no u need to modify kernel for a6000/Plus
camera plugins, and hw,modules and some etc files for Audio.
thn your xiaomi and other msm8916 rom properly rum on a6000/plus

And has there any Nougat Rom come out for the Xiaomi Redmi 2??? Will the AOSP unofficial nougat rom for Xiaomi Mi 2 work on Xiaomi Redmi 2??

they are NOT the same. MI2 was the first xiaomi smartphone. the MI series is the flagship series.

Both are not the same devices. The Xiaomi Mi 2 and Xiaomi Redmi 2 are both different smartphone. Also, you cannot install the Unofficial AOSP based Nougat ROM made for Mi 2 smartphone on Redmi 2. Installing the ROM of other Device may soft-brick your device.
There is no Nougat Based ROM is available for Redmi 2, but there is Marshmallow based ROM available for Redmi 2. Check out the XDA Forum for CM13 ROM for Redmi 2/2A/Prime.

Nougat ROM for Redmi 2/prime is there , Yes , the Work has begun .. Contact Premaca On XDA to know more and Visit his Tesla ROM thread (around page 57 or more) , this is a Work in Progress .. still not Publicly Available , but his Promise Is to deliver it as soon as It gets a Working Environment...

If this device gets a dedicated forum then maybe it development can grow faster because not everyone goes to MIUI Forums because its not that convenient and not everyone can understand it but thats not with XDA

And in MIUI Forums the only development i see is for the China version

Mod will only open subforum if there are actual development for said devices. Also kernel source are required.

There are Unofficial custom twrp recovery and some custom ROMs on other site like 4PDA but I don't find sites genuine as compared to XDA
So I was requesting for the forum because then no one will go anywhere else because everything can be found here
And Redmi 4 is launched on 26th of may in India so i think there not much development of this device
And there is a great confusion because Redmi 3s in india is called Redmi 4 in china and now Redmi 4 is launched in India which is called Redmi 4X in china
I don't know why Xiaomi is doing this
