Will somebody help me please... - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

Hello guys ...first I want to thank you for all you do for the phones and tablets. You make them better....faster
Okay so heres my dilemma. I was attempting to root my Galaxy Tab a SM-T357 model from tmobile but somehow I put in a kernel thats not compatible and now it isnt working. I am able to get to the download screen and the recovery one too. Does any one know where I can download the right kernel on odin and fix this please............O and THANK you

I believe that this is your original t mobile firmware http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/89064/T357TUVS1APH1_T357TTMB1APH1_TMB/
It's sammobile so you do have Odin and samsung drivers , I hope that you can correct your defective kernel using this rom
Good luck

how do i install roms on galaxy tab 7 bell? help

can some body tell me how i can install custom rom on my galaxy tab from bell? i have rooted my galaxy tab but when i downloaded the rom manager, it doesnt have the correct flash for recovery, can some body help out please?
Please search first.
Having said that, are there any custom ROMS available for your specific Tab? Have you looked around the development fora?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G
there are some custom roms for the tab, im having problem flashing cmw mod thats all, it doesnt have the galaxy tab bell version under the flash choices
CWM is not the only way to flash roms. There's also heimdall. Which Tab specifically do you have? A model number would help.
model#:gt-p1000m
You should be able to flash any gsm rom, other bell users might be able to verify, using ODIN, Heimdall or cwm. !st thing I'd do is read up on ODIN ver.1.7. Then read up on Heimdall. The more ways to flash you know the better chance, if something goes awry, you can fix it.
Being a gt-p1000 variant means you are a gsm tablet. Only flash gsm roms, wifi only and cdma roms WILL brick your tab.
Also be a good Idea to check you don't have locked bootloaders.. Check here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=888071 . look for bootloader patch.apk
Will check if bootloaders are locked and ask if you want to unlock or will say bootloaders are good to go.
Find the rom you want to install, read up on how to install - each chef generally has instructions.
Have fun....
Go to the overcome thread, doesn't matter which one for a tutorial on how to flash using ODIN, it has pictures for those that like visual stuff...

Please at least take 5 minutes to go read some threads instead of just jumping in and assuming you can just install CWM and be ready.

thank you ,
but are u sure ? cause some guys said the same when i tried to flash some n910c theme , but i flashe without ant problem.
anyway , what is the difference between n910c and 910h ?
No. I will not work and may brick the device. The cooked/ custom ROM that you installed does not normally include "modem". The main difference is on the "modem". The official lollipop fw for N910C include its modem.

No we cant flash new update for N910C to our N910H
because we need modem and bootloader and maybe pit file to support android 5
we must wait for update for our device.
Any odin firmware flash has to be flashed to that specific model number or it will brick your phone. What you are waiting for is just the rom extracted or even the modem extracted to flash separetly.

Yes it is possible. I'm gonna test it. Downloading the ROM to my server and then I'm gonna download it to my computer and modify it. If it worked, I'll post a direct link and a tutorial over here. And by direct link I mean you get to download the ROM from my server with the highest possible speed and not from that cheepskate Sammobile. By the way, if there are any Iranians here, let me know.
And this was tested by some other guy, I figured, I'd give it a shot.
Note that after flashing this rom that I'm testing, your phone will have STOCK Rom from Samsung and LTE and Download Booster will be enabled on your N910H but in settings it's gonna say you have N910C.
P.S. Hit the thumbs up

hi , any update on the matter?

Samsung s4 sc04e docomo

I just want to ask quick question that if i download samsung stock firmware from sammobile will this be ok with my wifi or camera and mic problem
because i have downloaded an official previous lollipop version from this xda site link is SC04EOMUGOI4 Link: https://mega.nz/#!hEZ3kQoT!UDugAgYis...6EQPCf9vjrXeZg
this is an only stock which i successfully installed into my s4 i dun know japanese or vietnamese this mobile is!! but there still a wifi turn on problem.. and now i am going to download new update of lollipop which came after above linked version will that new stock rom fix my wifi problem or if not then what should i do.. i am desperate to get back to daily use of my s4 but could not find a complete rom.. my mobile is rooted will this cause any problem.. if someone has grip on this issue i would rather ask him/her to guide me like a newbie it would highly be appreciated.
thank you.
How did the wifi problem occur?
Boot into download/Odin mode and confirm the model # before flashing anything else.

Unrooting to stock rom?

Hi,
I have been rooting my note 4 since it came out and familiar with any problems that may occur with kernels and stuff...
I decided to sell my phone and put it towards an S8 when i t comes out, i am sending my phone to Mazuma Mobile but wanted to unroot it first but the stock firmwares i am flashing though Odin are stuck on the Samsung start up screen.
I am not sure about unrooting and need some help, the latest firmware i have tried is "BTU-N910FXXU1BOC5-20150423120804" - i have the N910F model but it wont load beyond the Samsung bootup screen.
Anybody give me some help please and maybe point me to the correct firmware that i should be using?
Appreciate any help.
Thank you.
Think i need to use the latest firmware - N910FXXS1DQC3
Can someone point me to somewhere i can download this please?
Every link i check asks me to buy an upgrade account to down load this firmware.
Cheers

Samsung s7 edge Rooted HELP!

My Samsung galaxy s7 edge (G935F) Is stuck in a boot loop and doesn't have an OS installed. Bit unsure what to do. I have tried installing a stock rom and for some reason when I try to copy a zip file to team win TWRP,(and I have MTP enabled) my laptop says this device has either stopped or isn't taking files? Anyone with any ideas please respond and don't tell me try take it to Samsung and ask for a fix cuz I tried that and they said we don't fix rooted stuff. I took it to a phone shop once and they said try flashing a custom rom with Odin. Reply here with any ideas! Thanks!
hey and welcome to xda!
the best and easyiest way is to start new - flash your firmware with ODIN - that will work in every situation!
You need to download stock firmware and start afresh. Stock firmware is the image of the official firmware that came (or updated officially) with your device.
Go to Sammobile and select model number and then your country. Since you didn't mention your country, here's the link that will directly land you to your G935F firmwares: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7-edge/SM-G935F/
Once you select country, you can read instructions on how to flash the image with Odin (link is also provided there).
Hope this helps Please feel free to ask any query. Happy Flashing!
