some says that they got 3mb or 8mb update
Id didn't get any update from the moto

Got the update the same day I received the phone.

Reset you device.
You may get OTA updates.
I suggest you not to update 8mb or 3 mb OTA .
After getting update your will face default phone app's lag problem.
I write on Lenovo forum. But Lenovo (Moto) Engineer didn't solve it.
I got 3mb ,8mb ,22mb (Android security patch on 5th October 2015) OTA update but some serious bug issues like battery draining, Both charges problems, default app bug related issue, proximity sensor, heating etc. I have faced.

Motorola Update Services updated. Firmware update possible ?

Today I've got an update of Motorola Update Services on my Moto E LTE in Poland.
As I remember this might be a preparation to Software Update, which might be pushed several days / weeks later.

It looks like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/general/update-zuk-cyanogen-t3325914
It's a big update that introduces March security fixes and also a gyroscope bug. Luckily, if you update, you'll receive another OTA with the fix for that.
what's your current build version now?
i want to go back to that version to see if that update gives me bad battery life

NPNS25.137-35-5 Is this the most recent update ?

Hi!
This is my first post, I own a Moto G5 plus 64GB Storage and 4GB RAM, model XT1687 . I bought my phone at Amazon and I have recently upload to NPNS25.137-35-5 Firmware update, my question is : is this the most update the framework ?
Thanks for all , this is a great community
I believe there was a - 67 variant available in some areas which only includes minor bug fixes and security patches. But no major updates or nougat 7.1
The only information that I've found about this update is on the Motorola (Lenovo) forums at:
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Moto-G...5-OTA-update-just-received-in-US/td-p/3730072
(last 2 messages are most informative)
I'm not sure that it's really worth the effort (yes, my G5 is rooted) to take this update. I just froze Motorola Update Services so that I wouldn't get nagged about the update every hour.

Update???

I received an update for my yoga tab 2 days ago. Strange considering I was already running Android 7.1
The update was about 1.6GB and installed without a problem.... My only question is...... What did it DO/FIX???
Anyone know?

Knowing anything about the update I do not! But I want to confirm:
Yesterday, on April 19th 2020, I recieved and downloaded and obviously successfully installed a new update.
My build number now is "YT-X703L_S120015_200317_ROW". Still Android 7.1.1, security patch level 01 May 2018.
Sadly I didn't check the number before the update ...
Exactly

It's odd to receive an update that doesn't include A RECENT security patch. The not said "but fixes" but didn't give any details and had no new features.... So I'm questioning why the update was rather large if it only had a few bug fixes
Received an update notification, but reluctant to install. Do you have any issues or battery drainage after update? Is it stable? Is there a change log available? Can't find any info abou this on other forums.
Nope

Performance is about the same.... Maybe a little snappier than before. Battery seems a little worse but that may be the 2 year old battery degrading. Other than that I can't tell any difference.
