Which partitions did you make a backup of? From the brief description of your problem I would hazard a guess that you may need to re-flash your boot partition. I could easily be wrong though.
Hello all partition sélectionned in twrp i have change nothing.

That is definitely a most helpful link, however it will install the xt1575 modem (according to the 1st post in that thread) and our friend in need has the xt1572

Trouble reflashing ASUS stock ROM for ZE551KL

I accidentally tried doing a factory reset, and flashing an incorrect rom. So I lost the stock rom, and have no other rom to use. I tried using TWRP to flash ASUS's stock firmware from asus's support website, under firmware. Using firmware file: "UL-Z00T-WW-1.16.40.763-user.zip"
but TWRP tells me "E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/TWRP/Stock.zip'
Error flashing '/sdcard/TWRP/Stock.zip"
I still have access to both adb, fastboot, and TWRP but I cant get an OS to install.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, haven't even had this phone a day yet, and already may have broken it.
I don't have an answer to your question , just got this phone yesterday and am in the process of figuring out how to root and install a custom recovery for this specific device.. I have found many methods to root but none for my specific model. I think you have the same model as I do and was hoping you could lead me to the place that will give me the files I need.. the box my phone came in has the model as ASUS_Z00TD (ZE551KL).. Sorry I wasn't of any help to you, hope you manage to figure out how to flash something that will get your device running again!

Happy to know that it works for you.
Whenever you got stuck in this situation, just flash stock recovery & you will able to flash stock rom again.

Do yo mean this stock recovery? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64441364&postcount=9
How do I flash it? just "fastboot flash recovery stock_recovery.img" ?
If so, I've tried that, and TWRP still boot when I try to enter recovery. Also, once I've flashed the stock recovery, do I just place the firmware on the root of the sdcard as 'update.zip' and try to install it from there?
Thanks for your help already, and sorry about the repetitive questions!

I just flashed a TWRP .img to my Huawei Y3II (LUA-L02) but it only made my phone enter a boot loop.
I don't know how to fix it...
I'm guessing I'd need to go back to the 'stock recovery' but I don't know where to get the original .img file.
PLEASE HELP!!

Wow
Wow thank you so much for sharing that TWRP. I did manage to get a recovery going and the phone now does not reboot over and over. But it still does not start, just stops at Huawei image. I think I may need the stock firmware, but it is difficult to find for LUA-L02.

A2017U No Longer Recognized on PC

I had attempted to update by bootloader via TWRP to B32 (and modem) and installed a new rom. After I installed the rom per instructions, I reboot and it got caught in a loop where it would restart in Recovery Mode.
I had lost everything on the phone's storage.
I then tried to Flash back to stock, but none of my computers will recognize the phone in MiFlash. It displays the com port, but the serial is f1*****.
When I hit flash, i get an error regarding "cannot found file flash_all_except_storage.bat"
I have reinstalled all the drivers and it still doesn't work. In ADB, when i do "adb devices" the list is blank.
I've tried in bootloader mode as well as download mode (black screen after vol+, vol -, and power)...Same results
I have little experience with Axon 7, so my apologies for the lack of terminology. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
What model phone? Which rom?
I would start by flashing stock rom in recovery.

Thank you for the reply and assistance!!!

I believe you have TWRP? If so, you should have adb while on the main screen.
Try one thing before doing the next: Format data. Maybe the ROM will boot after that.
Do you have an SD card, or maybe an USB OTG? If you have any of those you can get Lineage 14.1, the B15 universal bootloader, and the A2017U modem, plus Magisk 15.2, and flash them all. Then try again to flash PNW.
One more thing: You tried to keep data when going from N to O? Don't... Start with a clean slate when changing Android versions!

If you have TWRP installed and no nandroid backup the easiest way to get back to B32 is with the TWRP B32 flash files. Just search Drakenfx on androidfilehost.com Guaranteed to work.
Not sure if it's proper etiquette to post external links.
