Hello guys. Yesterday i update my phone (A700F) with 6.0.1. All works fine but WI-FI disconnects alone when the screen is off. In the Advance settings of WI-FI the "Keep WI-FI on during sleep" is set to "Always".

My Dad is having a similar issue on the Galaxy A5 2015 (A500FU), the wifi disconnects very often and after it did that it won't find the wifi anymore, he has to disable everything and wait in order to find it again. This is an software issue Samsung has to fix.
Same problem.For example I open Facebook Messenger and then i just minimize it,not close it.When I get back in the app it tells me that I'm not connected to wifi but I am connected so I have to wait a little bit before getting the connection back.Never had this problem before updating to 6.0.1.

when i connect to my home wlan it connects and works good but after a while it goes off i mean the wifi is still enabled but i just lose connection and it keeps scanning connected disconnected and so on and never connect again unless i restart the router which is NetGear, anyway i tried all apps that can fix that nothing worked my mini is foryo 2.2.1 S5570JPKC1, i updated the frimware, made hard rest nothing worked. can anyone help with that i need an app that really changes the power setting for wifi or any other app that can help.

i have the same problem and i really regret buying an android phone
i have nokia n81 and n82 and i have samsung star and star II and all of these handsets works perfectly with my router .why should we waste our money and time on stupid android with faulty software drivers and even google don't care any more

Hi all!
I have an international version of the S3 with a weird problem.
When I have Wifi connected my phone can't sign in to Google talk and wont receive notifications. I can browse and download stuff though.
If i switch to 3G all is well and working. I have tested on different networks and I have a galaxy tab 10.1 connected to the same wifi without problems so it's no ports in the firewall that's causing it.
If I restart the phone it works for about a day then it fails again and I have to restart the phone to get G-talk over wifi.
I have tried setting the phone a static IP, switched "Keep wifi on during sleep" on and off, tried the trick with power saving in debug menu but nothing helps.
Has anyone experienced the same and can someone maybe suggest a fix?

Hey guys, Im facing a serious problem after updating to 4.4.2 on my Note 3. Wifi always disconnected, sometimes have to key in manually the password for wifi. Not only wifi, even i turned on 3G, Im receiving message in Whatsapp or whatever social apps lately. Does anyone know to solve it? thanks
I have a Galaxy S5 Running Stock Android 5.0 Lollipop, sometimes I came home and found out I don't have wi-fi turned on, I went and turn on Wi-Fi, but the connection no longer works. It will work after I reboot, anyone experience this?
Have you got Smart Network Switch enabled in WiFi settings?
It causes problems for almost everyone, disable it and see if that helps

Hello, so as the title says I've been having some headaches with wifi, it turns on and it wouldn't connect to my home wifi or any other wifi, and sometimes it connects to the wifi but there's no internet connection although there's internet on my other connected devices to the same wifi, also sometimes when I'm having the problem when I enter wifi settings the phone bugs and says wifi app doesn't respond; Smart doctor says that WIFI is good.
EDIT: I have G6 H870DS Indian model and I recently installed an update, but at the same time I downgraded it to android Nougat and still the problem persists.
