Some problems with my Meizu pro - Meizu Pro 5 Questions & Answers

Hi
I have some problems with my Meizu pro 5 and I'm searching help
So I have a 5.1.10G version with module xposed (amplify, powernap, greenify)
I have a huge battery drain, my phone need to be charge every 20h - I have around ~4 max 4h30 hour of screen
I use a lot facebook, messenger, chrome and snapchat (0game)
I have an other problem, my phone charge bug, I try with 3 differents chargers : for example I'm 93% and the phone stops charge : there is the animation of charge in loop (like if i was branching, debranching, branching)
Last trouble, my led doesn't work anymore Do you have an application to force it so i will see if it's a bug of the hardware or of the soft
Edit : I did a test with "Color Led Tester", when i pick a color then lock my phone, the Led doesn't bright but the screen wakes up... Can someone do the same test and give me the result please ?
Thank

Bug when charging a battery?

Hi!
I have a question about charging a battery. If i charge my phone when the phone is turned on then charging takes four hours and is still at 75%, but if i turned it off while charging then the battery is full (green light) in a few minutes despite being only at 75% while it was on??? If i charge the phone turned off then the charging takes a little less than 2 hours and the green light turns on, that is pretty normal i presume. So is there a bug while charging the battery when the phone is on? thanks for all your answers!
(sorry for my English, please try to understand )
In Thailand, this problem about charging battery is called "Red Light Problem".
Battery meter will show hang at about 75%, Red Light on. (I mean that my phone is turn on and charging about 3 hrs or more)
But after I soft-reset, battery meter will change to show full, Green Light on.
No have this problem, if I charging while phone is turn off.
For this problem, My phone is already claim (change new one) from htc Thailand. (good service)
Some users in Thailand try to test and find out, this problem will occur when we install SPB Backup (or/and/not restore from this program also).
After hard-reset, this problem is not come. (some users still come again )
Some users change from HTC Official ROM to Customized Rom in xda-developers, this problem is not come anymore
And the other problem is battery meter show not be equal after soft-reset time by time.
Example that, battery meter now showing 75%, after soft-reset show 60%,
soft-reset again show 70%.
so this is not a big problem then. it is just some kind of a software fault. maybe it will be gone with official windows 6.5 release. I hope it will be soon.

[Q] [AOSP] Official 4.4 - S4 Google Edition - v6.0-OTA - Feel the Experience of Nexus

Hello to all!
Since I don't have honor to post on main development page I need to post here in question!
I can't find nowhere something about battery life, I installed without problem ROM on my SIV and battery life is very poor. Yesterday I watched on YouTube MKBHD Hangout with Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside which have length of 39 minutes I think. My battery was at star 98% and at the time of ending video vas 45%. Battery can't last full day of normal usage. (it last from 07:00 to 18:00). At beginning I noticed this problem and I installed One Power Guard and its always on powersave or standby mode.
This anyone facing with this problem?
Yes mine is exactly the same. Running v4.0 and battery life is terrible now. Camera app force closes every now and then and sometimes maybe twice a week it reboots.
Plus I can't charge it switched off - everytime I plug it in it starts up.
Hi,
My battery is a little poor too, but it was because I was with my cellphone screen on almost the whole day... When it was an extreme case (when I was in 4.3 AOSP ROM and it didn't last even some hours, like you), I recalibrated it (I used to do it with my Xoom and X10 Mini Pro, it may be a placebo, but looks like it worked...
To recalibrate simply let your battery run completely out, then plug to the charger and let it charger completely while turned off (the white battery icon appears), then turn it on and let it run out again, then charge fully again. Remember that plugging and unplugging your device from the charger is bad for your battery, and remember to keep the screen brightness very low, turn off WiFi, Bluetooth and SPECIALLY 3G when you're not using.
Hope this helps,
~Lord

You need to flash v.6.0 which mostly correct FC camera app. I notec when i was runinng on ART reboots was more common.
My solution was to flash MK9 stock rom, this is the most stable and reliably by me so far.

My LG N4 is:

what if tried:
let the phone die, and load it for a few hours
replaced the battery with a new one
searchd for apps may are troublemakers
The images are screenshots from the battery stats screen..
Screenshot_2014-03-11-22-37-22.png and Screenshot_2014-03-20-10-28-15.png are just screenshots where you see the issue
Screenshot_2014-03-20-10-41-49.png and Screenshot_2014-03-20-12-53-41.png are from today and show the battery dont make it over 5 hours.
I'can handle the fast draining, but this sudden shutdowns are real pain.
Have anyone registered the same problems? Is there a common solution?

[Q] G2 Battery drain during the night

Hi all, I have a problem with the phone i gifted to my GF. Her LG G2 during the night (only the night!) drains a lot of battery, sometimes even 60 or 70%. This happens both with KitKat and Lollipop, with wifi on or off, with airplane mode on or off. I tried even to reset the phone and install just 2 or 3 popular apps. I sent it to LG support and they changed the battery and the radio but the problem is still here. So I tried to root the phone and I installed setcpu to limit the cpu when the screen is off, and with this method the battery consumption is only of 8-10% (not perfect, but at least better).
So, if I ask LG to change the chipset they will do this? Anybody had the same problem? How the hell is possible that this happens only during the night?
Thanks.

Use an Application like BetterBatteryStats.
Install the apk.
Open BBS and it will prompt you to install it as a System App. Do it.
Charge your phone to 100%.
Unplug your device, turn the screen off and go to bed. (Don't touch your device during the night).
When you wake up, unlock the device and open BBS.
Sift through all the dropdown menu options, and take note of any services or apps with a high percentage.
Post results.

charging problem

I was on quark os v.1. VoLTE, video calls, battery charging, and back up were fine. After that I clean flashed sanyam jain's n7.1. I faced very slow charging on standby, sometimes no increment in battery percentage while power off (after hours when I try to wake it up while power off it looks like it had forgotten to charge and starts like I put in the charging pin) and discharging( but slowly and some times remained at the same level) while using net .
then i clean flashed quark os v2. Same problems persisted again and also video call option disappeared. Finally I reverted to quark os v1 and the problems continued . I changed charger also but all in vain
Now I am charging my battery independently using self made butterfly and it gives good backup which perhaps proves battery is OK.
I think charging files have been deleted on my phone because during power off battery level only increases while keeping screen awake and it doesn't charge even by 1 % for full night charging during power off mode. I don't need solution for video calling, I only want my charging problem fixed. Hope you help me. Thanks
