Can't flash multi-language rom - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I tried to reply to the actual thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3486600 but I'm too new so it won't let me.
I've followed everything in this blog post and to me it looks like it all worked. ADB works, fastboot goes away and spends 4-5 minutes copying stuff and it says reboot and clear data..
I've done all that and all I get is the normal stock Chinese/English rom.
Has anyone got any ideas.
Thanks
Ben

Disregard
Sorry, if a mod can delete this post please do, just realised I'd downloaded the stock rom to fastboot, not the other one. Didn't realise there were 2 different versions of the stock rom.
Will try the other one tomorrow and see how it goes.

I managed to download the ROM from
https://mega.nz/#!0ZYUUDCL!0oTIS-PyOMvKOLaPBHd1Ye1-M3RMaFtalDi_w6EsZYM
which worked perfectly.... I didn't realise the file I originally downloaded was a stock ROM designed to be flashed using Fastboot. I miss read it and thought that the one you renamed to update.zip was stock and the other was multi language.
Soon after posting on here I thought I'd double check and found my mistake.
I've managed to flash away from the stock ROM and everything is working perfectly for me now..... Other than Android pay, but otherwise I'm loving my phone.

[Q] Factory image removed because unstable?

Hi All,
i received my device 7 days ago. The Devices worked perfectly.
Yesterday, i deciced to test the Canogenmod Nightly for about one day and then i want to revert back to stock. i downloaded the Image using Nexus 4 Toolkit, i flashed it manually with the flash-all.bat. I never flashed a custom Recovery, only temp-booted it with fastboot.
But after restoring the Stock rom - it is very unstable, Lots of warm reboot (X bootsplah during usage or idle mode) unstable WIFI.
so i think Google removed the Factory Image because of it (and the LTE Story, of course).
maybe someone took a full backup from the original supplied rom, (GSM Europe)
Any help would be appreciated .
Thanks
Edit: i tested with both Factory Image (4.2 and 4.2.1)
Isn't the stock rom what was on your phone before you flashed (and was fine)?

there must be somthing different, I didn't took a full Backup from the Original preinstalled ROM, because i thought:" i don't care, if i want to revert to stock ROM, i can download it..."
i think, i learned my lession
I have used the stock images available at phantasmagoria twice and they are perfectly stable.
Hi estallings15,

Flashing New Rom (Solved)

Hey guys, I am having trouble flashing a new rom onto my phone. I used to flash my Galaxy S3 almost every day, and for some reason, I am having trouble with the S4. I have rooted it, and installed Team Win Recovery Project v2.5.0.2 and sometimes the Rom will flash and work, like PA worked first time, so did MIUI Rom, but trying Most of the others they either say failed, or... they go through the whole installation process through the Recovery for Android Revolution HD, and then it boot loops, take battery out, put back in and wipe everything and it just stays on the first Samsung Logo and that's it.
Is there something I am missing?
I am wiping eveyrthing as well before I do it.
Any help will be really appretiated
Thanks

My bad lol, in work and was typing fast.
Basically, when I flashed ParanoidAndroid on my phone, and it worked great, then I changed it to MIUI which worked great,
then I decided to Flash Omega Rom, which was fine, but the WIFI doesn't work for me.
So I tried to Flash Android Revolution and it goes through the Installation Process with no problems and goes into Boot Loop, even though I have done a full wipe of the device.
I am in the middle of Flashing Android Revolution now, for the 3rd time, and it has been on 10% installation for 10 minutes. This is all it says at the moment...

Sorted, thanks anyway.
Just incase someone else is in the same situation,
All I did was take the battery out for 30 minutes or around that time, and just flash the rom, I didn't wipe or anything else, just flashed and done.
For people having Wifi issues, flash a different Kernel like Adam Kernel, that seems to work for me.

Problem with OP2 after brick

Hello,
I have a problem with my OP2. And I hope you might be able to help me with it. The main problem is that I am not able to get fingerprint and camera + flashlight wirking at the same time, at any ROM. I have tried a lot of different ROMs but non of the seem to work. In all the cases it is either the fingerprint that works, or the camera + flashlight. I didn't have this problem before the brick.
All of the problems started when I my phone got bricked. I used a recovery tool (Qualcomm) in order to get it working again( with TWRP recovery). But when I installed OOS 2.2.1, only the camera and flashlight work.
But when I install OOS 3.0.x, and afterwards CM 13, the fingerprint works, but not the camera and flashlight. I have tried everything I can think of at this moment. For example I have tried to changed the kernel. I have installed the recoveries and ROMs in different orders. But at the moment I have no idea how I can get it working properly again.
I hope you are able to help me out,
Rhardof
i think you should restart your device
What Rly? Restart the device?
Anyway why dont you use the stock images that are posted here and flash then over fastboot the komplett device every Single Image?

How to install Cyanogenmod?

Very confused about the process of installing Cyangenmod on my phone. How do I install the unlocked firmware?
You may just want to wait if you are asking these questions. CM is still in alpha stages anyways, not everything is working for it to be a daily driver imo.

That is because you cannot do it that way which is why you bootlooped. The CM threads speak of this numerous times. You need to RUU the US developer, then FLASH a Sprint variant ROM (like Bad Boys), then wipe and install CM which will work. The other option is to just use the developer edition with SuperCID/MID and then CM will work without flashing back to Sprint ROM's. I would go with the first option as you will gain better LTE as you wont be on Sprint's "global" connections.

PM me
Sent from my HTC 10 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Such a shame this thread went to PM. It seems like it would have been good basic information for experienced flashers whom are new to the HTC world. I came from the Galaxy S5 (SM-900R7 nTelos variant), and had been testing out LineageOS 14.1 on it (as an update to CM13, which I was building myself). This thread would have been helpful to help flash the HTC10 version. Still learning it. Quite different from the Samsungs, for sure!
would someone mind either posting in the thread or PM me back with a link or guide, step by step how to install Cyanogenmod. I have rooted a few Samsung phones before, but once I have them rooted and running stable I usually leave them alone...point being I have not rooted a phone in two years....
I'll be getting my HTC 10 Sprint phone tomorrow, so I would love a full step by step how to root, install twrp and finally how to install the ROM...BTW I used to run a ROM called liquid smooth....does that ROM still exists?
Is Cyanogenmod the best most stable ROM for the HTC 10 Sprint?
Im going to help the community as much as i can lol i'm going to start a separate thread on how to install Lineage sometime this weekend when i have time ..mind you this is my first time starting one so bare with me.
I can't seem to find the instructional thread..? I've been rooting & flashing HTC phones since the HTC 4G LTE, but this thing is a different beast entirely. I've unlocked via HTC Dev, installed unofficial TWRP 3.0.3-9, flashed the custom SU, & installed Viper (did all that from stock N). Viper is definitely super solid, but I've always preferred the CM/AOSP platform. I've wiped the internal like I've done a thousand times & flashed Lineage + gapps (arm64). the phone boots & gets to the lineage boot animation & sits there indefinitely. I let it sit for almost an hour, & obviously it wasn't going to boot.
What am I missing, guys? Any & all help will be greatly appreciated.
any ideas?

They dont have any roms built for the CDMA 10, notice there are no CM or AOSP roms in the SPrint htc 10 rom section. It probably didn't boot completely cause of a kernel mismatch.
there are people in the LOS thread saying they're on Sprint running it. I just can't follow their methods, which is why I was hoping for a tut.

That's all you need. Must be S-off. Rename to 2PS6IMG.zip and place on root of ext SDcard. Reboot to Download mode and accept the prompt to flash the file. Reboot back to recovery, make the proper wipes and flash ROM & Gapps. Reboot and enjoy AOSP/LOS!

Correct. You must be S-Off to do this. Put the .zip file, named 2PS6IMG.zip, on the root of your ext sd card, reboot to bootloader and flash it. After successfully flashing that file, you'll be able to run AOSP without issue. Like you said, download and flash. Enjoy! ?

What do you mean by it just stays open. Do you mean it never boots? Like a bootloop? If so, search 7.0 ROMs bootloop, you'll find the solution, tons of threads on the help and q&a here. But if you don't mean what I just explained then could you clarify?
Sorry for not being clear, i dont think it is bootloop. It boots into the rom no issues and i can use it normally and doesn't restart till a few minutes no matter what rom i flash.

If I were you I would flash back to stock and make sure you you don't have a hardware problem, If nothing else it's a chance to start over. I haven't gone to custom roms for these reasons, mine is my daily driver to and I can't afford to get caught without it.

No worries. Yeah I don't know what the issue could be, could be a ROM issue, it's weird though, but like the poster above me, it could be hardware failure and flashing stock would be a good way to find out.

I agree that they are a little hard to follow, I looked at them myself and it looks like the quickest way would be to go back to 6.0 and upgrade back to 7. But someone else could correct me on that.
For future reference, it's best to always twrp backup your stock rom before doing any kind of major changes especially custom roms. That way you can always fall back to original if something goes wrong.

Alright if you wanna go the custom ROM route, don't update to stock 7.0, not many custom ROMs work with it's new firmware. I'll get you a guide to go back to stock 6.0 then!
Edit: Alright @Philo0o, here's a good page with all the firmware links for your phone, and the commands to flash the firmware are there for you. Let me know if you have any questions about that.
Also, when your ROMs aren't working, what are you doing to try again? what I mean is you could try a full data format in twrp. Not just a wipe of data, system, etc.. A full format isn't quite like going back to stock, but it may help if there are leftovers somewhere causing issues if that makes sense.
so if you wanna try a full format, backup your internal storage to a computer, or to an sd card, and then format, and then you will have a clean slate, move what you need back over to your phone and voila!
Ill look through that tutorial, and whenever i flash a rom i do a full a wipe
