Dual boot

Hi all so I've tried to find answer to my question but all i got was ded end.
I would like to boot 2 touchwizz roms, primary would be Deathlord N5 port and secondary would be some slim stock rom (fully working camera).
Is this possible and how?

I have been using this with Darklord N5 port, and Cm12.1 Temesek Build.
I have never had it working with CM Rom as Primary, only had success in TW as Primary then Additional rom as AOSP or another TW version

Which custom ROM to use?

Hi guys,
I need to update my phone as my current setup is having Bluetooth issues - and I read it happens on Android 4.3, but is fixed in 4.4 onwards.
I need a ROM which allows the following fixes:
1) Bypass security settings on emails that require you to put a PIN/Password to unlock your phone every single time.
2) Remove messages from the call log. Not sure if this was fixed in the newer android versions but it was very annoying when I first got my phone. I only want to see calls in my call log.
Can anyone recommend a ROM which will allow these fixes? I don't need any other features - just need something as light as possible.

Wanam Xposed has the second option, you can use it on any stock based ROM, at the same time Arya Mod is the best TouchWiz based ROM available in my opinion, but it is by no means light. About the first option, I think Arya has that too, but not at all sure.

Thanks mate, will keep that in mind if I cant find a lighter a ROM.

Temasek cm roms are pretty good.

Norma N5 Port V15, Phronesis V4.1 good, i tested. MinimalOS is very fast and light but need some apps for default messages, etc

I just noticed Wanam Xposed has the option to bypass exchange security. Therefore, I want to find a light ROM which is based on Android 4.4 or higher, and has the ability to use Wanam Xposed. What ROM would I be best to use?
Alternatively, could I just install the newest stock ROM, and then root it and install Wanam Xposed?

The last time i read in order for xposed to work on lollipop, it has to be deodexed. Try multiX by tkari4. It's the only KK rom left supported here.

I second Temasecks Rom. It's Great.

I'm using Pronesis Rom ported from Note 5.
I think it's good enough, there are a few bugs but everything works great. I would recomend you to use this rom.

ALEXNDR Roms are great too if you dont want a custom rom that makes your android look like nothing.

I'm using Dark AU rom found on Samsungviet website, very stable even more than stock imho. It's a Note 5 rom ported for Note 3.
This rom has none of the issues you've mentioned. If you want to bypass security try using google's smart lock feature build into lollipop. If you want to open anything from the lock screen you will always need to unlock

Smart view is not connecting in Samsung Note 3 custom Marshmallow version

I am unable to connect to mirascreen hdmi cast through smart view in Samsung Note 3 running Marshmallow. It is connecting with rooted Samsung S3 running KitKat without any issues. I also tried by adding "wlan.wfd.hdcp=disable" in build.prop but still no use.
Pls help.

If it works on a stock ROM but not the custom ROM, sounds like the ROM is not capable of that function on the phone.

It works on custom rom till TW v5.1.1 but it is not working on TW v6.0.1

There is no stock mm ROM for the note 3 so it sounds like smart view needs a stock ROM or a custom ROM based on a stock LP ROM.

But many are saying Smart view works on their Note 3 phone with custom marshmallow rom. For me it works only when newly installing the rom and later it suddenly stops working.

Maybe ask in the ROM thread? I'm not sure why if would stop working.

Question regarding 3 features

Intrigued by this phone. Please if anyone could help clarify about the following three features on stock rom and custom roms, whether they are working or not as of now:
1. Android Auto
2. Ambient notification display (breathing)
3. GCAM
Rooting is ok so not a constraint.. want to know whether above three things work ok or not with stock as well custom rom!

2.Not present on stock rom but it's working on custom ROMs.
3.Yes you can use Gcam on stock and custom ROMs.

May 2019, is there any rom that supports Gcam 6.xx and whatsapp video calling?

Having tried almost all the roms available here, starting from official arrow, then havoc, then resurrection remix, then aosp extended, followed by pixel experience. Can some one guide me to a rom which supports Gcam as well as whatsapp video calling.? I have even tried official. 065 version of pie but same issue still remains.
I m aware that all roms using the arrow device tree are more of less same but still if anyone has any possible solution then please share. I m a old developer who used to cook roms back in KitKat days. I m no longer in touch with this thing due to unavailability of time. I just need some one to help me find a rom where I could use the latest gcam and also enjoy trouble free whatsapp video calling.
