micromax canvas knight display problem - Micromax Canvas Knight Questions & Answers

Device Name: Micromax Canvas Knight A350
Ok one morning I see my phone display gone black. So i went to the recovery mode, I had philz recovery installed. Well it did boot into recovery and i got a error that "E: can't mount storage" (something like this showed up in two three lines). So i powered off my phone and boot into factory mode. Nothing showed up... it was all black. So i tried again to boot into recovery mode by pressing all three button. Hopefully i got the mssg of choosing recovery mode or factory mode. But when i went into recovery mode it didnt start, the screen was black. I don't get the charging logo either. All i get is the option to choose recovery or factory mode after pressing all three buttons. (no use choosing any because i will again get the black display):crying::crying:
I had miui 8 installed (version 6.7.5). I had done nothing in mobile the night before except some few downloads.
Thanks in advance

Seems like the same PCB issue as I had..
But before that let's just clarify it.
Umm...try clean flashing stock ROM through sp flash tools.

stuck in recovery mode

Hi!
I ve a problem with my HTC Magic.
This afternoon i want to flash a net ROM on my phone. But i wanted to crate a backup first, so i booted the amonra 1.2.3 recovery image with fastboot boot recovery-RA-magic-v1.2.3H and every thing worked fine , created a back up with nandroid. then i restarted the phone after then i restated it. But id doesent start normaly. It shows th HTC Magic logan then a shot black and the again the logo. After that a warning sign is showed(I figures out that this is the recovery mode). if i restart the phone i always come to the recovery mode. No Fastboot or other.
When i select apply updete.zip in recovery mode i only get the message: no sginature ,verification failed and Cant read MISC(no space left). and thats it.
I have a HTC Magic 32A the SPL was that one with the 09 in the end.
So i have no idea what gone worng and if i can revover my phone.
Can anyone help me??
dekilla
You should be most likely able to recover you phone.
If you take the battery out, then insert it again, then press the back-button and the call-end-button, it won't boot to fastboot? Maybe try volume down + power on, too? It sounds pretty weird...

Hi
I ve tried fastboot, hboot but nothing happend
Is there any update.zip which could work? I think this is my only chance.

Stuck on LG logo

Hi, today for the first time I tried to flash a custom rom
at the ROM installation guide it said that I must have TWRP 2.7, so I installed that and wiped Dalvik cache, cache, system and data.
Did not touch internal storage.
I rebooted because I felt kinda lost at the baseband part. but now it's stuck on the LG logo, with the LED light working with rainbow colors (like the phone always does when I turn it on, but it has no OS now..)
I tried getting into recovery/download mode with no success, what can I do now?
How can I get back into recovery mode?
Hope someone can help :fingers-crossed: Thanks!

make sure your phone is powered off entirely and then
How To Reboot Recovery - LG G2
1.Turn your phone off.
2.Press volume down and power button until the LG logo comes on screen
3.Let go of both buttons
4.Hold the volume down and power buttons again until you see the "hard reset screen"
5.Press power once and then power again to confirm. The screen says it will reset your device but it will not as long as you have a custom recovery installed.
6.Your custom recovery should appear on screen.
If that doesn't work then you are going to have to go back to stock
I tried going back to stock but no success, the software is not recognizing the phone...
I also looked for videos on youtube, but couldn't find someone with simillar problem to mine.
Nevermind, figured it out.

If you don't mind. What did it for you? Once I install CWM or TWRP, I can boot to recovery by cannot get the system to boot - EVER - without getting stuck at the LG LOGO. The only way I can recover at that point is to use the LGFlashTool and start from scratch.
Thanks!

Note 3 stuck on recovery boot

Hi guys, I just recently attempted to root my Note 3 using CF-Auto-Root however after downloading and installing using my version (SM-N900T since I have tmo) it is stuck at a screen saying
RECOVERY BOOTING....
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
SET WARRANTY BIT: RECOVERY
It seems that I cannot leave this boot screen to get into download mode and the device will not boot into android so I am at a loss of what to do. My computer does not see the device when I plug it in.

Remove battery, wait 10 seconds replace battery and
hold down the volume down+power+home key at the
same time. Then the phone will go into download mode.
I have 4 sprint Note 3's I rooted with CWM for all 4 but one is "stuck" at recovery like this any time I turn it on it always tries to boot into recovery and gets stuck.
I can get into download mode. will cf auto root fix this? (trying to avoid a full odin restore)
the only thing different about this sprint note 3 that I am aware of is that its flashed to boost (if that matters it should not matter)
the other 3 went flawlessly. yes I tried to odin the cwm root a second time no change.
Thanks!!!
Thanks for the link. Just unboxed the note 3 (sprint) with version 4.3 and followed qbking77 and it was stuck on that same screen (tried it 3 times).
Your link saved me. :good::good::good:
I wonder why qbking's didn't work ... it always has in the past.

Why didn't you use the specific file for your device (Note 3 Sprint): http://download.chainfire.eu/362/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-hltespr-hltespr-smn900p.zip
thought I was...
Maybe I'm getting dumber, or maybe it's getting more confusing to root. Seems like there's a crap load of how to root this device pages and it takes a long time to figure out which one actually works. Then once I find it, I'm faced with dead links to the downloads.
I read on many posts and comments that everyone is able to boot in download mode. My Note 3 just stuck on recovery boot and I can't get it to boot in download mode. I tried all of the suggestions about pressing three buttons, removing battery etc.
Does anyone know solution for when you can't get into download mode?
Thanks
Do you have access to a USB jig?

i know this thread is old....but sometimes i have to access download mode, and then chose cancel in order for it to boot. usually from recovery when i tap reboot system, it brings me back to recovery. so i have to pull the battery and button combo to download mode then cancel. does this issue have any familiarity?
Someone please help I have a Samsung note edge that I just reset through the menu settings backup and reset option and phone turned off but did not fully come back on its just sitting on black Samsung Screen and on top left corner it says recovery booting set warranty bit : recovery in blue and yellow letters and I am able to got into the download screen but I press volume down just to cancel and reboot and stars coming on but gose back to same black Samung screen. Like i said I did not try rooting it or any such thing.
Wrong forum this is not EDGE model .
Download mode and flash stock rom through Odin is generic advice .
"Recovery Booting" Bootloop fix
A few months ago, my rooted Galaxy Note 3 (sm-n900t) was force closing and freezing my apps often. So I decided to boot into recovery to clear device cache. The 'recovery booting' would appear on the screen with the logo, but after 7 seconds it would reboot normally instead of opening recovery(I had version 3.2.3.0). So I did reboot recovery with Rom Toolbox and it began bootlooping with the message:
Recovery Booting....
Set Warranty Bit : recovery
It wouldn't boot normally, in recovery or download mode.
STEPS TO FIX:
1.) Let phone Bootloop until completely dead
2.) On PC downloaded (2.8.7.0) twrp file for device from twrp.me/devices
3.) Press and hold volume down + home + power until phone reboots into download mode.
4.) Plug device into PC USB where drivers are loaded.
5.) Start Odin or Samsung Tool z3x flashing tab
6.) Load twrp in AP or PDA section and flash
7.) Phone should reboot normally!

CM13, 20151231, TWRP, black screen every mode

Hi,
3 days ago I made an update of my Galaxy S5 to CM13, with factory reset.
It was working.
This morning I found new update for 20151231 so as it is still fresh rom, I decided to perform an update.
I chosen "UPGRADE" and right after it, screen became black and gave some vibrations when I touched it.
Since then, I cannot turn it on. There is vibration and quick flash on screen after trying to power normal way or recovery mode or download mode,
but screen is black.
It is visible in Windows and it is installing properly, but it is not visible in ODIN.
I was trying to enter download mode with vol down+home+power 5 sec and vol up after it, but it is still not visible in ODIN.
Can someone help me what to do?
It is really bad gift for New Year's Eve.
Try flashing recovery again using fastboot.
Copy 30.12.15 CM13 to SD, boot to TWRP and flash the ROM.
Hope it helps.

Hi, Joe to run into fastboot mode without seeing anything?

if all else fails? Recovery bootloop issue.

here my issue.. so I'm using cm12.1 on my Canadian gaxaly note 3, and Im trying to reset my phone, which I thought would be just fine if I went to settings, then hit reset data function. in which it rebooted my phone, and tried to take me into recovery for whatever reason (likely to reset the phone..?) and its almost stuck there. it flashes like it tries to boot recovery and shows the team win logo for 2 seconds then shuts off and then displays the team win logo for 2 seconds and etc. etc, I tried to get it to download mode with no cigar, whatever button combination I do it always ends up booting recovery. cant turn it back on or anything. I plug it into my computer and it seems to not recognize it. I'm with virgin mobile right now and it's an almost 2 year old phone (got it the day after black Friday), so I'm guessing I'm out of luck for the manufacturer and the virgin mobile's help. Anyway I can fix the issue? any help would be appreciated.
Do you have access to a USB jig for force the phone into download mode?
What happens when you try to boot into download mode? Are you holding down the volume down, power and home button long enough?

Flash "CWM/Philz" recovery for your phone model and go-to recovery mode by some step:
1. Pull out batery.
2. Push in again.
3. Press "volume up + home + power" and wait ~5second.
4. You in recovery mode
I recommend flashing 2.8.7.1 TWRP if you can get into download mode in order to flash another ROM. CWM is outdated and no longer being updated.
If you want to flash back to stock, grab the latest stock ROM from sammobile.com.
