[Q] How magiapp works?

I am quite sure you have received picture from someone on WhatsApp, Its thumbnail is different from actual picture and you are trolled and this is done with the help of an app " magiapp" :good: . Now m curious to know that how this app works or how this trick works .

whatsapp issue while screen off

Hello,
with my P9 Lite (with my other Huawei GX8 too) stock rom when the screen is off since a few I don't receive whatsapp notifications until I enter the app.
No problem if whatsapp is on or used a few second before.
Any suggestion?

Man, it is a general problem with Huawei phones... EMUI have a very agressive power management of applications when screen is off...
Use SEARCH, is already sugestions/tips arround!

thanks but I tried all I found in youtube, google search, something from XDA... no solution!!!
please can I receive any link to a right solution?
I'm going crazy...

I had the same problem on firmware B130, now I'm on B161 and no more issues. Put Whatsapp in the protected apps, use the Performance profile. If that doesn't work, update the phone.

I have a Huawei P9 Lite mobile Phone. When I make a whatsup call the screen switches off. I am not able to identify the status of call but I can speak and hear very well. The screen is back only when the person who I called cut the call or end the call. If the call is not connected also the screen goes blank and will return only when the ring tone ends.

I just Bought the V20 and i Like it But i Love HTC Sense as ive been Rocking with them Since the ( PPC 6700 ) Anyway Because of the Removal Batterry and Some Other Factors Like Getting the Phone on Sale for $360 and they Threw in a Mini Projector and also a Otterbox Defender i Jumped Ship but i am Very Unhappy with LG's UI ?
Anyway the Phone is Awsome and i Cant Beat the Deal!
So my Question is ? Without Rooting and Flashing a Custom Rom is there Away to Get the HTC APK working Fully on the LG v20 and What i Mean is Can i Het it Worling where i Can Log into my HTC Account and Make and Download Themes from the HTC Hub ???? Also if Possible Could weather Animations Work as i See the LG V20 and HTC Phones Both Use Accuweather as there Weather Engine! Please Advise!

Download and install the .apk found in the thread above. It works perfectly with my LG V20 which is not unlocked/rooted. Enjoy. ?

first off thanks for the reply i have had net access but im back! anyway i went downloaded and installed restarted phone and its running Flawlessly! but only one Problem it seems HTC removed Instagram ??? so i went and found another thread! and it had a instagram apk but after i installed it! i get an error! do you know if there a way i can make adjustments or changes to this APK to make it Work on my V20 ??? if not its ok i have stil have the actual instagram from the Playstore! if possible i would just like it to be part of my BlinkFeed

I ve just up dated my 6p to Android Oreo
But the notification dots and the pic in pic mode are enabled they don't seem to work or may be i am not doing it right if somebody can help me. I ve checked the dots in each app but still no luck. Aside of this the software is working perfectly fine with alot of bugs gone and i even feel it smother

For picture in picture mode to work, you need to update the Youtube application, and I believe you have to be a Youtube Red/Google Play Music subscriber for it to work.

when subscribed in pic in pic it only worked there!
but not in any other App

The are few apps that implemented it yet, video calls on WhatsApp, YouTube only with red subscription, videos in chrome (not youtube) and VLC player I believe

Google Now Launcher doesn't support notification dots. Download the Pixel launcher or the Lawnchair launcher if you want them.

FB messenger app is flickering consistently during refreshing in my Huawei NOVA 3i !!

Sorry for bothering you guys. I am facing a weird problem with FB Messenger app in my Huawei Nova 3i. !! When i open messenger app its flicks and my notification bar disappear, flicks again and became stable. After that when i try to start a chat with someone those flickering happens again.
I already enabled the “Disable HW overlays” but no luck there. Sometimes I am facing this problem with Linkedin but no other app. I have recorded a video, but wasn't able upload.
Let me know if you guys can do something for me.
Looking forward to hear something from any of you and thanks in advance.

Hi, guy, it's Sandy. Hope I can do some help, I do not have the issue, have you done a series normal recovery action ?
1、Delete the Messenger's cache and data
2、Uninstall Messenger and install
3、Reset the system
And how about now? Are there also the same issue?
