Hi guys.
I have a Zenfone 5 Rooted with 3.24.40.87 version and the loudspeaker's sound is a little low even when it's in the max.
I followed this tutorial http://technoplanners.blogspot.pt/2015/09/how-to-increase-volume-on-asus-zenfone.html and I think it boosted a little.
What I want to know is if is there another method/program to give a boost to the loudspeaker or there isn't more better solutions.

Hi all. I just picked up a Zenfone lazer to use while my Zenfone 2 goes in for warranty repair. I notice that while using esrbuds, the playback volume is so much lower that my other phone. Is this normal or is there a setting to raise the volume? Non-rooted presently.

Having switched from the first Zenfone2 to a Laser one (z00td) I also noticed the big decrease in volume.
It's still satisfactory to me, though, so I didn't sweat over it.
Other subtle difference is the screen color calibration. It's just horrible on the Laser by default (way too warm, whites aren't white), and to make it better I had to calibrate it to the coolest possible (on stock) or use CM (where the calibration is fine by default).
All in all, a lot of the hardware is just different (e.g. the Laser doesn't support 5ghz wifi, hard buttons are improved, etc), probably to make it cheaper to produce and address some nuisances.

Use the Opus Magnum soundmod pack. It's a flashable zip. It includes fot example the Viper audio mod, wicj is one of the best audio mods for android. It works perfectly with oreo.

Battery is great 10h sot easily with 2 days usage calling video calling and browsing chating . Phone is smooth and fast. Does not heat. Camera is not upto mark. Good in light and night its really bad.
Redmi note 5 pro/ai is way better
I play RULES OF SURVIVAL, and it plays flawlessly on my M1(3gb). Camera is 6/10. For YouTube, music, calling etc its best 10/10 , as screen and speaker is too damn good for the price.

Also asus is providing regular updates to improve it's camera. But I can't find them helpful.
Also, this device is based on stock Android so the Multitouch bug is there. Which is really annoying.
But If you have 15K to spend and if you love selfies and MIUI, Redmi Note 5 Pro is best option for you.
But for 11K this device is awesome ( I hate those bugs and camera app but I love this device?)
