Not sure if you're still working on this but i too have been trying to build an AOSP. I can essentially get it to build. But it just will not boot. Thought it was my kernel so I tried the boot image from the CM7 release but that doesn't change anything. When I look at the kmsg log i can't really figure out where it actually crashes. If you're still working on this let me know.

There are Roms posted in the Dev section. ICS Stock also.
Your best bet, would be to look at the directory structure on some stock rooted roms, and also look at the updater script for them.
This will give you a good starting point on what to change in your script as far as BB and SU.

Also, I highly recommend you look into the android build system.
Yes its complicated.
yes its hard at first.
but there is only so much you can do to mod an already compiled rom.
even with little coding experience you are able to do a lot when you have access to the source!
plus, if you fix something, you can submit it to have it fixed for everyone.
between this guide and our CM9 thread, you should be able to get started. we have some basic setup instructions over there.

Anybody able to test something for me?

I am in the process of trying to port Flyme 2.0.2 to my device, as I do not own a MX, but like the software. I have a flashable that I have deodexed with dsixda's kitchen, it is for the MX2 and completely unchanged other than deodexing. If anyone(someone who has the ability and knowledge to flash roms) out there is willing and able to flash it, please pm me. Again I only want to see if the kitchen deodexed properly and I have a good working base. This is not anything special, just deodexed. And yes I have looked through the files and all the odex files are gone, but as I understand it, that is not the only thing that has to be done.
Why would someone flash this? its like flashing a Galaxy S3 rom on a Galaxy S2.. Atleast edit build.prop and switch kernel and the libs from a ROM that is working on the MX

Are you kidding? I made the statement, I believe twice, It is a stock rom for the MX2, I only deodexed it. The port for my S3 has yet to begin, Once I am sure it is a valid deodexed ROM for the MX2, at that point I will try to port it.

[Q] [REQ] CloudyG2 3.1 Standalone Kernel Install ?

Would someone make/modify a flashable installer for the d802 CloudyG2 3.1 original kernel?
For those trying different kernels it would make an easy way to go back to the one in the original ROM package.
I've uploaded the boot.img variants from CloudyG2 3.1 to :- https://mega.nz/#!DR811L4K!NmUXlR1sttEu9Zhe2YBwUuvfm0c-5EOwEEdZcJbtdCo
Thanks

That's great, but, why don't you use flashify?

In the case of a hang, bootloop or other functional problem + someone posted earlier about flashifying an .img file and it 'bricking' their g2
Edit: I did give it a try earlier so I could share but saw some libs being written in a pre existing zip that I wasn't sure about.

[Request] Stock Marshmallow deodexed flashable.zip rom

Hello.As i see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...rom-stock-rooted-debloated-x1575-6-0-t3262242
There is a flashable debloated deodexed rom to our cousin X Style.
I mainly want a deodexed rom for the fact that every time i install a mod and cache are rebuilding...the phone makes MUUUUUCH times to boot and consumes very battery also.I read that deodexed roms make more quickly the cache building on boot and some say that is more battery friendly also. Also it is a little annoying to work from PC from the time we have TWRP.I dont know if this helps So devs...Please make us this favour,it will be highly appreciated from all of us.THANKS.
