Can we have 1 sticky that lists all ROM's Official & Unofficial , ROM DEV MOD's, MODS, THEMES, GUIDES & ROOTS, RECOVERIES, PROJECTS, ISSUES&RESOLUTIONS with links to their threads? ( As well as which mods and themes work with which roms)
I'll make it if wanted but the thing is I don't log in much so it wouldn't be updated unless thepeople here moderating could update it?
I would say that would be a great thread for the mod themselves to maintain, but it would need to be someone who really hangs out in the Hero threads. So until/unless they pick some type of junior mod it would be a very tough thread to maintain because ideally it would be stickied and then locked. Maybe I'll do something like that on GeekFor.Me.
actually a consolidated post is somethin gI've been wanting to do for a couple of weeks.

Lol now everyone hates the consolidated stickies, claiming its harder to find stuff. While I do agree to a point, it has killed the amount of conversations in those threads.
A lot of lazy people hate the consolidated stickies because there are more clicks involved to get to the ROM's etc...
I love the organization!!!, and if it were left as it was, the first page of this sub-forum would have been full of stickies, and any new issues would be automatically buried to the second page.

BUT i cannot post a developper question as I have not opened 10 stupid Post yet
So They force me to open 7 more (this is Post Nr 3) poxy posts in order to post a link or report an error in a rom in its thread. However these threads are full with useless spam like Thanks and questions which could have been answerde if the GURU posters bothered to read the changelogs
Anyway. I have been messing with Slimbean Rom om my SGS2 .
Leightweight superfast and getting 24h+ operating time on the battery including me reconfiguring launchers and my 5 year old playing angry birds.
The Support of the guys is great and I am actually surprised they do not have a thread here in the AOSP section of SGSII Roms

Please understand, this is not aimed at all moderators here... Just a couple that are taking the fun out it, or are just bored. You have the power, and most often are right! But I am seeing a few over using their powers here.
I see the Verizon note 4 forums dying very quickly. Someone starts a thread about getting a new Note 4 and it gets locked because it's irrelevant..? I see someone start a thread about sprint getting lollipop, showing its coming, and it gets locked because there is a dead lollipop thread from 2 months ago that already has mentioned. But the mod is wrong... The newest lollipop thread is about sprint getting it first in the states and obviously trying to get the Vzw Note forums going again. No harm in that at all.
I am seeing these type of actions a lot in this forum by mods.
Instead the mods allow threads that state goodbye Note 4 hello Nexus 6 and others that are negative and not useful to this forum.
Give it to me guys. I bet this thread gets locked and deleted immediately. I am sorry for this, I'm just upset at the over moderating...
Although sometimes I question, taking a step back and looking at the entire pictures does make some sense as to why they are doing this.
Watching many of the posts that have been coming through, end up getting garbled into nothing but arguing, off-topic or such. They have countlessly had to re-direct and delete topics/posts due to this. Doing so makes it hard to allow other posts that have similar topic meaning as another that they do not want to have to moderate yet again. Keeping the threads down to a more centralized, easier flow of topics is what they are more likely aiming for.

Hello... I'm hoping you're someone I can submit this request to.
I have an LG Gpad F 8.0, and like a lot of Glad F 8.0 owners, we are finidng that some of the things in the 8.3 forum do not work for us. If you Google search "XDA LG Gpad F 8.0" you will find a number of threads. Some of them have become "catch-all" threads where a variety of questions are asked and we have to hunt through many pages before we find replies. Some questions even get lost in the middle of a larger discussion.
It makes sense that at this point we have our own section to better organize this information, and that is what I'm requesting.
I have been using XDA now since 2007 and its strongest advantage has been thoroughly organized information. I hope we can extend that to the Gpad F 8.0 owners since at this point there are a lot of us.

So... I'm hoping we can get out of the 8.3 community's hair and get our own spot. I personally need information about my device and after reading a handful of big threads with random discussions, I'm still confused as to a couple of things. I was going to ask in one of those threads but it occurred to me I didn't know which thread to use since most of them are mixed questions.
So rather than post the same question in multiple threads I realized we really do need our own section. There is a fair amount of information now about our device and it would be better organized in a section with separate threads. Would make web searches easier, too.
I encourage you all who agree with this to contact a moderator to try to get our Gpad F 8.0 its own dedicated section. Thanks
I know AT&T was offering them for a dollar plus connection costs, and I hear now they are free with line connection. So i expect there are a lot more out there than we know. A dedicated section will bring them in. If moderators agree and help to do this, I will gladly organize some of the info into a FAQ thread.

Thanks so much for starting this section. i have one of these tablets i traded for and while i like it, there is so much that can be improved on it once we can obtain a recovery and remove the att bloatware. i am using defensemobile as a carrier and cannot use it as a hotspot or tether due to not having a att account. that is my most important peeve with the tablet. hopefully we will start seeing some progress with developement as there is virtually nothing available at this time. i am pretty sure there are a lot of them out there. once again, thanks.
