via antutu n geekbench, it is the real redmi note2

This don't work. You have to use TWRP recovery.
Or maybe install the official global rom: http://en.miui.com/download-274.html
It has got OTA updateds
~ Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime ~

I have stock recovery and I always update this way.
So finally I download the global rom, and reflashed it this morning hahaha, install the twrp first it is
Mine came with MIUI 7.0. Stable 7.00.66.00 whats the best ROM i can flash on it?
also it gives an error if i try to install it via the updated app '' install.zip failed update.zip signature verification failed'' if i try to install xiaomi.eu_multi_hermes_5.11.26_v7-5.0.zip
Any idea's??
nvm, you have to do it via TWRP because it doesnt work via the updater app anymore. Works like a charm now.
I'm using same rom (7.0.6.0), I think it is good enough, rom is very personally experienced, so you should choose what's best suitable for you
could u easily flash a new rom via TWRP aswell now (custom roms) this rom i use now is a weekly rom i guess it gets updated weekly, but i just installed TWRP 2.8.7. it works really well for installing.

Removal of Chineese Adds

My Grandad's phone is a Chinese version of the Oneplus X E1001. My Grandad doesn't like the Chineese adds popping up on oxygenOS.. I have just updated it to the latest version today and removed all the apps that he doesn't use.
Is it possible to flash a ROM that doesn't involve oxyenOS ? Maybe a pure version of Android 5.1.1 would be good.
CM12 or CM13 would be the closest to stock android. Check it.
If you want message me your Skype, Telegram, etc. I can show you the best roms for your need and to walk you throw the process of flashing and unlocking bootloader.

I think if you flash stock ROM, it should remove the chinese ads. Download it from oneplus download section.
Another great option is flashing ROM. There are lots of good ROMs, try anyone.

Z17S Flashing ROM Questions

Hello,
I have the Nubia Z17S Smartphone
I ordered it in December via the cect-shop.com shop. It came with a preinstalled Custom ROM including Google PlayStore.
I regurarley get the notification for OTA Update on the phone. But after downloading and starting to install, i always getting an error message.
So now to my questions:
- What about the official ROM's for the phone. If I'd install it, what are the downsides? There's no Google Play Store, right? what else? //ui.nubia.cn/rom/detail/48
- After instlalling the official ROM, is there any way to install the Goolge Play Store?
- Is it recommended to flash the MIUI9 ROM, which now also works for the Z17S ? //bbs.nubia.cn/thread-1181990-1-1.html
Some (relevant) infos:
I live in Europe, Switzerland. I use the NOVA Launcher
Model: NX595J
nubia UI: V5.1
Build-Nummer_ENCommon_V2.11
Android 7.1.1
thanks in advance

Did anyone tried Project E OS Rom?

i want to flash project E OS Rom. a customised rom without any Google App or Service. so i just want to know can anybody tried this rom before? is there any bug? or everything works fine in this rom

I tried but got back to LOS. /e/ is too much iOS style for my taste. It is running smoothly though. However if you want to use apps from the store, be prepared to get English content mostly or at some point language mixed content. Happened to me with Google maps.
