Updated to nougat beta. Would like to go back to stock. best method for doing this? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answers

Hey everyone, I've seen several threads related to Odin and going back to stock samsung rom. I have an idea of the method but I was hoping someone with more knowledge than me could point me to a thread with the best and easiest method for doing this? Thank you in advance for your help

I de registered, then downloaded Samsung Smart switch on my PC. Then hook up your phone, and open the app, it should say there is an update. The update will be MM, and will downgrade ya. Be aware, it will wipe ur phone, so do any backups ya need to do.
Hope this helps.

I was a Samsung S2 Plus user and there was really easy flash something but on ZF2 with fastboot and recovery i don't know where go.
I am using full stock ROM unroot never touched. There is a SAFE way to flash a full firmware? I read that someone deleted some partition and IMEI was lost
Thanks for the help.

T337A Temp root, boot(LP fix).tar, & official 5.1.1 firmware. Help w/permanent root?

T337A Temp root, boot(LP fix).tar, & official 5.1.1 firmware. Help w/permanent root?
I just thought that all of this might help a permanent root be developed. I have no idea how to work the magic that developers here perform all the time. I just thought I would post this information if it helps to get a permanent root on the T337A running 5.1.1, and politely ask that if anyone out there is able to check this out, I would greatly appreciate it. So, here's my b.s. :
TechNyne66 posted that Kingroot apk temporarily roots T337A and knox is not tripped:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/general/att-tab-4-8-t337a-temp-root-t3301345
I've rooted it this way, but reboot softbricks the tablet. It can be rebooted with the boot(LP fix).tar via odin:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/general/rooted-nk2-att-t377a-t2992639
This will boot it back up with a custom logo and root is essentially removed.
In my experience, after all this has happened, the battery life sucks.
Now the 5.1.1 firmware is available here, to fully return to stock:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/general/official-att-lollipop-firmware-tab-4-sm-t3439252
Just throwing it out there. Maybe people have seen all of this and it doesn't help at all. It just sounded like it could be toyed with, now that there's an official firmware for 5.1.1 available. Anyone I could approach with this to ask for help? I don't want to go bugging people though...
If you read all this shiz, thank you.
Nobody? Is there anyone who could help, or direct me to someone who can possibly help with rooting the T337A with this information?

Updating stock

Hello guys, I had my phone rooted a while ago (HTC ONE M8, international version or say INDIAN version) and was running on custom roms. Then came the Marshmallow update so I unrooted and all no RUU was available for Android M so I flashed Android L and updated OTA. And then again i had so many apps and god knows what and I wanted a fresh slate as everything was slowing it down very much and somehow I flashed the zip file using the sdcard method. And now the system is taking a good 7-8 GB of the internal 16GB. Right now the phone is RELOCKED, STOCK RECOVERY, UNROOTED. Just think of it as in a default condition. Now I have "0P6BIMG_M8_UHL_M60_SENSE70_MR_hTC_Asia_India_6.15. 720.2_Radio_1.29.214500021.12G_20.72.4196t.01_F_re lease_469495_signed" This RUU.zip. I WANT TO WIPE EVERYTHING PREVIOUSLY ON THE PHONE, LITERALLY EVERYTHING, AND THEN INSTALL THIS RUU SO THAT IT USES THE MINIMUM POSSIBLE SYSTEM SPACE. How to do that? I do not need a detailed guide just give me the step-wise information as in flash TWRP first then do this, then do that, you know what I am saying. Please help me out here it would be a lot of help, I can not see this great a device lagging doing the normal stuff. THANK YOU :fingers-crossed:
Stick to one thread, and please stop posting the same thing over and over (you've now copy/pasted the exact same post 3 times). I've provided some guidance in to the other thread you posted in.
"General" is also not the right place to ask for this kind of help.
thread closed, the answer you seek is here:

How to go back to kitkat

Anyone knows the easiest way to go back to kitkat? Will I just need to flash the stock rom? I'm on stock lollipop right now.
Few months ago i asked the same question, i searched for it my self because its already here in the forum . Anyway my advice is you stick to lollipip. The device is faster and more apps are compatible

Backup Firmware before root?

Hi Guys
Hopefully, someone could point me in the right direction.
I'm ready to Root my S8 phone, but previously lessons with Samsung have Taught me I'm going to need to backup the firmware before I do anything.
Has anyone managed to do this before?
I know there is stock firmware out there to download when I want to revert. But last time on my S6 I lost the ability to use google play music because of something with firmware issues.
Maybe this was to do with having brought my phone in New Zealand.
I tried many different firmware and roms until I realized there must have been something not compatible with my phone and I gave up.
I haven't found any guides yet as I google this topic.
Thanks in advance guys!
