Ok so you've already got your return box and have sent your note 7 back? What service is your Note on? Let me know once you get a check, how much it's for, and if it's legit. I don't feel safe just sending my note 7 to a random place hoping to get a $850 check in return.

I have no receipt and i was told i think if i send it without one they will give me what Sprint is or was selling the phone for which was 849$ anyone else sending back without a receipt ? Thanks...

they received my phone yesterday, so im waiting to see if i get the full refund. i bought mine on craigslist for $220 and the original carrier was AT&T. i took it to best buy and an att store for an exchange but both places refused to do so since i didnt have no proof of purchase. called samsung and after a few days i received the box to send it in.

Ok keep us posted what they refund to you. I am yet to send mine in because I want to see what everyone is getting back first. Because I bought my sprint note on CL also and have no proof of purchase.

Anyone had luck yet? I just went to the store today, the manager gave me a tmobile rebate center #, they told me it had nothing to do with them, obviously cause its a radioshack offer. And radioshack says they have no clue.

i juts called the tmo rep. it appears that radioshack didnt take care of their end of the deal by sending in the rebate information. everyone needs to go to rs and tell those b!tch3s that they f'd up. =) just tell them that whatever info needs to be sent to tmobile regarding the rebate needs to either be sent again/or actually be sent. good day
yea........ in the end they seemed to both agree it was samsungs fault... if you guys have your receipts then you can call (can i put phone numbers here?) its supposed to either confirm you're in the system or to get you into the system... will edit after i find out if i can put phone numbers or not

I talked to the manager of my rs several weeks ago and he said he was going to contact his district manager because I wasn't the only one who contacted him about the issue. He took my info and said he would call when he got info. I expected a couple days for him to get back, but after a week or two and thinking he was giving me the runaround he actually called me and said he spoke with his t mobile rep and asked if I'd be ok with a $50 t-mobile credit to my account. I agreed and he said he'd call me again after he worked it out with the rep. That was a week or so ago and haven't heard anything or noticed a credit added to my account...

Has the multimedia dock been released yet?

I ordered it Monday from At&t and it has not shipped out yet it is still "in progress" when i check the order status. At&t told me it should be here in a few days but i know half the time they don't know what there talking about...

Make sure you have the batteries in properly
If it's out, it seems on back-order everywhere. I checked Amazon and they wanted less than both Motorola direct and AT&T, but I ended up going into an AT&T store and asked if they could match and they did, free shipping too. It's not due to ship until March 8th, but Amazon said the same thing. Just need to be patient.

I would buy another one and refuse delivery when it does ship. If they still charge you, dispute it with your card. Tell them this is what you're going to do when they say they won't cancel it. If it hasn't shipped, they can still cancel, no matter what they say.
I had a phone on order, when I found it cheaper at Best Buy. I bought the Best Buy. When I called AT&T to cancel my order (18 hours after placing the order), they told me it was in the "shipping process." I asked how to stop;return it. The CS rep said either wait until I received it and then return it for credit, or refuse to accept it when delivered. When it got back to the shipping origin it would be automatically credited to me. He recommended the latter, just refuse to accept from Fedex. I did that, and 3 weeks later a credit showed up on my card. It worked!
Its been like 2 months now and i still haven't got it. Yesterday i got an update email from att and was literally screaming and jumping up and down in my computer chair thinking finally its about time it ships out! well then i read the email and the order has been canceled! Couldnt they of told me that a month ago?

Some of us ordered nearly a month ago when Best Buy first posted these on their site, to avoid any release day sell-outs.
Mine shipped this afternoon, from Hodgkins, IL FWIW. I may be returning it though since it was $199 when we ordered back then, and bestbuy.com customer service hasn't responded to my inquiry to adjust the price rather than both sides dealing with the hassle of return and repurchase.
Um, we are talking Nexus S here, there was no danger of release day sellouts.

He said that only the people who ordered 2+ devices could be waiting, but those who ordered 1 aren't likely to be backordered.

I only ordered 1 Nexus 4 16GB but i got that backorder email. I just talked to a google REP also and he said, its on backorder. I also had a Nexus 10 16GB in the same order and he said, since the order is bundled, I now have to wait for my Nexus 10 until the Nexus 4 becomes available to ship even though the Nexus 10 16GB is available right now. I asked for a request for my Nexus 10 to be shipped separately earlier and REP said, it can't be done as they are in same bundled order. Lame lol would have been nice if I could have at least had my Nexus 10 earlier. Oh well, it is what it is.

You do realize that google does not manufacture devices. Period. If you want to be mad, be mad at lg. Also if your last couple of devices didn't sell all that well to begin with would you really stock up on a bunch of hardware that has the potential to not sell on top of selling at a minimal gain or slight loss?
Stop whining and be glad that you're getting an extremely underpriced phone out of contract.
Can't stand when people whine when they don't know all of the facts :banghead: :sly:

Just got off the phone with Google Order Support. They confirmed that anyone that received the email will be placed on back order. Anyone who ordered who has not received the email will have theirs shipped this evening and that all the back order emails had gone out. So if yours is still processing, you will get your shipping confirmation later this evening with 1-2 day shipping.

There are 2 corporate stores here. 1st one gave me that rigamarole. 2nd said, yes we have them, come on in.

I was using a loaner s7 edge, and I turned in everything. The new Note was completely brand new in box with all accessories.
I brought only the phone. I kept all the accessories. I left with the new Note 7 still in the box. They activated it in the box. Wouldn't let me leave without activation, but talked them into not going through the setup there.
Just say you do youtube videos of the unboxing and you need the box sealed and they 'should' let you.
I also heard of someone saying 'UPS left me the phone sealed and not activated, I expect to leave here the same way'
I just swapped mine out today at my local corp store. I had my old box in the car just in case I needed it. They let me keep all the items in the new box and did not request any of the old items back. They only needed the phone.

I pre-ordered and purchased my original Note 7 from Sprint.com. I was able to replace mine today. (Here's a more detailed writeup). I had to call around to several stores to find one with new Note 7's in stock. Don't just call one store - call around. I was also able to keep the old accessories (I did turn in my old headsets by mistake, but I don't care about them). The new phone does not (yet) have the green battery indicator.

The Samsung agent told me to call them from location so they can talk to the manager. Hopefully I can get this resolved for free, sprint is one greedy company.

I just got my replacement from Best Buy and I was the first person that the Mobile department employee did the recall with and he had to read all the instructions before he could give me the phone and he did read that the phone needs to be in excellent working condition and not damaged.
