Need Nandroid backup of Moto E3 or system.img - Moto E3 Questions & Answers

I accidentally flashed wrog system.img in my Moto E3. Now I can only access twrp recovery and nothing else. So I request other rooted Moto E3 holders to upload a fresh Nandroid backup from their devices or if you have the correct system.img of Moto XT1706 then please upload it or share its link.

Download the XT1706 one, because every website that has XT1700 firmware on it requires a premium membership or a fee.
I'm using XT1706 firmware on my XT1700 and I can confirm it runs fine with no issues.
The only difference is now as the XT1706 is a dual SIM model, and the XT1700 is single SIM, you will have a second SIM showing in your settings that is blanked out.
I wrongly assumed the XT1706 ROM wouldn't work on a XT1700 but the third party device repairer acting on behalf of Motorola reflashed my XT1700 with XT1706 firmware after a failed OTA update.
I can confirm it does work fine with no issues what so ever.
I can also tell you the repairer downloaded the file that is linked in this very thread and flashed it.
I would not recommend doing this yourself, my dad is a senior XDA member and he wasn't sure this would work, but when your device is left in the hands of a professional, you just have to trust them I suppose.....
If you take this route, and I'm not telling you to, im just suggesting it, you need to download and extract the rom file and place the extracted file in the TWRP backup folder and flash that via twrp.
This is what was done to my device.
I know some people are going to doubt what has happened to me, but I have no reason to tell any lies, Motorola offered me a brand new E3 but I chose to have mine repaired as it's only a few weeks old.
The XT1706 E3 power is not available in Europe or the UK, and I can confirm using the Powers firmware in the UK I have no service issues and 4g connection is working perfectly for me.
I have the downloaded and extracted TWRP backup XT1706 file if you want it.
Good luck.
Hope you get sorted ?

Thanks friend I did what you suggested and it worked I used a backup of twrp and restored system from tx1706 backup and phone is running fine I appreciate your help I was crazy trying to look the xt1700 backup

I am very sure. I have sprint over the phone (with Sprint Box) and after SBF, it shows Boost in About Phone.

I do not know what you need to do for CDMA activation on Sprint while you are using Boost ROM. But GSM works just fine

THANKS to all who uploaded this sbf and helped me resurrected my phone! But I am not able to connect to GPRS/3G.. To add an APN (Lebara Australia) I add all details, but after save the APN doesnt show up in the list. Anyone faced this issue?
Thanks,

Hello surfturtle,
My girlfriend has a new BOOST XPRT from a Boost Mobile Store that came with GB 2.3.5, but anytime any of her Brazilian GSM SIM cards connect to their network (we've tried TIM and Vivo SIMs) the phone reboots endlessly. The system version already installed on the phone is: 45.3.15.MB612.Boost.en.US
Thinking about reinstalling the one you posted over it, in case the original one on the phone is messed up and causing the GSM issue. What do you think, and how exactly would I do it?
Cheers,
Matt

YOU SHOULD NEVER DOWNLOAD LIVID!!!!
Livid is AdWare that many download sites use to generate income from clicks. All those "other" Livid download links are just the same link downloading the "LividInstaller.exe" file.
ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE "REAL" DOWNLOAD LINK, USUALLY ACCOMPANIED BY SOME SORT OF TIMER AND CAPTCHA
JUST TO BE CLEAR:
DO NOT CLICK ON ADS HOSTED LIKE THIS ON DOWNLOAD SITES. IF YOU DO THEN YOU ARE ASKING FOR PROBLEMS WITH YOUR COMPUTER, INCLUDING TOOLBARS, CRAPWARE, ADWARE, SPYWARE, MALWARE, ETC!!!!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
@surfturtle: thanks for this file! It was hard to track down
Awesome, thank you so much! Downloading now (40 more minutes haha) hopefully to cure my phone.
All the links seems to be broken, except rapidgator which too seems to be down. Can someone upload the sbf files please.

No mobile data / network after flash

Hello everybody.
I tried to root and flash my A2017G model. I already tried the european and us-version of the images. But with all attemps, my phone does not connect to my mobile carrier. I can search and find my carrier-network, but an attemp to connect fails. I might flashed a wrong modem or something like that. Also I flashed back original boot and recovery and installed A2017_B06 update from ZTE Website, but no change.
Any ideas?
Actually back on A2017G_B03:
Baseband-Version: M8996FAAAANAZM-1.56471.1.60235.1
Kernel-Version: 3.18.20
Build-Nummer: ZTE A2017GV1.0.0B03

Axon 7 flashed to A2017U B29 with TWRP... mobile radio broken
I'm having a similar issue.
So I followed the excellent guides on XDA (with huge thanks to @DrakenFX - who seems to have a hand in all the good tutorials) and flashed A2017U B29 onto my chinese A2017 B07 phone....
Everything was great. I had 4G but not LTE... so I got greedy and tried to be 'clever' and used TWRP to do the following
4- flash B27 bootstack zip
5- flash B29 bootstack zip
6- flash B29 system zip
Now I've lost the ability of the SIm to get the network. And when I look up the IMEI number - there are 2 on the phone!!
Can someone please please help me as I'm a total noob at all this and will need some hand holding from people who know better. I have TWRP on the phone. Much appreciated!

Hi @DrakenFX - thanks for the very helpful guides on unlocking bootloader and TWRP on Axon 7. I unfortunately lost all cellular network radio capability after I installed the BootStack for A2017U B29. Could you please advise me on how to get it working again?? WiFi works fine and I know the SIM card works as I have tried it on another phone
Worried its to do with EFS - really lost and stuck and any help would be appreciated!
I have tried wiping all data, cache, system and installing other ROMs including the new one you've posted with the on-screen nav buttons which installed fine and works - but again no cellular signal.
I have TWRP and unlocked bootloader and I am open to any advice

I think that's your problem. The bootstack zip contains a number of low level partitions. There are differences between the models. While it's generally safe to flash a system/kernel from another region, flashing these low level partitions is not advisable. See if you can get your hands on a full firmware package for your specific device. Actually, that should be step #1 before flashing anything so you have a way of going back in case something goes wrong .
I don't see anything in the guide about flashing b29 on a b07 phone. It also says multiple times to make backups...
Did you fix it ? I had same problem . bu now US and CH rom, on both mobile Internet is working. on US you must setup APN settings by ur self...
and Sim card manager is crashing, open APN settings from Data Usage.
Did you fix this issue? I am in the same boat as you. Please share your experience with resolving this issue.
You just can't recover Imei.
It happens to me too, and ZTE had no choice but to change motherboard with 2 new Imei.
I've tried to flash modem, rewrite imei with DualWriteImei, flash stock, flash modem from LoS ... and much more that i can't remember ATM. ZTE Repair center was my last chance.
Took me 3 weeks for repair in France for free.
PS : Before returning it, i've restored stock and relocked bootloader ... You should do the same

i restored my Moto G4 play to 6.0.1

My model is XT1603.

please be aware that the partitions the op is requesting contain personal, sensitive data, like your google password, and imei, which can not be deleted with a standard recovery wipe. It is not recommended anyone who does no understand what information any partition backup contains, refrain from responding, for your own protection. with the collective partitions the op is requesting, they can have a 100% duplicate of your device, including your personal information.

You should be able to flash from scratch. I bricked my previous XT1580 as well, but was able to get it back up and running (why I love Moto).
Restart in bootloader mode, and go through the flashing process. Use RETEU 5.1. This is the only stock ROM I've been able to reliably flash on the XT1580. Afterwards, you can OTA update to 6.0, install TWRP, then use TWRP to flash L!TE 7.0 ROM. This is the best ROM, bar none.
L!TE is the best option for 7.0 dual SIM functionality on all versions. On the XT1580, the second SIM will only work in 2G. Regardless of if this'll be useful to you (2G availability), this ROM is the best. Stock 7.0 slowed down my charging speed. This ROM boosted it back up to 9V/4A.
For the XT1581, best course of action action is to flash RETMXDS 6.0, flash TWRP, then flash L!TE, using TWRP.
Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

Please describe what you mean by hard bricked in this instance. What shows up when you power on?
The bootloader screen should work even of the entire phone storage is wiped.

LG K8 (2017) or LG x240 bricked

So, i've unlocked the bootloader of the device with the steps that berkantkz posted in this forum. I've followed every step with caution, but when tried to flash the file attached to the thread of the unlocking, an error appeared. Triying to boot on the phone it stayed stuck on the boot logo
And to make the situation even worst, I tried to flash other ROM in the phone (to try to fix the problem) and now the phone don't even power on. The only thing that the phone does it's that a PC detects the phone when I conect it. I've tried the SP Flash Tool, but I've searched the entire internet and I don't find the original firmware of this phone.
Somebody can help me? Or if someone know where to get the original firmware to flash in the SP Flash Tool
Or if the only utility of the phone will be stay as a brick in a house wall
