How to Hide On Screen Buttons? - LG V20 Questions & Answers

I have seen that prior LG phones including the V10 had a menu option to auto hide the three on screen soft keys at the bottom of the display, yet I don't seem to see that option on my V20. Am I simply missing it or does anyone know of an alternate way?

Go to settings > Display > Home Touch Buttons > Hide home touch buttons and then choose which apps you want to do it for

[Q] How to place a soft "Back Key" on the status bar?

I have flashed the Dorimanx's new ROM and seen the soft key at the left top conner.
Link to Dorimanx's new ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1166948
How can I accomplish this for other ROMs? An App? or some Setting?
Thanks in advance.
You can try Button Savior, you can find it in the Android Market but you have to be rooted to use it. The app puts a icon on your screen that stays on top of everything. You touch the icon and it opens up more buttons on your screen that will stay for the amount of time you select or permenently if you choose. It gives you a exit button a plus button ( this expands to more buttons being a phone, camera, and search buttons), a menu button, a home button, and a lock screen button. I used it all the time as it really saves wear and tear on your external hardware buttons and it is so easy to use and always available on your screen.
thanks for the quick reply. i ll give it a try
If the "other" rom is based on CM7, you can simply enable a setting in (Settings > CM7 Settings > Tablet Tweeks > Enable Soft Keys & set your own)
Otherwise, follow the post above yours
thats exactly i am looking for

[Q] N7 2012 Lollipop home screens backwards?

Just installed Lollipop and the Google Now Launcher, but the home screen layouts are all backwards...right down to the navigation buttons at the bottom.
To get to the Google Now page, I have to swipe all the way to the RIGHT.
The Nav buttons on the bottom are reversed compared to my Nexus 9. The Multitask button is on the left, Home button in the middle, and Back button is on the right.
I'm finding this rather annoying and wonder is this the default layout for the Nexus 7?? Is there a setting that I'm missing??
I find this rather bizarre!
You've got a right-to-left language selected (such as Hebrew), which reverses the entire screen. Go into "Settings->Language & Input->Language", and set it back to English(United States). If you already have that selected, try English(Canada).
---update---
Aha, I found it. There's a new setting in Lollipop under "Settings -> Developer Settings". There's a checkbox that says 'always make screen RTL (Right-To-Left), regardless of language'. Uncheck this box, and your screen will return back to normal.

[STOCK] Home button lag workaround

If you are satisfied with your home button response time then don't read further.
After trying a lot of things just found out that this provides absolutely fastest home response.
If someone has an idea how to theme it a bit I would be grateful. Also if you want a screen record proof, it won't be a problem to record/upload.
root + xposed framework mandatory, meaning I take no responsibility nor credits.
have not tried it with stock launcher as primary launcher.
Steps for stock rom:
1. Install any lightweighted launcher. Set it as default. (you won't use it)
2. Freeze home selector. (titanium or whatever)
3. G2 tweakbox > theme tweaks > navigation bar >other tweaks > enable button combinations
4. Settings > display > front touch buttons > button combination >drag in recents
5. Gravitybox > navigation keys actions > recent keys single-tap > set your primary launcher
[optional] 6. "App settings" > make your primary launcher resident
try to use recents button to see if it is working as smooth as hell
tell me what you think, cheers
[edit] managed to theme it with "g2 xposed", navigation bar looks normal

Menu button option need HELP?

What does "Menu button" option do if check or uncheck the box?
Settled in Settings-->Phone-->Display, gestures & buttons-->Buttons-->"Menu button (check box)"
TNX
When checked it adds an on screen floating menu button in legacy apps that don't already provide an on screen menu button.
It is essentially an option for backwards compatibility with apps designed for the era of Android devices they had physical menu buttons.
Tnx a lot!
Just one more question:
- How to lock one (or many) apps in Recent Apps? When i click Clear All that app not to clear and stay always active?
I need that but i dont know a sollution
