Battery statistics - X800 - LeEco Le1 Pro Guides, News, & Discussion

Hi. I created this thread so that we can all share our battery stats and comments on how battery life can be improved.
I've been using this phone for 6 days now and i can honestly say the battery life isn't great!
I noticed that during use, the battery % will go down by 2% instead of 1% like every other phones do.
Below are my current stats. It didn't even last for 24 hours!
FYI - i am on CN ROM EUI 5.8.017s (not rooted)

Battery life on this phone is just ridiculously awful!

my battery life is awfull
I've tried a lot of different things but keeps being pretty bad , the one that got the best result was setting the CPU to a lower frequency , but that only gave like half a day more.

Agree on the low battery, must be a combination of the processor + the 2k screen

With Android 6 update, I have not noticed any battery duration improvements. Is it possible LeTV has not 'activated' the doze option?

The Duration and good, I do most 3 hours of screen, which uses settings? app?

the battery duration is not very good if you will be using the phone with screen on, you will have a max of 5-6 hours, with full light a max of 2-3 hours.
But if you use it normally, not heavy, it will go throught one day

Appalling battery life of G2

I got a new LG G2 f320 with 2661 mAmp battery. Yes, it is slightly less (2610mAh) than the international version (3000mAh), but G2 is supposed to have great battery life regardless.
So I tried LP rom and got like 20h battery life. I discharged battery to 0, then charged it till full while the phone was off. Twice. I downgraded to KitKat CloudyG2 2.2 and applied various battery tweaks, mostly those two:

- http://www.reddit.com/r/lgg2/comments/2nag0f/help_me_get_more_battery_life/ (post by madboymatt)
I also disabled LG Health, have GPS on off, WiFi is on only for several minutes per 24 hours and I have Smart Network Xposed mod which switches data off and 2G on whenever the screen is off. I am also in a very good reception area.
Together with automatic airplane mode (between 1am and 8:30am) one would I would imagine this gives decent battery life, right?
Wrong.
I get ~22 hours battery life with 1h 30 min Screen on time. I doubt this is normal. I got better results with my old S4 Mini with worn down battery.
Tell me this is not normal and I do not have unrealistic expectations.
BetterBatteryStats tells me that the phone is in deep sleep for 17+ hours. The only partial kernel wakelocks that rise some minor suspicions are:
Checkin Service, count 419
RILJ, count 12 000 (I suppose this is normal as it is radio?)
BlockBeforeSleep, count 2300 (I have no idea what it is and I could not find any information about it here on XDA))
What is going on and what else can I do?
This is not normal...
I get 5 to 7 hours of screen on time on my d802.
After flashing a new rom, wait a day or two before testing battery - it may be doing some initial processing.
Try without your various battery optimising tricks, they should not be necessary to get reasonable battery time.
Try checking with gsam app, maybe it will reveal something that bbb doesn't.
I have been using this rom since over a week now so it should settle by now, and disabling battery optimisation tricks can only hurt the battery life.
I start to think that the battery might be bad. Is there some way to check whether its original and what is its real capacity?

What's your battery life?

Guys, please post your battery life screenshots. Mine is fine
Dont have screenies but my SOT is 3 and half hours . Pac rom Lp 5.1 Caf D802 .
There is already a thread about battery life where users posted their screens...anyway your screen in the first post is useless to determine battery life. Dont mean to be rude but it really is useless, because if you barely use the phone, you can reach 120h+ easily. You have to give more information. Even the screen on time is not accurate to determine battery life, because there are some users who use their phone like an e-reader and get massive amounts of screen time that are impossible to reproduce when using the phone on normal conditions. Not everyone uses the phone in the same conditions. A good way to determine it would be the screenshot like you gave, another one with the apps showing consumption, another one with screen time and a screenshot of cpu spy or any other cpu measuring app(because this will make it easy to spot how those e-readers get so much sot, usually their lowest cpu frequency is used a LOT, unlike normal users)
always 6-6.5 hours sot. can hold up to 3 days or more with light usage using Cloudyg2 2.2.
Fyi, cloudy g2 is not the reason you get 6h+ sot... unless you're significantly reducing performance and/or screen brightness. No rom can beat physics(and logic).
I average 5h sot over 2-3 days with wifi/data/sync/auto brightness on. Can easily go a week in standby if check it a few times a day. Running stock sprint lollipop with latest zvi update.
Well that's depressing....I have a battery life of maybe 4 hours with 1 to 1,5 hours of screen on time........I made a post here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/help/battery-messed-t3297770.
If anybody has a suggestion I would be more than pleased. Been using the phone for +2 years. And looking at the screenshots of yours, I hadn't had that in a loooongloooong time
At full charge, plugging in earphone and listening to music or videos on youtube , i get like 3 and half and sometimes 4 hours depending on the rom. Screen is set to the lowest. I dont install much app, especially which connects to the internet silently in the backgroud. Disable location services and all too helps. At idle with wifi on and phone radio is 90% or more good signals, it lasts for about 3 or 2 and half days (depends on kernel too) . What rom you using @deereper ??Have you tried reducing google service battery drain via script and all ?
deereper, and anyone else getting under 3h sot, your battery is shot. I had similar battery performance until I replaced it. In my experience custom roms/kernels may make a very minor difference but have much worse performance and stability.
Yeah, I ordered a new battery.
I really don't want to but a new phone just for the battery.
And yes, with those battery stats it doesn't matter if you run stock or aosp
It's D802 btw, auto brightness 0%, wifi data gps always on. SOT 6-6.5hours only with continuous usage, if add in standby SOT average around 4.5-5 hours

Battery Life?

What are you guys seeing as "normal" sot? I know there are many variables but I also find that at the 2.5 hours the phone has been off the charger, I'm already at 75% with only 1 hour of sot. I am stock with power saver turned on even and no rogue apps listed in Gsam Battery Monitor. Bought the phone on Friday..... Call me confused.
I'm getting about 4 to 4 and a half hours SOT. Seems like the display on the HTC 10 is a major power hog.
In terms of optimization they did a fantastic job as my radio is only listed as using 3% of my total battery and app usage is only 21% according to GSAM, meanwhile Screen has used 72% of my battery, and I tend to run the display at a pretty low brightness (about 20-25% brightness) I have 22% battery remaining and screen on time so far of 3:38
Running full brightness all day without power saver, my record so far is 4.5 hours, generally though I only need about 3 hours or so out of it per day, and 3 or 3.5 hours is my average.
How's your signal strength?
I guess I am around a similar time frame then. I hit 5 hours yesterday but like you, the screen is pretty low and it still eats up the battery pretty good. I guess Ill have to "optimize" a little better.
Signal strength is not great. I do bounce around band 25,26, and 41 quite often but my signal strength meter under the battery settings is a mess of a rainbow. Here's to an update heading our way soon...

Battery life

I have a feeling that my battery life is way less than it should be. I have a Zerolemon 10,000 mAh battery. Most days I don't use my phone much during the day, except for playing a game for maybe a total of 1h 30m throughout the day. Latest one I've been playing is Fallout Shelter.
So in a full day, 5:40am to 7:00pm, I'm down to literally 20%. It feels like I have a stock battery.
Anyone else experience the same issue? I'm afraid my battery may be defective.
You should check the overall SOT. You should get around 10 hours of SOT with that battery. Of course, if the game is very demanding, the battery will drain much faster., as both the CPU and GPU will use more power.
Normally it should go down 1 % every 10 minutes of SOT (normal usage like browsing) and about 1% every 3 hours of idle.
Yesterday I got about 25 % life, today so far I'm at 55 %. I have not played the game since day before yesterday. You must be right about the demand of the game. The note 3 seems to have a very demanding chipset. Even my 10,000 mAh battery cannot keep up with its demand.
My stock battery gives me arround 4.30h Sot on wifi almost min brightness. Is it normal or defective ?
Firmware is 4.4.2
I'm starting to think this is normal usage on our phones. Today I managed to figure out part of my crazy battery usage. It has to do with a kernel wakelock. Bluesleep is the culprit, causing the phone to never go into deep sleep. I followed the guide in the description of this video and it has allowed my phone to enter deep sleep. I've also been using Juicedefender to manage WiFi, Mobile Data and Bluetooth. With all of this in mind I managed to keep my battery usage in check since a few days ago.
In the picture below you can see the list on the left, and how long each condition has lasted.

It's normal.
What is this eating my battery. Every time its available , i monitor cpu usage and i find it at 100% .happens every few days. A reboot fixes it temporarily

HOW I DO IT - 3 day Battery Life with 15 hours of Screen on time on my Moto Z Play

Intro -
Firstly, for people who have doubts and want proof, see attached pictures.
As you can see, I am able to use my phone fluidly for a full 3 days, while using a heavy browser and apps like WhatsApp and FB lite while clocking in an average of 5 hours of screen on time every day.
For people who already get this long of a battery life or get an even better battery life, I am all ears and it would not hurt you to check out what I did to boost my battery life, as it would only make your life better. :fingers-crossed:
What did I do?
1.) I used these apps as replacements for stock/popular apps
2.) I employed these techniques in a personal combination comfortable to me
Full disclosure (things critics would like to know):
My ROM was stock, but heavily personally modified by applying 1.) and 2.) in combination.
I don't charge my phone with the stock *Turbocharger* as it leads to overheating and less efficient charging, I instead use my old Nexus 4 charger.
My phone was never on a 4G/LTE *DATA* connection but Wi-Fi was ALWAYS on.
My phone didn't get any signal for almost 30% of the time because of the area I live in and FYI looking for a network actually drains more battery.
My screen's brightness level was at minimum *most* of the time.
I was never playing any hardcore games that would have drained battery life.
Note -
My phone used to switch off automatically sometimes because the area I am in is really cold, and according to research lower temperatures can cause your phone to shut down automatically/arbitrarily.
Also, any other errors you might see/assume in my results are accidental, as I enjoy 3 days of battery life on a regular basis.
Additionally, as you can see in my attached screenshots, 15 hours of screen on time (meaning 15 hours of actual phone usage) takes away 50% of my Moto Z Play's battery. The rest of my 50% battery is spent on *processing* (that is, all the other tasks and hardware) when my phone's screen is active (for 15 hours) and also when it's on standby (in doze mode for 2.4 days=57 hours (3days-15hours) (when my screen is off).
So you could say that my phone has a total standby time of 6+ (2*50%=2*3days) days on standby (if the screen is never activated) because processing required is negligible in standby/doze state.
P.S. You will forget to charge your phone if it has a battery life of 3 days LOL.
