Which one is better? Does the Grand Duos have a Gpu? How does its dual core processor compare to quad core of Quattro?
Main requirement is dual SIM with good display and battery life and also able to play some games such as Subway Surfers. I am tilted towards Grand Duos because of better camera.

I have galaxy grand and my friend has the quattro
I never regretted buying the grand
when using the quattro I Don't feel the extra bump of the processor and the games lag because of the quattro's basic gpu adreno 203
on the contrary the same game with the same apk never lag in grand even in power saving mode because of the better gpu of grand videocore IV
plus the extra screen real estate and better camera an 1080 play and recording of grand are all plus points for me
quattro is a joke really compared to grand in real life performance don't be fooled by benchmarking
and quattro practically has no development going for it that means no mods no custom roms and be grateful if it even has a rooting method "really bad for me"
that's my opinion and the decision is for you
Go for Grand if possible. Trust me, Galaxy Grand smoke away Galaxy Win miles away. Although Grand are using 1.2GHz A9 core + Video Core IV, are way better than Win Quad-Core 1.2 A5 core + Adreno 203.
Subway Surfers problem can be solved (If you having it) by upgrading your firmware. OTA or ODIN.
Grand is better than quattaro in terms of specs, screen, camera:good::good::good:

Galaxy win is a good idea if you have your budget limited.
Quattro has high benchmark still poor performance don't know why... my brother has that phone...

why gta sa laggs on medium settings on grand 2 but works great on grand 1 and xperia l in medium setting even on s3 mini
grand has more ram & processor than above devices
and i also clear ram then open the and no app running on background
First of all , Grand 2 has only got more ram and not more processor . Because the processor in Grand 2 is 1.2Ghz Quad based on cortexA7 architecture and whereas Grand 1 has 1.2Ghz Dual core processor based on CortexA9 architecture . And Gta Sa shouldn't lag on grand 2 as it runs on medium-high settings on grand 1 without any lag .

There may be some other issue cause I also play gta sa on grand 2 with medium settings and there is no lag ..
You might have installed too much apps. try clearing memory cache etc..
Hi, I am about to buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 Wifi version aka SM-T330 !
So the 1st thing I am wondering is how is the Gaming performance on this Tablet ?
I don't have much information about the Tablet No information about CPU (just Quad Core 1,2Ghz CPU) nor the GPU.
But It seems to have a Qualcom Snapdragon 400 1,2Ghz x4 with Adreno 305 GPU :fingers-crossed:

I know, but it should be more faster than a Mali-400MP4 (example of Galaxy S3 4G/Note 2) !

I tested the 8.0 version on Real Racing 3 very little lag, and only at menu times, never in gameplay. I have also tested in some shooter games and more racing games, no lag anywhere else! Very good for a tablet.

I'm a little late but I just downloaded and installed GTA San Andreas on my Tab4 7.0 and it works very well. Only twice has the game crashed on the main loading screen, but it always loads the game on the second try. GTA SA look amazing on the Tab4 btw. Haven't tried to max out the settings yet, currently running on default settings, but no issues at all while playing the game.

Well, How is the gaming on the 10.1 version ?
Did you test other games ?
8 & 10.1 versions should game identically, they have same specs. That said, if the 7" runs a game well (which it's looking like it's very capable), expect the 8&10.1 to run it better.

8 and 10.1 version of Sam's tabs always have good specs compared to 7" ;-;

Well Dosbox is still somewhere between a 486DX 50 and 486DX 66 according to dhrystone which is about the same as my Galaxy S3 phone but that is at the command prompt so neither the extra cores or the GPU are going to be of any help. I will do more testing later.

I decided not buy a Tab 4 again
So I cant test anything.....
runs emulators terraria etc not to bad for a tablet at these specs
Ran GTA:SA, Asphalt 8, Colin McRae Rally and MC4 they all ran fine at default settings with lag not noticeable. That's my Tab 4 7.0. MC4 should run since my Kindle with a SGX540 GPU can run smoothly?

I suggest you close all apps (backgroung process) before opening th game.
1,5GB + Quad Core CPU + an Adreno 305 GPU should be enough to play GTA: SA with NO issues at all

Hi, I watched a video on youtube of a GTA SA gameplay on Snapdragon 400 device. It was very lagging on low settings. GTab 4 10.1 also has S400 cpu. So, I figured out it may be a cpu or gpu optimization issue. God damn the day I bought this unknown device with weird processors. But maybe it s a rom issue. SHOUTOUT TO DEVELOPERS please make roms for 10.1 (aosp roms). Touchwiz sucks. Stock samsung rom is for kids.

Many members/developers would like to develop for many devices, the ONLY limitation is that they don't own the specific device.
Building a software blindly is a VERY HARD job !
Keep checking the Tab 4 forum, I'm sure a Dev will make an amazing ROM soon

Since this week I have the a new phone. The HDC note 3 N9006. It's a really fast and good game.
But when I try to play a game like GTA III or GTA Vice City it runs smoothly in the begin, but then the app is closing itself without any message.
This mobile runs the game perfectly with the specs so what is it?

Hello Buddy! Glad to see you having interest in this awesome-crazy device.
Coming to your query, I'm flawlessly running them on max settings (My Sammy's rooted). The 8-core CPU is really powerful and the PowerVR GPU's benchmarks give awesome results not missing that device does have a very great development.
PS: Also consider LG G2 and Moto X2. But I consider i9500 to be the best overall if all departments are taken into account (Memory Card Slot, Development, Display, etc.)
