How to know if your device have a OEM? or Clone?
This is about for local phone
Knowing your clone it maybe it has a upgraded android version than your device or downgraded
and get the software to flash in your device
How to find?
The best you can find your clone or OEM in 90% by search the dimension if your phone have a dimension in there specification.
It must be same specification and appearance.
About Specification:
No problem if the camera are not same megapixel because the camera is build in hardware, it is functional in software
No problem if the battery not same maH
No problem if not same appearance in soft key and camera shape, important be same position
No problem if not same the ram of your device because the ram is build in hardware
About the ROM? sometimes the other clone of your phone is 8 GB but yours have 4 GB
I have not yet tested but I think don't include the EBR1 of 8 GB in flashing a Firmware, the EBR1 part only for Mediatek Chipset
About the Android Version? That is good to find your different android version you can testing the low or high android version.
About the chipset? Dont flash the firmware if the chipset is different but the appearance are same because you can get a hardbrick.
About the flashlight if your clone have no flashlight but your phone has a flashlight? Not testing yet I think you can get a bug in your software if you flash your clone has no flashlight.

I've been working on a ROM (porting) for this device that's a MyPhone 888, Wiko cink peax, qmobile noir a9 clone.
Everything works, but I don't have data connection.
Any ideas on what should I check to solve this?

Hello Sir, Unfortunately Hive UI is only available for 8x-1000 which is an Octa Core Device. We Can Only Port Hive UI if a new Device came up with Mt6589 Which is almost Impossible as this is an Outdated Chip which is Replaced by Mt6582.

hi i am Nikhil , i am a micromax a120 canvas 2 colors user i want a custom lollipop rom for my phone but when i download 3 to 4 roams & install it in my phone one by one all are for 4gb version i have 8gb version phone so please create a 8gb lollipop version for a120.
you can use wiko rainbow official stock lolipop rom for MMX A120 8 GB

if you want it in 4GB variant , with no no small space problem , you can use debloated version of the same rom

i used stock version on MMX A120 8GB variant. no small bug found yet .
it is stock rom, so don't worry about any bug..

To install a custom ROM you have to be on wiko base first. Download wiko rainbow v13 stock kitkat ROM and flash it via SP flash tool.

yesterday heathcliff74 released wpi 2.3 which can unlock boot loader of any Lumia. So I think it's will be very easy to flash android in lumia540 because I found some devices having the same hardware and running android.
Here are some devices:
Lenovo S580 - same chipset , display resolution, ram, rom, camera, android 4.4
Huawei G630- same chip, ram, display, android 4.3.3
Moto E 2015 - same chip, ram , android 4.3 - 5.1
I think my post will be useful for them who wants to port android to Lumia 540

How would you think of Lumia 950 XL? It has same chipset than Nexus 6P. It would be great to give new life to this phone. You can buy high-end Lumia phones in affordable prices now for custom Android ROM experiments.
By the way, what about HP Elite X3? It it completely other thing, regarding Lumias? Or could they also get custom ROM same time?
