Hello, just a Quick Q: will I trip Knox if I will install this FW as I forgot all about installing fw on samsung phones? I will want to install through Odin and my Phone fw/csc is on build G930FXXS1BPJ1/G930FXU1BPHJ currently .

Don't try on SM-G930W8, a bit of difference even though GSM devices. I guess T-Mobile's FW are flashable on W8 but no guarantee.

We're talking G930F only here. It's not available for the G930FD yet. Confirm if G930F FW can be flashed on FD too, and then try flashing.

I wanted to ask something maybe foolish but I read on another kind of duplicate thread that there is UK version for 930f and an CH version if I'm right... I suppose this is the UK one no ? and if I want to revert to the previous fw I just have to flash to old fw and thats it or I can't revert from Nougat as it was on some old android version ?
Thank you in advance.

Android Nougat for G935FD (Australia)

Hi there, just wondering does any Australian users who own G935FD flashed the Nougat beta firmware? Does it perfectly work with any carriers? And will I still receive OTA afterwards? Cuz I really want to try the new rom but couldn't find any official stock as backup. Many thanks

4) Official firmwares - flash via Odin. http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
I'm on Nougat Beta 1 flashed via odin. Definitely recommend.
Next time, please read the forum title before posting. As you can see this forum is for news&discussion NOT q&a.
I am an Australia user who flashed Nougat beta 1 as soon as it came out. Haven't had any real problem with it. It has minor bugs here and there but its good enough for my daily driver.

No I flashed a generic XSA CSC from the latest Marshmallow official firmware. Download and extract from the zip on Sammobile. This was an attempt to get Samsung Pay working, but it looks like they're disabled it for Nougat regardless of the CSC.

Serious help needed for s7 edge. Calling all the senior developers and members.

I have an s7 edge (G935W8) which is from canada. I am using it in india right now. I want to get volte working on my device which from searches i've found that i need to have indian firmware installed on my phone.
So i tried several firmwares, MM and N also, but no luck with odin. It is giving errors straight away ( repartition operation failed and oltht). Tried different firmwares, only ap and csc, repartition ticked and unticked and all the stuff that i've founded on the internet.
I don't want to root, i want only official Indian firmware on my S7 EDGE from CANADA (SM-G935W8).
Please guys help me out with that. I want it done.

So many videos out there for the other countries for changing the csc. Why not for canadian one?
because G935W8 have csc for canadian carriers, not same csc as G935F the international one

Yes, you can get back to the stock firmware from custom ROM. All of the stock firmwares/os are here: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and can be flashed with odin, resetting the phone to factory default state, i.e. as you buy it now and without any info on it. No matter if it was custom ROM or not before that.

Depends on the model. If on the site there is canadian firmware for that model of the s7 - can be done via odin. If the phone is specific and there is no canadian firmware - can't be done.

Whats the easiest method to switch from XEU to BTU ?
Tried flashing a different CSC first using repartition option, it just fails, tried flashing BTU, but it's multi CSC so it just flashes to XEU again
I received the OTA update last night. The one feature that seems to be absent is Bixby, at least I can't find a reference anywhere, for better or worse...
Any idea what happened to the Memo app in Oreo? Newer phones ship with Samsung Notes. Not sure if the 2 are compatible with each other.

I have updated through Odin many times and various Samsung phones and always without any problems. Moreover, by Odin never trip knox 0x1, so the warranty is valid on, so if there are problems, you can reclamation and the reclamation should be recognized.

You can flash the last available firmware from UK and you will get the OTA update instantly.
I intalled the last UK(BTU) firmware (using odin and samfirm) and i got oreo without any problems.

When I changed to BTU back in 7.0 beta, I just flashed the whole official rom, but whatever difference there is between XEU and BTU will be lost in the process. Maybe try with a different release.

Help me identify the correct FW to flash/update to Pie 9.0

I have an Sprint Samsung S8. I want to update to Android Pie 9. Its currently on Android 8.0.0 - R16NW.G950USQU5CSA4. And I want to flash with Odin to any compatible Android Pie FW. I am personally not looking to unlock or anything. The confusing part is that when I research the FW version (G950USQU5CSA4) it comes as a Verizon FW. So I am not sure if is safe to flash any of the Pie FW available on sammobile for Sprint.
It is safe to flash for example to one like G950USQU5DSD3 that appears in Sammobile and is for Sprint?

For any newbie like me who ever had a look at this thread. This definitely work as said by @kpwnApps, I downloaded SM-G950U, build G950USQU5DSD3 (3.92GB) from Sammobile and flashed with Odin. Flashed AP, BL, CP, CSC (not CSC_HOME) on its respective place on Odin. 5m 32s later it was updated with no trouble.
