I'm new to the note 4 and can anybody give me some suggestions with some stable marshmallow custom ROM? Or a stable CM ROM? N910F.

Noble rom s7 edge port v3 with ramkernel mm v4 is good and very stable in my opinion i am running daily driver with batman injustice theme.
So fas its stable only fingerprint dosent work there is workaround to make it work but who cares.
I got 2000$ s7 edge batman injustice edition phone features with this rom.

Yes it works with datafix and kernel for your model.
I have n910t and it works i believe Canadian and n910t required similar files.

I recommend you KURAMA v3 by Kazica...stock kernel and not ported ROM...my advice for you is try to stay away from ported ROMS!!

My advice is try red dragon note 7 port.
Best tom I've had on the note 4 and the nougart UI gives it a fresh feel.

I want to advice U to try resurrection remix rom.
- It based on CM 14.1
- Android 7.1.1
- Ultra Stable rom.
- google assistant support
- High performance
- very good battery.
- fingerprint
- customizations like enable soft keys, disable hardware keys and more...
Try it bro, in my opinion it is the best rom for S5.

Just wanna ask. Im currently on resurrection remix 5.8, before this came from stock 6.0.1 rom. If i want to go for stock based 5.0.1 custom rom, will there be any problems? As in the boot, recovery and modem compatibility?

u should be fine as i flashed cm11 on my device which is kitkat but my phone was on stock lollipop with samsung software:highfive:

Because the stock on the Canadian Note 4 is really laggy, I searched for some custom roms and haven't found that many for the N910W8, but there tons for other models, which one will most likely be compatible with this one?

Not that Galaxy S1 laggy, it's that I've been using galaxy j1 mini before and it felt snappier

All roms are compatible you will require to flash custom kernel & datafix with the rom that works for your model.
Only aosp roms like cyanogenmod and lineage os required based on your model they cannot work from other models.
N910W8 and N910T custom ROMs are compatible with each other. Other N910 ROMs, you will need to flash the kernel and datafix. Search or google is your friend. As the other post, if you just want to fix "laggy", maybe you should clear your cache and/or reset your phone.

You'd be looking for the trltetmo variant that is also compatible with the SM-N910W8. I build daily for that variant. I also recommend the latest bootloader and modem (BL_CP), see my signature for links.

Yeah its working pretty well, my only problems are that the front photo camera is very dark at low light, and there is not S Pen app.

I'm guessing before I do anything I have to root the phn 1st then install TWRP back up phn,wipe, then flash the .tar then load Lineage ?
Or lineage then the .tar.. Or does it matter which is done 1st..?

The rom that's come closest to what io want is UltraLite and Lineage, if i could get Samsung apps/themes/cloud to work on one of them i'd use it.. i've tried the addon package for UltraLight but it didnt work, maybe i'm doing something wrong?
what i want: Gapps and samsung apps/theme/cloud working "out of the box" can someone point me in the right direction?

I'm personally using stock odex rom, debloated & rooted. haven't found a stable, secure rom worth going to

Stock ROM is the way to go on the Note 4. I personally use TWIZtd ROM N7 port and it seems stable, but there are sliiiiiiight bugs there that could be a deal breaker for some. For me, not really I love this ROM

I personally love stock+custom permissive kernel+root+xposed+high sound volume mod+dolby atmos+bloatware removed.

No this is not a rom this setup i made manually with stock firmware other tweaks.
