i've been searching all over if its possible to spoof your mac address at marshmallow. but i cant find any. is it possible though? i've heard that they restricted on spoofing your mac address at marshmallow. and i cant view my saved passwords from my wifi with any app. thank you in advance

I recently flashed my galaxy tab but i was wondering if anyone can tell me how it is possible to find out the firmware i flashed is the non modifiable ones from samsung (newer ones) or not?
also, the WIFI network in my office requires manual IP config which is not a problem, but is there any way that it automatically switches between manual/auto config depending on the wifi ur on?
for instance, at home it uses auto IP, so do i have to manualy goto advanced setting and untick the box?

Edit the file .MAC.INFO work but once you start wifi address back to the original form : / In the other phones manage to do this but this can not : / Is in general is a possibility? I would also like to change Mac address on my Note 4 - 910C running 6.0.1.
Have tried all apps ( Mac address ghost, Mac changer, Change my mac) but it doesn't work. Tried to change Mac address with Terminal Emulator and still doesn't work. Phone is rooted with Cf-Auto-Root.
Managed to change Mac address on my older phone Galaxy S2 gt-i9100 using DorimanX Kernel.
Is there a Kernel for a Galaxy Note 4 - 910C that can change Mac address?

I have a strange issue.
My router doesn't accept my girlfriends phone.
It's a Lenovo Moto G4 Plus with stock firmware Android 6.0.1
The problem is the device name "Google(Android)" without the quotes. The problem is the "(" & ")" characters.
Is there an option to change the device name without rooting the phone?

No, without rooting not. What router do you have? And what wifi security are you running? Which method did you use to bind the mobile to your router? Try adding the mac address of the gf mobile to the routers Mac table if you have mac security enabled.
Maybe there's some sort of filtering on that stops her from connecting

wifi range is normal just like any other phone. Haven't tried gos navigation but location services are working as normal. Haven't faced any issues after fixing wifi mac issue
and i think its a great phone for the price, functionality is smooth haven't experienced any lags so far. battery time is also good.
This is on the international version of the OP8Pro and NA Rom, so any Chinese VPN blocking code should not be implemented on this Rom. But I suspect there are some code left over from the Chinese Rom that detects and kills VPN. Does anyone have the same problem with VPN? Anyone with custom Rom that has a stable VPN connection?
