well actually specs will keep on upgrading so by time this actually is produced should have newer specs I suppose. this mainly is a proposal concept hopefully oneplus team do take a look

You should lift the front cam a bit ... its expensive to create such a display

he just slightly increased all the specs. hes really not that far off, that is how phone updates work now. the design would never work out though, all that custom one off stuff would cost way too much.

@MyDroidfen Nice rendering, but will be there also an 5,2 or 5 inch version with 3000 mah battery in your render imagination cause 3500 mah is like walking around with an big bomb if something would go wrong :/

It makes no difference which size the batteries is ... So you can build a 5,2" device with a 3500mah batterie and we all hope our opo will never explode like iphones and Samsung devices ....

Let the plus sizes began....

It is for sure metal frame. Clearly noticeable from pictures on TENNA. Makes sense also because one of the design comments many reviewers had made about the Honor 6 is that it had a plasticy frame that made is seem less premium, but me personally find it comfortable and ergonomic to hold than the metallic frame.

Mines on the way; it already got shipped to US and they received it (my cousin); hes bringing mine next week when he comes to Peru for holidays; bought it from oppomart (got a 3-4 day delay but got shipped and package received). Will review it once I physically get it.

May be not quite the first. A couple of us had them last week and already been busy unlocking and rooting them. But they are a great phone.

1. I need dual-SIM since I travel abroad very often.
2. I would like to read PDFs and watch movies when I'm in a train and 7" fits the requirement very well.
3. Keep minimum devices on the way.
4. Don't want to keep a phone in hands when talking.
So my mate 7 will go to my wife, though she has honor 6
And now I can put my kindle DX into my home museum

I wanted to buy the x1 but chamgrd my mind and bought the HAM7. Then i heard that the x2 will come out. Its smaller than the x1 but still has the same screen size. Wow!!!! Its like a HAM7 big brother -fingerprint scanner. I just hope it had the tap to wake up feature.

Yeah! Too bad they didnt review the x1 on android authority. Thats where i saw the review of HAM7. It was nice and not boring to watch. Wish they would review the x2 there this time. Its a real head turner for me. Better than the ipad mini cuz you can make a call and msm.

First two generation of ZTE Max has 1280*720 screen resolution. the screen has 5.7inch and 5.5inch. This year ZTE Max pro will be the first powered by Snapdragon 600 Octa core processor, and it has 6inch screen with 1080*1920 screen resolution, running Android6.0 OS. Compared with the former Zmax, it still uses RAM 2GB, but the rom will update to 32GB. As for its dual camera it has 5MP front camera and 13MP back camera. It is very similar to ZTE imperial Max in terms of screen and performance.
In addition, ZTE MAX pro will be the first one with fingerprint scanner, right now we are not sure about its selling price. It is possible to be released this summer. Stay tuned.

It will need to be unlocked. Just tried with my Tmobile sim and it was a no go.

Price is definitely $99, however, you must pay for at least one month of service before they'll let you walk out the door. I opted for the $30 plan, so total out the door price was $137 and change.

Hope it gets its own subforum. I put in a request in the forum request thread but no reply yet. I bought one, it's a pretty good phone for the price. No root yet but people on a couple of different forums are working on it.

I got mine for 69.00 plus tax.39.00 if you port in; I used a text now number, and 30 for service. This was at an authorized dealer, that tried to argue a bit buy I advised that I called main number and they said 39.00 after port in and I was given that. So ymmv

SO you paid a total of $138? Is it metropcs? I think they bamboozled you into thinking you are not paying the $99 for the phone. Because I paid a total of $122 on mine $99 instant rebate for the phone and tax and activation coz I'm a metro user.
Anyway. I am boggled ZTE people are not advertising this as a VR killing machine for serious. Really boggled. Poor PR people you have there ZTE I would advice ZTE people to hire me as their PR for this awesome phone. LOL. Not kidding! I loooooove this phone! my fave by far!!! I ditched my less than month old samsung on5 for this!!! that is saying SOMETHING!!.

i'm an Windows Phone user and i want to move to Android due the lack of support for Windows Phone
i have a good phone with +10 hours SOT and full day and a half
and i want to inform about mate 8
how is the battery life and how much SOT you get when you are using it for some web browsing and chat facebook and taking shots and calls
and will it get EMUI 5.0 update beside the Android N update or it will stick with 6.0.1
and does it have now EMUI 4.1 ?

Lumia 535 with 5:20 Hours SOT
and Lumia 640Xl LTE edition With 9:15 to 11 Hours SOT
ofcourse lumia 535 continues web browsing i get this Sot

what about mate 8 is really good and have a good battery life ?
what about nova plus ? which one of both of them are better ?

Normal usage: awesome. Games: good enough (GPU isn't very fast but resolution is relatively low). Camera: good enough (imho).

He have only one problem, unlock bootloader is not easy and you and you will have to pay 4 € / $...Unless you do not want to do it, but you will have some Chinese content, otherwise, mate 8 is the only phone which never heats, but then really never, the games on, turn much better than on an s7 edge (or any other android phone except the mate 9 ^ ^ and maybe iphones)
And with this, the battery is crazy, i have 264 user apps and have no lag...crazy...and i have try Emui 5.0, it's more good than 4.1, but i want root to restore my data so i stay on emui 4.1 (Kangvip 368 is the best for me)

This phone is like Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribean. SO fast, so good. And everyone wants to have it
And samsung flagship is like a fishing boat.

Dude, you'll only gonna find mate 8 fans here. The choice, ultimately is yours. Look at phone specs/cost/performance and you'll know which phone to go for.
