guys my s4 i9500 is running ozcan rom
my wifi stopped working today
when i drop down notification panel and click on wifi i turns light green not full green
and remains like that and wifi does not turn on and then after thirty seconds the wifi button goes off
i have even did a clean install to fix this
also noticed the same problem for bluetooth
plz can someone tell me how can i fix this as i have to leave out of town and i really need my device
I would go back to stock ROM. If the problem persists, you may have a hardware problem.

Now, this is not happening all the time... only if the kindle is not used for awhile.
wifi is turned on and i'm having some fun... i put it away for 1hr, when i come back the wifi can't turn on, i swipe the button to ON and it just sits there the wifi does not see any routers. I do a restart and the wifi turns on and connects in a giffie.
i thought for sure it was the kindle fire Stock software failing, but after flashing CM7, it still does this, only at least 1hr after screen shuts down. any ideas? anyone having the same problem?
could this be a hardware problem?

i have been using this wifi toggle app to quickly reset wifi on the ics rom for kindle.
when wifi gets stuck disconnected for me, i use this, and it works again.

I updated my tab a few days ago. Now the market looks different but unfortunately I'm facing another irritating problem which I have no clue how to solve.
Every time that I turn off the tab, and let it be idle for 10 minutes, when I turn it back on, the WiFi icon will show no bars - which translates into no internet connectivity. That happens while the WiFi button is still pressed (green in the pop-up menu). In order for the device to connect to the net I need to turn the WiFi OFF and than ON and it works.
I checked the WiFi sleep configuration and they are set to "never turn it off" I also rebooted the device but with no change.
Please let me know what to do... as this thing sometimes just drives me crazy.

Flash a custom rom bro. Otherwise you are stuck with Samsung's awesome bugs. If you don't want to flash a custom rom there isn't really much you can do about it considering you're not rooted. What did you update to? KMP???
I did the regular Samsung update -the latest one that was released a couple of says ago. The problem with rooting is losing the coverage I have for insuring the device... which I'm reluctant to do. I'm sure it has a solution somewhere...

For a couple of days I am experiencing problem with my Wifi on my Galaxy S4 (Korean E300L version). I turn it on, wifi icon in notification drawer becomes pale green (like it normally does when looking for Wifi network), keeps like this for 10-15 seconds, then turns off. I tried many things already such as:
Factory reset the latest KitKat stock rom
Revert back to Jelly Bean
Use different apps to switch on Wifi such as Wifi Manager, Wifi Hotspot, Wifi Fixer
Switching of Wifi power saving mode
Root and delete files containing Wifi settings
Even I tried this unbelievable fix of the hardware, by dismounting the grey back panel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEnSQMNJmnc
None of them solved my issue. I suppose this is a software problem, but I am running out of ideas. If anyone can give me further hints what to do I would be really thankful for any suggestions.

Probably hardware failure.

Even though if any of you have a solution for that please tell me. But now one time when it turned off and then powered back on, the wifi stopped working. I don't mean my network, I mean the actual wifi on my phone. When I scroll down my notification bar, the wifi logo is grey but it's flashing, like it usually does when you turn it on, but it doesn't turn blue. When I got to the wifi section on my setting, the on and off switch is greyed out (but faintly blue, even though you can't touch it), and when I tap on the wifi section itself, it just says "wifi turning on.." HELP PLEASE

re flash the rom. i have things happened like that before, wiping all and flashing another rom fix, or go back to stock, sometimes the options settings are grey out. that fixes it.
