Xiaomi Redmi Pro Root access - Xiaomi Redmi Pro Questions & Answers

Hi, I have just purchased this phone and I would like root access. I cant find any clear guide for this specific phone. Can anybody provide a guide to root this phone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Just download latest supersu and flash it. Done.

Recovery and root are separate things.
You can flash recovery without root.
Just a heads-up.

Need help with SuperSU! (A6010)

I know this is the A6000/Plus forum but i think this belongs here too.
I rooted my phone using KingRoot and installed SuperSU and it tells me I need a binary file, but I don't understand what to do? Can someone explain to me?

First flash a custom recovery for your phone through "rashr" (you can find it on play store). And then flash the SuperSu zip file containing Super user binaries FROM HERE.
KingRoot, is just a easy method to gain root access, but is not compatible with many apps. Most of the apps require supersu binary files to work.
Can I Flash this supersu on my cm 12.1 ROM.???

You will have to download the factory image and use FlashFire to flash it onto your system. Just follow the links and do what it says.

Thank you very much !
you helped me alot
Once you are done try to reboot into recovery. If it fails, reboot normally and use FlashFire to flash the latest version of TWRP and SuperSu.

Hi...
Well the proper way to root ur opt is to unlock bootloader, flash twrp recovery and flash a proper su root package.
Oxygen 3.5.6 is bit complicated so not sure.
I will not recommend any shortcuts.[emoji106]

If you have already unlocked bootloader and have twrp installed, just flash this SuperSU
