Good night, dudes!
I own a Moto X Style - XT1572 (Brazilian) and tried to flash some roms developed recently (AICP, SlimLP, SlimSaber, OrionLP, even EU Stock) and absolutely NONE of them could read my SIM card.
Some of them (SlimSaber and EU Stock) pointed there was "No SIM card", even though the SIM Toolkit is there in the app drawer!
While the other ROMs (AICP and OrionLP) just had no signal at all and keeps showing "Emergency Calls Only - No Service".
Am I missing something? Config, patch, file?
Is there a Stock Brazilian ROM already for download?

It contains ROM for the T1572, the Brazilian version should be the one that has RETLA_DS in the name

It worked. It is, indeed, the Brazilian ROM, dual sim.
But now I got curious... the EU XT1572 can use most part of the ROMs developed until now... why the BR version can't? Are they so different?
No problem. As for the difference I have no idea.
Guys, I just flashed this image RETLA_DS, and it gets stuck on the bootloader.
Flashed 3 times already, and still stucked on the bootloader.
What do I do, please?

Thanks, bro! I figured out what was wrong. The DS version has one more system file than the usual 9. I didn't ser it and, thus, didn't flash it.
Sorry for the false alarm! Everything is perfect now. Thanks for this. Saved my life too.

Hi guys, is there any news on this one? I'm facing the exact same problema with the exact same version of hardware.
If any developer can help, I'm happy to test any fix you can provide.
So, 'till now:
- Flash CW 14 from here: http://www.cyanogenmods.org/forums/topic/update-moto-x-pure-cm14-cyanogenmod-14-nougat-7-0-rom/
- I'm follow the steps of page and download the last build from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=profile&uid=95897840722645866 (cm-14.1-20161127-UNOFFICIAL-clark.zip)
- Clean install with TWRP;
- Factory reset; -> No sim detected
- Flash marshmellow modem from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...odem-flashable-modem-files-eu-single-t3297051 -> No sim detected
so that it is... just say a word and I'll try my best.

Just tried the last Lineage lineage-14.1-20170306-nightly-clark-signed.zip and still not recognized my sim card =/
Lets get back to stock and wait Moto/Lonovo release a oficial one.
Lenovo has relised Marshmallow update for Lenovo vibe k5 plus but only aveliable in Brazil. My question is how I can update my phone. As you have already probably guessed I don't live in Brazile thus manual update is the only way but how? As far as my knowledge goes phone shouldn't be rooted because we are talking about official rom, but where I can download it? And how to set phone to update from SD card or internal memory and not via wi-fi?(couldnt find that option on my phone, I found it easily on other phones but on k5 plus it is simply not there)Also this is not breaking my varantee right?
And yeah I am kinda newbee here so step by step quide would be nice.

Hello. I installed the update from the link above without rooting.
Just installed the latest TWRP for K5 plus (available in this forum), then used the recovery image as stated in the link above.

You can also download the ROM on @Shreps website (https://moto.shreps.fr) :
- Lenovo Vibe K5
- ROM
- Stock firmware
- choose the Zip with "S105" in the name
And then flash it with qfil (you can find guides on this forum).
Just one thing : I'm not sure that you will keep your warranty with this as this version is not for Europe or Asia but only South America I think. You will need to reflash an older version if you want to use your warranty.

So it is for XT1663. Are you sure we can use in XT1662?

I have read in russian forum that flashing eu version with xt1662 rom would lose imei. How can i known flashing xt1662 with xt1663 rom will not be wrong?
I buyed my phone on ebay. Model is xt1662 but some system apps version is 6.0_xt1663_s096..... seller told me is a Chinese version but prepare to overseas... what do you think? Do you have the same and tried it?

IMEI issue
I live in Canada, I got this xt1662 from China. No luck with installing google play at all. The xt1663 rom works for the xt1662 phone, however, the IMEI is not working at all. I cannot make phone call at all.
I have the same problem, could you solve it?
Apparently it's a matter of luck ... My moto M that came from China does not have any problems with the iMEI. I'm sorry if you had problems, I'm going to remove this software from here :/

Don't remove it if it works for the XT1663, just remove the XT1662 par from the title and the posts.

Please don´t do it! - The Nougat 7.0 firmware for XT1663 (xt1663_usr_s356_1706211351_mp7V1-ROW) works very well on the XT1662! Including mobile phone network connection.
After flashing firmware the only thing is, your have to write back your IMEI´s to the NVRAM. Use the tool maui meta & the right modemdb file to find the right address pointers (= nvram database). A generic MTK 6750 modem database file are perfect, because the xt1662 & xt1663 uses a higher clock variant of thr cpu (MTK6755). Please take time and search for the right quides. It is very easy to do it
If you do not know your two IMEI´s please have a look on the shipping package. There is a label with your IMEI´s.

Hello, try to flash this rom with the flashtool and now it does not turn on, either in fastboot mode but the pc does recognize it although it does not install the rom correctly.

Same Issue, got the phone from GB in China, now after flashing it won't connect to Fido or Bell, how you got it fixed, cause I haven't
I flashed xt1663 fw in xt1662, but erased imei and maui meta dont recognize the cell. Baseband is unknown.
Very good, yerstaday I flashed my xt1662 this firmware. Yes, IMEI erased. I did backup nvram.img and nvdata.img
and flashed it back after install Android 7. Work done. Previous Android 6 is suxx.
I can write link for restoring IMEI.

my device is XT1662, after flash
XT1663_S371_171109_ROM
after flash with SP flashtool v5.1616.00.000 and latest mtk drivers, flash done all partitions.
This rom xt1663 working perfect in xt1662

Lenovo India has stopped all updates for Indian Z2 Plus.
So, Its only ZUK updating ZUI for Chinese models..
Indian ZUI was only Chinese ZUI with GApps and Theme Engine removed.
ZUI 3.1 is released. There are Stock Recovery flashable as well as, TWRP Flashable builds!

Thanks a lot. Is this an official, confirmed info or a rumor? I'd really like to see global/Indian ZUI 3.1. I'm on CN ZUI 3.1 at the moment. Uninstalled all bloat but still getting notifications on Chinese sometimes. English only would be a blast!

Ok, learnt from other threads that for India ZUI baseband is M8996FAAAANAZM-1.76387.1.92759.1
This is the one which is to be used in case one has issues of Jio to Jio calls ending abruptly.
Update.script package ...anyone having to flash zui 2.0.111 from TWRP Recovery.
Please someone tell me the flashing process

I thought i would try to get lineageos 17.1. on it
Started the updgarde to EMUI 5. FOund stock rom. Although it updated, I think it was wifi only verison, lost the dialler and the ability to rotate.
Tried to find stock rom to go back. Only version i can see MediaPad M3 Marshmallow Firmware BTV-DL09C100B009
I have reverted to tis image but still have no rotation. Assuming it's not the right version. Think theses are JPN versions.
I really need to get this back to correct version 4.1 and then at some point upgrade to correct version of emui 5.
If somebody could point me in the right direction with correct files. The bootloader currently locked, i can unlock it but havent done so yet...
