Hall sensor not working. - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

Hello.
I have thought that Le Pro 3 has a hall sensor. If it does. Mine is not working. I have x720 phone. with 19s version. I don't think is original. It has Google Store and not a single chinese sign or bloatware. I think is a vendor rom.
I tried with a lot of magnets and and there is no hall sensor. I ordered a flip case that was supposed to work with that sensor and open/close phone when you open the cover.
I checked the Accessibility/hall sensor option to On but nothing works.
Did anyone checked his phone for hall sensor?
Thanks

Lastest for x720 is 18s...

Mine eui version is 5.8.019s (Stable)

I testet on my device and there is a Hall sensor and its working well.
I am on the s18 on x720

You have test it with a magnet?
I don't know if mine is not working hardware or maybe is the vendor ROM to blame.
I have installed Sensor Test and at the magnetic field it says uncalibrated. I don't know how to fix it
When I aproach a magnet to the phone in sensor test it detect it and it show it works. So I think is the software to blame.

I tried again with cydras rom. And somehow it works sometime. When I try with a magnet, close to the buttons it works but only sometimes. Not allways.

I received the original flip cover and it works. It must have a special magnet or something.
The phone works and close screen when I flip it.

[Q] Does anyone else have this manufacturing problem? And what should I do?

On October 23rd I purchased my Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900W8) Canadian variant from Rogers Wireless and after a couple of weeks using the device I noticed two problems.
1) The proximity sensor was always at proximity value 1.0 (ADC value goes from 331 - 1004)
2) The glass screen popped up a little near the sensor area (glass is not glued properly to the chasis) resulting in a small gap (about 0.3mm). Its big enough for me to put a toothpick between the glass screen and the housing.
Now the proximity sensor works fine as I've tested it using the *#0*# and the values are able to go from 300ish to maxed out at 1004 when entirely covered. So this told me it wasn't a dead sensor. After careful examination I found the screen problem and when I used force to push the glass back into the chasis lo' and behold the prox. sensor is functioning as intended!
I sent the device in for warranty repair once stating specifically the screen and the sensor. They took my phone for 2.5 weeks returned it plagued with the same problem. From what I can see, all they did was flash a new firmware (MJ4). Now I can't even root to change the threshold value for the sensor without tripping knox
Any suggestion on how to proceed? Most importantly I want to solve the screen problem.
If its a hardware problem. .. You should get it replaced. .. Take it back to them and show them what is wrong and tell them they done jack to fix it. Please give me new phone NOW! !

[Q]S-view case on note 3 mystery ?

Hello,
I recently bought an S-view case for my note 3, and I have been wondering how it works. I was wondering how the finger detection works through the window (and more specifically why it doesn't work on Cm based roms) as well as how the cose/open detection woks. It's obviously not proximity, and I checked with a few apps, and a magnet, and there dose not seem to be a magnet inside the case either.
If anyone can enlighten me on either of these issues, I would be truely grateful.
Thanks!

Approximate sensor not working at all...

Hi all!
My approximate sensor isn't working anymore (OnePlus 2), and when I searched for the reason (or solution ) on the internet, I've found this link:
https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/afx-zip-containing-persist-img-reserve4-img.198286/
I've downloaded afx.zip (with persistent.img) and just wanted to know if someone has had the same problem... And how did he fix it... Is it dangerous to flash persistent.img?
Best regards, Lorenz Demar
I had the same problem. Then i removed my tempered glass protector which was covering also that sensor. now it works as it should.
Also, having a wallet case for this phone with card holder can put the upper part to far away from the proximity sensor for it to function, that is the case with my CaseMe leather wallet case, solution is to put some layers of electric tape on the upper part inside of the case ?
Thank you guys, nothing helped. I have'nt a flip cover so I don't think this may help but thank you anyway for your time, I think I try to flash persist.img. I'll Update this post if I'm done
Ok guys please listen!!!! Do not flash persist.img it will destroy your device!!! I have no camera at all working, cpu-z says there are no sensors...

LeEco Le Pro 3 Camera Problem [HARDWARE/BOARD]

hi , everyone .
i have problems with my Le Pro 3 camera
my back camera is can't open (black screen)
and i'm logging --> i found this log
--> no camera id found
.
anyone have solutions ?
.
thanks :good:
99% a hardware issue. Either the camera module stopped working or a cable is loose. 1% it's a software issue. If you're on a ROM, go back to stock and see if it works.
I've heard of this behaviour with the fingerprint scanner on the x720. It always turns out to be a hardware issue (the scanner stops working). In any case, the phone is easy enough to open up. The only struggle is getting the screen off without breaking it. http://www.myfixguide.com/manual/leeco-le-pro-3-teardown/
You can find replacements on Aliexpress but IDK how good they'll be, and if they're indeed Sony IMX sensors (they could be Omnivision ones).

Help……My sensors do not work!

hi guys, did anyone have a problem with your sensor??? via test * # 0 * # (sensors) Inside the test area all sensors are apparently off , iris sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, heart rate sensor, magnetic sensor, accelerometer sensor and barometer. all the numbers are 0. and I do think the sensor is not broken, but they do not work. My phone is G950FD,
and after updating (about half years ago) all the sensors are borken, what can i do.
Hey, I have the same phone SM-G900FD and my sensors are dead... all of them. It happened a year ago (give or take). One morning I turned it on and first the screen rotation and then every other sensor went dead. I couldn't fix it... My service man said that it was due to the bent motherboard on my phone, but I doubt it since I didn't bent it at all and many other people have the same issue with their S8 plus like you. We now have bootloader U3 and we can't downgrade it to Nougat from Oreo (many have said that this solves the issue). I don't know, you'll just have to live with it like me, 'till you buy a new phone...
