Bought a head unit from China and install google service but I'm stuck and couldn't sign in to google.
Can any kind soul here can advise and guide me through?

Hey, i've recently got my new ford fiesta with the above android headunit installed.
The unit is locked and without a google play. The advanced options are blocked and i was wondering if the device can be rooted or unlocked? I found little to no information on the subject.

if you have any app that wants you to rate it on google play you can use it to get the playstore installed and then via browser link get google play services. from there you'll be fine

I can't install/update apps. I tried to install google play services, without success. There is a way to unlock the device?

Android phones sold in the Mainland of China has no Google Apps by default as Google is blocked there. You may search for something like "Google services installer" to install Google services back. Hope this could help you.

Google installer gives error google play services not compatible with this device, it gives constant pop force close. Is there anyone who could add Google Play to Zenfone 3 China Z012DE with or without root ?
hello after reset the phone I noticed that there is no google play store in zte market, so i had to install it on my own from web sources. what is curious google play services were already preinstalled on the phone, as well as installing Play Store was like updating it, but without it the app coudln't be found anywhere on the phone
so any idea what happened to Google Play, and if it is safe to install it from web sorcues, this time it was xda-dev.

It was there before. Since I took new updates of zte market, it isn't there. Not any of Gapps. I used to always install it from there.

Lol it's obviously safe as long as it's APKMirror or xda labs, or places like that.
When I used MiFavor 5 for the first time there was a version of Play Services installed there, but you had to go to Apps and enable it. Also GApps didn't help at all.

@ BurakSefaSenturk, the Google Play app can not be deleted, so you can try to back up and return to factory reset. If you want to download this APP, the office website would be the better choice.

Yes you can delete the Google Play app if you are rooted. You can delete any app if you are rooted, even the calculator, clock...
Hi,
I have one of these http://r.ebay.com/mfgqMf running Android 6.0.1, which has been working fine for about a year. Now there have been some updates to Google Maps, Chrome, Play Store and Play Services, they are not running. Maps opens and closes again, Play Store and Chrome does the same, and Play Services crashes randomly. I contacted the seller to try and get an update to Android 7, and although they shared the update with me, it was corrupt and they recommended to not update the unit anyway.
Has anyone either updated their unit to 7, or found a way to stop the Google apps from crashing? I have managed to prevent Maps and Chrome from updating, but I can't stop Play Store or Play Services updating.

Hi,
No I still haven't got to the cause of the issue. I contacted the ebay seller, who sent me an update file for the unit. It seemed to be corrupt every time they tried to send it, so after trying a repair, it would not install.
Same problem, Allwinner QUAD CORE T3 P3 device, running android 6.0.1, can't open neither Google Play or Google Maps.
Temporary yet annoying solution is to disable app (which restores it to factory version) and enable it again. This helps until it updates again.
The Google Play updates on its own, so you can't control that, but at least google maps will work if you disable auto update.
I have same issue. Temp fix is disabling/uninstalling Google app (not Google play)
EDIT: Set system time for updating from internet, not GPS data. This fixed all issues for me. Google Assistant working as well
