About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices, Cardinal is being built with Uber toolchain, with most of uber optimizations, with full Layers Support and with minimal customization, the main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. Try a Substratum theme, I know Spectrum has a translucent option

Found the material glass thread meanwhile.
But i'm facing another problem: wifi does not work. When i try to switch it on it just jumps back to off and does not find any access point.
edit: maybe i had some problems after changing permissions. After a wipe everything is fine.

Been using this for a while and it' quite stable.
When i'm trying to access developer options the whole device freezes and sometimes i have to reboot.

Video recording is still not working (neither with AOSP camera nor with Google Camera 3.2.045), but the ROM is fantastic!
@GtrCraft would it be possible to implement quick unlock after entering the right PIN ?
Also: portable hotspot is NOT working!

This ROM is very nice, I decided to comeback after being a caf user for such a long time. I must say this ROM is very nice, its super smooth! And its got its own authentic feel to it compared to almost every other android n ROM which pretty much copies each other

Which kernels can be used here, the AOSP ones like Franco or Blu_Spark, or the CAF ones like TrueSight? Or both?

Can anyone explain to me why the sound out the speakers is choppy, crackling, and distorted? No disrespect to any nougat ROM, I just so happen to be using this one because it's my favorite but I'm curious as to why it's doing that and if there's some type of cure?

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also non-AOSP features for a better user experience ("Clear All" button in Recents) and I'm NOT going to add something other.
What is OMS?
OMS (Overlay Manager Service) which was designed by google and its modded by our developers to include it into AOSP ROMs.In short,OMS is a Theme Engine replacement and it can do wonders!

I am the creator of Lunecrash. Kanging ROMs is way past my level. I got ACTUAL GNU/Linux on Mi A3. No Android bull****.

No my man he is on about Linux on Mi A3 not Android. He built a Linux kernel for us to be able to use Ubuntu touch on this device but is having trouble with mobile data.
Crazy good work by him it's absolutely awesome to get rid of Android and use Linux

Remove quick responses in SMS notifications in the curtain. It looks terribly uncomfortable. CrDroid was infuriated with horror.

Please don't mess up the build by customizing it. The request is only big: make a slider for the screen brightness level from the bottom.( not convenient to reach ) And the distance between notifications and settings is fast, I would do less. How do I disable desktop search ?
