Using with a SlimPort adapter - YotaPhone

Has anyone used a SlimPort adapter to connect to a TV? I wonder if you get true 1080p @ 60Hz.
Also, is there a specific adapter model that you have to get to guarantee that it'll work? I'm thinking about getting this one:

}

As you can see in THIS article, SlimPort has 36 bpp color depth, resolution of 1080r / 60 frames per second and average rate of data transmission of 480 Mbit/second .

I have connected using a cheap eBay slimport adapter . The adapter worked with my LG G2 as well. I can't confirm the resolution you seek however.

I'm completely thrilled that this phone is packed with EVERYTHING. First I was a little sad when I saw that it doesn't support MHL.. Then I read about this slimport thingy here and understood that slimport is basically the same (you just need different adaptors)

Apart slimport in device specification mentioned is "3.5mm AV connector" .
AV means Audio-Video?
So is there RCA support too (like in Galaxy S or Nokia 808 pureview)?

Wireless powerpoint presentation from i-mate JAM through BT

Tremendous thanks to those who enable me to upgrade the ROM to version 1.11, which allows me to select the bluetooth com port.
I am now able to deliver powerpoint presentations (1024 x 768 resolutions) remotely from my i-mate JAM through a bluetooth device iGo Pitch Duo produced by Mobility Electronics.
All I need to do is:
1. Plug the vga cord of the LCD projector into Pitch Duo (with a bluetooth USB adaptor)
2. Power on the Pitch Duo
3. Run iPresent on my pocket PC, at a distance of up to 10 m from the projector.
I had been frustrated because of buying this product then to realise that it does not work on my i-mate JAM of older ROM versions.
Wow, that sounds great. But 329€... hmm.

They claimed it would be available for 279$, meaning 215€... that sounds fair to me. But well, this way they won't get me as customer.

sadly their SD version seems to be palm only.

Send a signal through mini-sub

EDIT: Oh damn, I meant mini-USB not sub xD
Hi!
I'm new to this forum, but I'm not new to Windows mobile. I have a Canon 40D and I don't want to spend $300 for a remote controller so I want to make one myself. Now I found how to close a shutter on my canon 40D with a serial port:

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(Full article: http://www.covingtoninnovations.com/dslr/CanonRelease40D.html)
But now the problem is: I don't have a serial port on my HTC Tytn. Now I have 2 choises:
One: I've found that mini-USB cannot send a RTS signal. I've found then a miniUSB to serial adapter: http://www.usbgear.com/computer_cab...&cats=199&catid=482,1303,199,461,106,1009,601
But can I connect that adapter to my HTC and send a signal to usb so the serial port can send out a RTS signal? Or do you need some specials drivers for that? I can program with C# but i'm not a pro so I can't program any drivers for my HTC
Two: Can I make the mini-USB port, on my HTC, trigger a relay? (I've also found this: http://www.soft82.com/download/mobile/relay-timer-ppc/ but you'll need a relay board for this that costs $120 and like I said i don't want to spend that money.)
Thx for help, but if you don't know how to manage that, it's no problem.
PS: sry for my english

Will we be unable to do HDMI out and use a controller since they use the same ports?

HDMI out is MHL; controllers are USB OTG. I believe it's a hardware limitation that the two can't be used together, unfortunately. But nothing stopping you from using a wireless one (if there's one that works).

Yes that's what I meant with this only apply to GSII. I guess only a bluetooth controller would work though.
I think that the MHL-adapter will have an micro-USB port on it. It looks like it will on these pictures as well:

But I don't really have any reliable source to that.
The Micro USB port on the side of the adapter lets you charge your phone while in use.

[Q] I need to do MHLkablo schema

I need to do MHLkablo schema or doccument
We speak English on this forum.. You are looking for a MHL Cable Schematic as defined here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_High-definition_Link correct?
Here is a partial schematic in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088234 You may find more by searching for a Mobile High Definition Link Pinout.
What is your goal?
As an example, I can tell you that GalaxyS and GalaxyS2 devices switche the output internally via the FSA chip to the USB port. This is done by placing a resistance value across usb pins 4 and 5 (aka pin x and pin 4) the data is passed across D+ and D- (Pins 2 and 3) then converted to HDMI on the output of the adapter. The adapter is powered externally by an additional USB connection and the device can be charged while simultaniously. The HDMI output from these devices are standard HDMI

I'm not sure about the communication format between the device and the HDMI adapter nor the resistance value required for the FSA chip. See the GalaxyS Hack Pack or GalaxyS2 hack pack for more on the FSA chip which handles USB switching for the MHL.

My nexus 9 is basically a cheap laptop!!

Here is my setup: Android nougat stable, exkernel with cpu clocked to 2499 and gpu at 918. Got the Taskbar app, freeform window mode in enabled, a chromecast (Though I might get a mhl cabable). Got an otg cable along with a usb hub and mouse/keyboard in the mail rn. Tv is 32" 1080p. Let me just say second screen completely blows andromium or any other cast app I've tried out of the water. There is a slight lag but it's surprisingly really low. Check out the photo I took

You just saved me from wasting my money. I just assumed it would be supported because for it not to be is the most lazy ridiculous crap I've encountered from a Google product. Now I'm disappointed
@tdct12 I highly recommend you try underclocking it(cpu). The performance is actually better for me, even in benchmarks. Try it!
