WIFI not working Internal and external storage not visible to my laptop - Lenovo Vibe K4 Note Questions & Answers

Dear All
Please help me urgently I am really going mad.
After downgrading my Lenovo k4 note from MM to LP (A7010a48_S152_160302_ROW), I am not able to access internal storage and SD card from my laptop.
In USB computer connection options when I am
1) connecting to Media device then -> showing CD drive of Lenovo suite, not able to see both internal and external storage in laptop
2) connecting to Camera (PTP) then -> laptop showing DCIM folder and another pic folder of both internal and external storage, but I can transfer only pics & video, still not able to see both storages as an external storage.
I have connected my mobile to other PC and I am surprised that I am able to see internal and SD on other PC. So I have checked with other mobile to connect my PC and surprised again that my Samsung J7 connected to my PC I am able to access both internal storage and external storage. I am using windows 8.1 on my PC.
Further, I am not able to use my phone wifi, my wifi is not connecting to any wifi devices and asking password again and again.

Windows Mobile Phone appear as external HDD

I'm trying to get some accidentally deleted files off of my old (SCH-i760) phone, but it appears as a phone, and not HDD. Though I can browse the files, I cannot use any software to scan it. Is there anything I can do to make it appear as just a plain HDD?
EDIT: Nevermind. I don't know how but I got all the files.
Help too.
I have the same problem i want to know how to mount my internal phone memory as a drive on my pc i cannot find the solution to this anywhere.
Help please
You can't do it.
If it is on a storage card you can connect the card directly in a USB card reader, and mount it as a drive on your PC, but the program and storage memory of the device is another story.
Windows Explorer through Activesync, or Visual Studio's remote file Viewer (ccfilevw.exe), are the only ways to access the storage memory. Both go through Activesync to get to the device, but you do not have the ability to undelete files.

How to access pictures from SD card on PC

I need to copy the pictures from my storage card to my PC, but I am not able to view the contents when my Samsung Galaxy S2 is connected to the PC. the pictures which are in my internal storage card can be viewed, but those in the storage card cannot be.. What settings need to be changed?!
None if you can see the phone via USB mass storage mode you should also see the external sd card as a separate drive .
Try a card reader .

Did you access the pics from phone memory through Mass-Storage-Device or via something like kies (e.g. "Samsung Phone" instead of a real Mass-Storage with a drive-letter)? Try checking the "Developer Mode" in Settings, which lets you connect manually if plugged in and not automatically with MTP.

I don't suppose you set your SD Card as internal memory, did you?
Same problem here
Did you format your SD card as Internal?
Try this
This worked for me.Use sd card adapter, transfer all data to pc. Then place card back in phone(x play). Format and eject from phone( from memory settings, do not physically remove), then mount again. This time pc will read in MTP mode. Transfer back all data from pc.
One more thing switch off and turn back on once after remounting.

Best way to add media to USB drive attached to shield

Can anyone tell me the best way to transfer files to the usb flash drive attached to the shield? I tried accessing the usb drive from my computer network but could only get into the 16gb internal but not my attached usb? Any reasons why?
Hello mmar141, You cannot access the removable storage connected to the Shield over the network, You can access Only the Shield's main storage or the drives that are converted Into Adoptable storage can be accessed over the network!
