Mistakenly erased everything from TWRP advanced wipe - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

Dear experts,
I am new to TWRP and while formatting the data in TWRP, i went to advanced WIPE and formatted everything including system/internal/data/cache.
Now my galaxy tab A t285 is without any OS.
Now if i start to flash a stock ROM from TWRP, it does not let me do that and gives the error "could not find meta-inf/com/google/android/update-binary".
Can anyone please help me? I am really stuck and do not know how to proceed further.
Thank you,
Regards,
Ali

Dear rachetrizzo,
Thanks for your reply. Actually there was no OS, so going to download mode by pressing Home+power+Volume down was not working.
But luckily i found an option in TWRP to go to download mode and flashed the stock firmware.
Thanks a lot for your reply.

Hi,
I think you can use Odin and flash your ROM via USB.
Do you have a backup ROM?

Problems after flashing Lollipop 5.02 on SM-G530H

Hello to all!
I flashed my Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (SM-G530H) with the latest ROM available downloaded from SAMMobile. I installed the rom, rooted it and everything worked perfectly. The problem is that after about one week I start getting crashes and program and processes forced closures, until it starts resetting itself.
Any ideas about what could be causing this?
Thanks for any help!

Before to flash, format everything! :good:
If your baseband version is:
- XXU, download this and flash it! ---> http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/60382/G530HXXU2BOJ1_G530HUUB2BOJ1_TPA/
- XCU, download this and flash it! ---> http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/59187/G530HXCU1BOJ2_G530HOXE1BOI3_CAC/. These are latest builds! (09 OCT.) I hope to helps!
Factory reset your phone with a custom recovery, I prefer TWPR, boot ur phone into download mode and flash lollipop again with odin, i think this wil solve your probems, only issue is that you´ll lose your data.

SM-910W8 suck on Set Warranty Bit: Kernel / Recovery

Hi all,
Using my Note4 the other day and it suddenly restarted. When it booted back up, its was suck on the "Set Warranty Bit: Kernel" screen.
I read that I could use Odin to recover the OS as I need the data from the phone.
I downloaded the sock FW from sammobile for my device and flashed it with Odin.
During the flash process, it failed on the modem portion.
When it booted back up, it booted to the "Set Warranty Bit: Recovery" screen.
I tried to flash it again, and it passed this time, but same results.
How can I recover my OS to get the data off the phone or is there another way to do this?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You must wipe cache and data factory reset from recovery after flash firmware to avoid bootloops and clean os .i am not sure how you get data off the phone but for rooted users must make backup to microsd card or pc all data+efs+backup rom all the time .cuz things might go wrong at anytime.

Phone always booting into twrp recovery mode, any solution?

2-3 days ago I successfully rooted my Moto E3 power by unlocking bootloader and installing twrp recovery. Yesterday I installed Lineage 14.1 custom Rom (7.1.2) for Moto E3 power from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e3/development/rom-lineage-14-1-moto-e3-power-t3610435
The Rom installation was successful. Phone was working fine. But there was some minor lag and screen was appearing to be yellowish. Hence I decided to Factory reset the phone. I tried to reset it from phone settings. The phone switched off and turned on into twrp recovery mode. Then I tried to factory reset through twrp mode. But it is always booting into twrp recovery. I wiped all cache and data including system data and flashed the above Rom again. But whenever I try to system reboot, it is not booting normally, but always going into twrp mode.
Please provide solution for the issue with appropriate information and links.
Thanks.
Beauause u delete the all ROM
For Reset phone -: not need to wipe system and boot.. Only do a factory reset

Yes, I know that
I had done just factory reset earlier, but after that it kept on booting into recovery mode everytime I reboot the phone. Then I cleared system data to flash the ROM again. I should have done factory reset through recovery mode rather than from phone settings.
Flash a sp flash ROM without format... And again try twrp and custom ROM

Update: Don't know if you still need the solution, but I am gonna share my info. Although as the phone you were talking about must be Moto E3, my phone is Lenovo K3 Note, but the processor should basically be the same, as both runs on Mediatek processors. And for the same reason, they both would use the SP Flash Tool to flash a ROM. You'll need to download the Stock ROM file for your moto E3, and flash it through SP flash tool installed on your computer. You'll get the tutorials on youtube. When the stock ROM is flashed, the phone will start with your stock ROM. I have had my phone do the same and it is fine now.

Yes i recovered from the situation.
You just had to download the sp flash tool and the stock ROM for your respective phone, and flash it . Remember for the above problem you just have to use the "download only" option in your sp flash tool and it will work. if you use "format all+download"
you will left by losing imei number of your phone and then you have to follow other procedure to fix that. but according to me your phone will start by choosing download only.

hello
i dony know how but i finally formated and installed XEU rom. i had to format all/fix partitions with TWRP.
now i am afraid of trying again to install TWRP. i have seen that there are 2 ou 3 different tutorials.
my model is the edge europe. can someone give the exact right method to install twrp and rom please?
i didn't quite understand your problem but after flashing twrp u need to format data using twrp recovery. only then can u boot ur stock rom normally or flash a custom rom.
