In the specifications for the V10 does not write that supports 1080 P at the 60 fps, but supports them

There a ton of gestures and software tweaks in the GS3. Somebody would need a 30 min video to cover all aspects.
How I wish Anandtech and GSMarena reviews to come-up shortly.
And chainfire looks nice in that video

It's a shame the gestures are actually more of a hassle than just doing things the old fashioned way. Still impressive though.

Yes, I remember it was first introduced in Note.
I am excited about the Photo Tag feature. I wonder someone with a demo unit can check how good it works. If it works as advertised, you could make hell of a TV commercial with that feature.

[Q] Anyone think there will be a 32gig system memory in the US

Still waiting but I may have to get the Note 4 but I prefer the 5.1" size but the OIS is nice.
Yes it will be soon when the international version has 128GB

It's possible (I wouldn't be shocked if we see some sort of "special edition" before the end of the year), but at this point I wouldn't count on a 32GB model being released through any of the U.S. carriers.

Note 5 - software updates

I've received 2 updates already since last weekend. Anyone know where to see the content of these updates? I've attached a screenshot showing my new build version.
No updates here yet on the t mobile version? What carrier are you on?

Oh ok, thats why. I guess some of us will have to wait for carrier approval before we get them. Yes, I'd like to know what those updates do as well.
Can you see if the update fixes the Multi-Tasking Bug?

I have one arriving this week. I'll be able to confirm if it's fixed or at least slightly improved over S6/6Edge

Better than S6/Edge. Still present though, around 7-8 apps is where it cuts off. So yeah, not too bad unless you are the type to keep everything in the background.

Snapdragon Battery guru

Why is this app not compatible with our (us) phones? We have a snapdragon processor don't we? I loved this app on my LG g4 as it saves tons of battery.

Some of us have had our phones for nearly 2 weeks now, so you would hope with the other SD820 phones out there I might work. I'm not saying Qualcomm care that much, but you would hope they would've added support before launch. I've never used the app to be clear

Yes, but other SD820 phones have also been released globally which was my point. Usually comapbeis prepare apps before the phones launch so they can have everything set to go ahead of time

You can get the apk somewhere other than the play store and install the apk fine. I have it on my S7 Edge right now.

If you just do a Google search you will be able to find it.
It might not officially support Marshmallow but it works fine. The only option that doesn't work is the "Inactivity Power Boost" because it states that a screen lock is required even though I have one (but guessing it's because I'm using my fingerprint to unlock it instead of older methods), but that's not really needed now anyways since we have Doze.
I also am unable to install the Qualcomm Snapdragon Battery Guru on my S7 Edge purchased just three days ago. In doing some research I found this article which says, in short, that the S7 and S7 Edge phones with the Snapdragon processors are being shipped to the Asian market. Here's the link. The part about the processors/chipsets starts in paragraph 15 - http://www.knowyourmobile.com/mobil...15/samsung-galaxy-s7-release-date-specs-price
UPDATE - I installed CPU-Z and it does say my phone has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor so not sure why the Snapdragon Battery Guru isn't compatible.

pairing with gear s2

so I've been reading that people with the v10 couldn't pair the gear s2. this sucks. i just got a refurbished one for 100 bucks that I've been loving and wearing over my Moto 360 2nd gen because frankly it's just better than Android wear... and now I'm coming to learn that Samsung doesn't have the v10 or even g5 listed as compatible devices and v10 owners had huge issues with it. this sucks. anyone else disappointed by this?

You two might be right. They USED to only work on Samsung devices. I just did a little research and found the "device compatibility" list on Samsung's site, and there were tons of other devices listed other than Samsung ones.

Which is why I agreed with you and just elaborated on my findings.
edit: and admitted I was wrong.
As for OP, the Samsung list of compatible devices says "Subject to change," so after the V20 comes out in the US, they may add it to the list. HOWEVER, the list is most likely out of date now, because only the G Flex, OPTIMUS G, G2, G3, G4, G Vista, and Nexus 5 are listed. No G Vista 2, G5, or even V10. Unless they just aren't compatible or something.
I don't really know now, so I have to step back and hope you get an answer from someone else. I mean... up until tonight, I thought the Gears could still only work with Samsung devices only. I thought that was the answer, but obviously not. LOL
yeah this sucks. i really like it more than my moto 360 with android wear..it just does things much better, especially replies, and now that android wear 2.0 won't even be out until next year, it's getting kinda ridiculous and annoying.
we'll see what happens i guess. ugh!

iPhone compatibility is supposed to come at some point...
back to the topic, I love my S2 Classic, and will probably buy a S3 on launch. However I have only paired it with a Samsung. I am interested in seeing how it works with a non-Samsung Android phone. I previously had Pebble, LG's watc, Moto 360, Pebble Time, Samsung Gear 2, and Gear 2 Neo.
The S2 Classic is by far the best. I currently have it with a Samsung S7 Edge. My S7 Edge still works fine, but I find myself wanting a LG V20.
