DSP Manager (Tribute to CyanogenMod) for Stock EMUI - Huawei P9 Themes, Apps, and Mods

My first post in Huawei P9 forum
This is my self compiled DSP Manager for stock EMUI (4.0 and up) !
This MOD will give you a real BassBoost control over PowerAMP and Google Music. (not working on Huawei Music because there is no option to activate MusicFX)
Don't forget to "check" MusicFX on PowerAMP (Settings > Audio > Advanced Tweaks > MusicFX , and "uncheck" Direct Volume Control.
Footnote : DTS from EMUI works only on Wired Headset (disabled on Bluetooth Mode)
Enjoy ! :good:

[Tips] Z2/Z3 - Bring back xLOUD on Rooted Stock 4.4.4 (+ Clear Phase & Clear Stereo)

[Tips] Z2/Z3 - Bring back xLOUD on Rooted Stock 4.4.4 (+ Clear Phase & Clear Stereo)
Dear Z2 users, if you had updated your phone to latest official 4.4.4 stock ROM, you should already realised that some sound settings are gone in Sound Effects. (xLOUD, Clear Phase, Clear Stereo)
I found the solution to bring back those settings, so I'm sharing here.
This method may work on other 4.4.4 Xperia devices too, try it out.
It's using an xposed module by @AndroPlus called XPhonePlus. Thank him!
Note: S-Force Front Surround does not work properly with xLOUD.
Requirements:
- Xperia Z2/Z3 - other xperia devices not sure
- 4.4.4 stock rom (23.0.1.A.0.167) - other 4.4.4 stock roms should work too
- Root - here
- XPosed installed - here
- XPhonePlus xposed module by @AndroPlus - Original Thread
Instructions:
1. With root and xposed setup properly, you are good to go.
2. Download and install XPhonePlus module.
3. Go to Xposed > Modules > and tick XPhonePlus.
4. Reboot.
5. Open XPhonePlus, scroll down to the end.
6. Tick 'Enable old sound settings'.
7. Reboot.
8. Check Walkman > Settings > Sound Effects > Sound Effects
9. DONE!
Thanks for the info, unfortunately the sound settings all seem to reset when the phone is rebooted. Equaliser is turned off, headphone type is set back to general & x-loud gets turned back off.

Yes. But that's a very small issue since we don't reboot so often.
Wonder can the dev fix it.

The solution: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56549411&postcount=13
Work for me.
Flashing SoundMod posted in http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/stereo-speakers-sound-mod-v3-2-z323-0-1-t3015912 is a permanent solution. It works fine.

Voume boost!

Hi all,
does anyone know how to boost in call volume and volume on headphones...?
Hello
you can install dolby atmos or viper4android they do the job
did you manage to enable and work viper4android ? how? i manage to install it but it does not work , put selinux to Permissive and install it from inside system/priv-app
Dolby Atmos f**ks up notification/media volume it cannot be lowered down and Viper4Android just does not want to work...
I have Viper4Android on my P9 Lite and it works just fine.
Cannot tell you why it won't for you though.
All I did was install it and of course put SELinux on permissive with the SELinuxModeChanger.

That happened to me too.
You can try to disable the equalizer and amplifier of your usual media player. Than go to Viper and in the 3 dots (top right corner) go to - Lock effect mode - just choose whatever you want.
I think that switching from Headset to Phone Speaker (with diferent presets ) you have to go again to "Lock effect Mode" and choose it.
It worked for me. Hope this could help you.

No Bluetooth Codec Settings

Hi there,
I'm running OOS 4.5.14 and since one of the latest updates (I can't tell when) I'm no longer able to access the Bluetooth Audio Codec Settings under:
Settings -> Advanced -> Bluetooth Audio Codec (aptX / aptX-HD)
Any ideas what I can do / what went wrong? Bluetooth Audio is working,
Thx, bigtreiber
Does anybody have any suggestion?
Have you tried dirty flashing .14? If yes then I'd wipe everything and flash .14 from completely clean.
