This happened to me too, trying to install xposed.
I fixed downloading the update.zip of the update to b151, it fixed me everything, my question is have you twrp installed? If not you must install the update.zip trough bootloader with adb.

I had same issue with update stuck at 5% I solved this by doing the update with USB cable unplugged and did the update from SD card and all went well, after flushing stock rom might be necessary to wipe/data reset do this by powering the device whilst holding volume up then selecting from the menu

[SOLVED] local updates (update.zip, update.app) after root and unroot not working

Hello guys,
I have general issue updating locally (DLOAD) my P8 Lite, from root or SD, full update.app or incremental update.zip.
System always says: Sorry OTA update package (update.app or update.zip) not found and phone restarts
I had root but already unrooted. Tried to go back manually with adb to B052, didn´t help.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you have stock recovery or TWRP?
Local update is not possible with TWRP. If you have TWRP you need to flash stock recovery, before trying the local update.
Well, I never installed different recovery, everything is default.
So after I renamed packages to something else, from e.g. update.zip to Update.zip1, and then back to update.zip, it started to work. While update I had DLOAD folder located both SD and root.

Get a USB cable and plug it into a computer then restart the phone into recovery you should find it boots Huawei standard recovery if not you will have to flash it
EDIT turn off the phone then press volume up whilst pressing volume up press the power button keep holding volume up recovery should load

I've always used TWRP to flash stock updates. After flashing you have stock recovery and it's unrooted.

Here you can find a table with all Huawei firmware in it. Find one (F3) for your device (for example, ale-l21 europe region: ALE-L21C432) and download the FULL version. Then use Huawei Update Extractor to get just the recovery.img (right click on it > Extract)

Hello, on l31, I had problem with b161, coming back from nougat, unrecognized sim card, I restarted in recovery mm, factory rest, wipe cache reboot. problem solved.
Another time I did it too, I unlocked bootloader, installed twrp of the toolkit 0.0.0.0.8 install c432oeminfo.img, shut down, then dload b130, I have updated OTA in full package. Problem solved and device clean.

p9 lite breakHElp me
anyone help me i flash the b336 file and i Try to go back to android MM and my phone is break i dont now what shoud i do and one more this my p9 lite vns-21 is not flashing anything like android MM with fastboot and TWRP also help anyone g::crying:

I upgraded to Nougat Manually and it half worked :S

So I followed a tutorial online to install Android Nougat 7.0 on my Huawei P9 lite. Once I was in TWRP I realised I was supposed to install two update files from two different .zip files. Trouble is I only had the one update on my phone at the time. I didn't want to exit TWRP at that stage because I already installed one of the update files.
When I booted my phone after the update, it all seemed to be working with 7.0 installed. Then I noticed my internet data wasn't working outside of wifi, and my bluetooth isn't turning on. The rest seems to be running fine other than those two things.
I rely a lot on bluetooth and internet on the go. I need it back, does anyone know what I could do, outside of factory reset?
Thanks
factory reset wouldn't help, you need to reflash update.zip and data_full.zip AT SAME TIME without rebooting

Okay, I realised that just now. Trouble is I am having trouble booting into TWRP now. I just get "your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted." with an orange web link.
For some reason my phone says in the settings that I'm still on android 4.3 although the ui and functionality is 7.0. Also, the EMUI is 2.0. I don't know how I got TWRP working before but I think there's a conflict due to it half being 7.0 so recover won't boot. I have tried loads of tutorials online but none of the rocovery.img or twrp.img files are working.
have the exact same problem, on android 4.3 and stuck.
from what i understand to dload a working stock rom, you need to have the correct oem info that matches the recovery stock rom. i cant flash any OEMinfo as i cant get root from revolution recovery.
no access to Data partition either.
no other recovery's to install as its the only one for nougat.
So i need help for this issue too.

I fixed it! It was more simple than I realised. I used the dload folder method; Placing the update.app into a folder called 'dload' on an sdcard. Then holding power, both volume buttons to initiate the update.
Thanks for your help guys!!

Help to revive my L31 P9 Lite

So i f*CKED up my p9 lite. The original os is L31C02 but a while ago i flashed the L31C432 oeminfo and im been using the B160 version since then, no problems. Yesterday flashed the L21 version of nougat, and when i wanted to come back to MM i wiped data and system with TWRP, and now i cant downgrade using the dload tutorial method ( gives me error ate 48%), tried flash nougat trought revolution recovery, gives me allways error 7. Tried pull the system.img and boot.img using fastboot but it only allows me to use files from nougat, and never boots up... Really i think i tried everything and my phone is dead ..... Any suggestions??? thank you

Needing help with VNS-L31C432B380 recovery

Ok, so i currently have a booting VNS-L31C432B380 P9 Lite with unlocked bootloader and TWRP Recovery. (Sadly no real working backup for that)
After trying out some Viper Soundpacks and installing different SuperSU packages I think I broke something... So no Sound anymore, not in calls nor apps nor anything. Neither via speakers nor Headphones.
So I was thinking about reinstalling either MM or Nougat for the sake of getting a usable phone back.
So here's what I think I need to do:
- Flashing OEMinfo for VNS-L31C432B160(dual Sim)
- Putting Full Update in dload Folder on SD-Card
- Using 3-button method to get it to eventually reinstall a complete firmware package
So now to the problem I have. I'm not quite sure if my train of thoughts is correct and that really works out. Maybe I'm missing something? Do I need to unlock the bootloader again after the reinstall?
Do I need stock recovery before reinstalling B160?
Hope someone can help me out here and show me the right steps.
