Going to be a lot of happy campers.
Here's to never giving up.

Update: New Kernel: Grab it in downloads,
or take the lazy way and get it from here: Nebula_1.0.0-alpha_v10_20161216_125403.zip
Note: Bugs are Evident, there is no way to make anything perfect on this device nor any device. If you experience issues, then post bug with log..
This is Alpha build.. Trying new things and getting it more setup for you all.............
Not for the faint of heart.. If you have no clue what TWRP is, or dont know what a kernel is, Then plz dont flash this..........
I am in no mood to teach or save your butt from killing your device.......... I dont have to do this. and I only am doing it for the peepz that waited
so long.. and the respect that some gave me..........
Enjoy Kernel...............
I will fix this thread up more as time goes on......... Just put something up really quick for the time being.........
Thread is best viewed from a PC.. or mobile with Chrome.. Not sure about tapetalk
BUGS: There is one bug that I do know about. Device will random reboot because of it.
I added cpu_input_boost and disabled cpu_boost.. but cpu_input_boost was causing the watchdog to bite, meaning kernel panic and reboot...........
I disabled cpu_input_boost and re enabled cpu_boost.. Hope that fixes the issue.

Finally this phone can live up to its potential!
Thanks for not giving up on us!

Thanks Eliminater74!

Thank you!!!!!!
Sent from my LG-H901 using XDA-Developers mobile app

Thanks eliminater. Quick question. Would this kernel work on a ported h906 to h901 Rom. Its called radeonmaya.

Ok... I can testify that device booted correctly after flashing alpha1...

Just flashed. Boots no problem and seems smoother. Playing with kernel settings.
Did get one random reboot though, will try to get log when I'm home.
Edit: seems to be rebooting when screen off (quite often).

Question is... how to play around kernel settings? Is there a dedicated app, or it suffice to use Kernel Adiutor or similar apps?

ElementalX Kernel Manager and Kernel Adiutor are what I use for Kernel Management..................................

Eliminater74, now that we have a customizable kernel... is it possible to force max battery charge rate (1800 mA or more)?
I know that sounds bothering... but I noticed that even when phone is charging, it loses battery percentage... just like it's no fully feeded by power.
Using in my car (with Android Auto equipment) sooner or later battery depletes, although it is connected to a 2A usb socket.

yea when you learn to code C++ you can do that
im kidding, but your going to kill your battery sooner .. the only thing I will do is what I did for my htc10, and thats force 900mA for usb fast charging.........

ahahahah... ok, to me it will be a little difficult.
Please read my edited post... it would be very useful to have some more juice to the battery in some situation.

Add your list of ideas to the tab that says " Features and Request" then ill take a look at it when I get to it. I am still currently adding things and trying to catch up with things on it.
I still wanna work on my sound mod.. if I can port my sound mod to this device.. it would be nice.. it uses partly sony driver base.........
but all features can be added in that tab above thread.

I'm changing my procedure to better the update frequency. As you all know, I hate write ups. It keeps me from updating frequently. Nightlies may have unforeseen bugs. Report them and I'll look into them. I use my N4 now and don't want to switch my SIM constantly. I simply build and test common features. I'll announce new updates.

GMail app not recommended. It drains battery rapidly. Try a third party. I use Aqua Mail and set it to sync hourly. If you need instant mail notifications K9 is a good choice

Awesome work will try this right now
EDIT:
Really fast no lag at all, awesome ROM
Hmm looks interesting. Might try it out on my secondary partition and see if it will work with Devil 4.2.
Holy crap! :victory: its another rom! Ok i'll also give this a go.
WOW, this looks cool. Gonna give this a try and post my personal thoughts and benchmark results sometime today. Gotta have some of that PIE
status bar doesnt hide when expanding the desktop, or is not suppose to?
Edit: Found the setting so it toggles the status bar.

This is next. Maybe tomorrow. It's late and I want to make a couple changes
Plz add custom actions for hardware buttons as in CyanogenMod 10.1. That is the only thing holding me back from using this as my daily driver.
Other than that its awesome!
I just noticed that even with the notification LED set to off the keys still light up when I get notifications.
Oh for damn's sake. I was trying to keep it relatively original. That way I could simply update. I have a family and do this as a hobby. I'll see what I can do. When I'm done with Pac-Man
I just notice that Bluetooth doesn't work, I try tethering it and it don't turn on

This happens for me aswell. Annoying
Have an issue with last build, battery seems to drain too quickly, i'm unable to disable NFC, here's two battery log
Plus I'd love again to see LVM support over Find 5 I have issues installing some games like Simpsons Springfield, they beleive there's not enough space, what can I do for that? can I resize the partitions ?
(posted both on oppoforum and XDA)
anoyingg ussd popups
running the latest update..4.6 beta4.. loving the rom... but theres a stupid USSD popup ... when someone calls me ...first thing that shows is the ussd ... never happen before... went searching in the settings ..nothing seems to stop it... does anyone know something about it ?
talking about the rom ... very fast ..to me seems stable.. some times the screen flickers ..but not enough to get me anoid ... lol
stay paranoid...
Hey guys,
I wanted to apologize in my threads for the lack of updates during the last weeks, the main reason has been that my grandpa is at the hospital, Lollipop source drop and my latest app, HubToDate. The builds for N1 and Find5 are scheduled a bit after Nexus, Find7 and OnePlus. You're a priority but we can't provide an ETA. By the way, HubToDate, my app, is now finished and being voted here in XDA and I hope to be back online after the holiday season.
See you,

ROM Review
As per my usage here is my review...!!
- Rom is super smooth. There is not even 0.000001% lag while usage
- Can't tell battery life right now. But still I observed its good.
- MIUI sound mods included in this rom which is really a bonus amd excellent work.
Things which I miss and expecting in rom
- Need dt2s option for lockscreen.
- Like someone said button remapping should be there.
- More veriety of tiles are needed. Basic tiles like screenshot and reboot is not present.
- And video recordings bug which I just just hate is still present in this rom. Slow motion still not working. May be problem with sources that used to build the rom.
Anyway overall its a great rom Superb work.
very good battery life, but take a look to that weird problem with Bluetooth...

Everything's working flawlessly so far. And for a 5 years old device so snappy. Can't keep my fingers off, even I have a poco in the left and a mi 9 t pro in the right pocket.
Wow...finally android 10 by my favourite developer ?
This is an awesome ROM. Feels fluid. Gestures work too(except back gesture). Thanks for keeping cancro alive.
Thanks
Thanks dev

This is my mi3 and all the sensors seems to be working fine
anyone figured out how to root this ROM?
This is so cool. Every year, inspite of what device I'm using, I always look forward to flashing the latest version of Android on my Mi 3. This is a legacy of its own all thanks to vasishath.

This is seriously incredible, supporting a device which launched with Jelly Bean!! Thank you so much for keeping the support for this device going! My mum uses my MI3 now, but it's definitely still going strong after 6 years of use!
It will work for MI 4w?
It will work for MI 4w?

Yes
Strange. First boot yielded a black screen just after the google bootanimation. I could not wake up the device, and I also could not see the device via adb to pull a log. I thought my phone died. Went to try and power on the device and could not...
Anyway, it was at that point I noticed windows was installing the Qualcomm HS-USB 9006 drivers. So I forcefully restarted my Mi3W by long holding the power button. Sure enough, the device came back on and this time it boots right into the ROM.
I thought that was extremely odd, and it nearly caused me to go into panic - but after all appeared to be well I pushed on with the device setup... After I rebooted my phone, the black screen issue returns, but this time it's right after the first splashscreen before the ROM's bootanimation starts.
Just like the first occurrence, when I plug my device into a computer, the Qualcomm 9006 driver is loaded; and the phones acts as a USB storage device containing a bunch of sensitive device files... Qualcomms Diagnostic Mode. I actually cannot boot into the ROM anymore without a reinstallation via TWRP; however the problem repeats itself soon after.
Are there anymore reports like this?
Edit: I acknowledge now the 1st boot black screen issue after Gapps installation is known. However the other black screen issue on every boot afterwards is interesting. Don't worry though, I can still get into TWRP; so of coarse there is nothing to be truly concerned about.
Update: I've had to restore my previous working ROM as this ROM somehow is causing the device to boot to diagnostic mode without any way to break the loop. Got to say a big thank you though, @vasishath @Shahan_mik3, you guys have really brought some amazing meals to the table!
