EMUI 4.1 - Guide on using Audio note feature - Honor 5X Guides, News, & Discussion

EMUI 4.1 camera application features some pretty interesting modes. One of them is the Audio Note.
With Audio Note you can record up to 10 seconds of audio after you have shot an image. It’s a great way to shoot capture something important and then add an audio file to it for later reference.
Imagine this: You enter an apparel showroom and there’s a cool suit you want to buy. Rather than making a mental note to save some money and buy it for yourself next month, you take a snapshot using audio note.
Now the next time you view that image on your phone, the image will remind you to better start saving!
Here’s how you do it
STEP 1: Select the Audio Note option in the camera application.

}
STEP 2: Capture the image
STEP 3: Record the audio you want to set with the image.
And you’re all done.
The next time you’re in the images gallery, just tap the audio icon on the image and the phone will play the audio recorded.

Could you please stop creating threads for meaningless info ?
I know you want to up your rank, but you can create one thread with as many posts as you want...

It's kinda useless :/

[Need help]ATOM Camera screen ellapses with background but still partially functional

A little info of the current status:
Device XDA Atom
ROM: pdaviet WM6.1 newest build 20961
Just installed the TCPMP, Flashvideobundle and Vtap for the youtube viewing (if those may interfere the structure of the camera). Then this problem comes up as seen in the embedded photo below no matter how many times I hard and soft reset the phone.
*The current screen stays at the background while the camera function takes place. I can still press the button to take picture under this frozen screen, yet the images may sometimes contain errors. As for the video, I can only capture voice but not the motion. *
The camera compatibility certainly gets me frustrated as every time I install something new, the camera happens to encounter problems. Not to mention it used to be flickering before... I really don't know the reasons why.
Would really appreciate if anyone can help resolve this mystery.

An App Develope request, to solve no FFC problem

My HD2 is a great phone, wheather when its a WM6.5, or after I rooted to Android. I mean, come on, its been on the market for like 3yrs.
The only thing that sucks is the absent of a Front Face Camera
I found this idea below, which inspire me to make a similar thing to it.
However, the image will be upside down, with my little Periscope .
Is that possible someone make an app that make my camera does upside down?
There are some stock roms that has the problem with upside down camera, If someone could make a repair file out of it, I guess someone else could use those problematic file to create an app, that would automatically sub the original camera setting files into the upside down one, once you are done with your video chat, you could go back and reset it normal.
Possible ? I'm confident many of us are willing to make a donation, and the concept doesn't sound very challenging ( sorry, I'm not a com. sci, major )
I wish I know how to write apps.
Any input?

[Q] A question to ask.

Hey we all know that our galaxy 3 doesn't have flash support and ambient light sensor but
According to this link our galaxy 3 is having both flash support + video telephony.

It is clearly stated that Galaxy 3 has FLASH LITE which will play swfs from your sd and some videos( i used it to view a video in stock browser)
And there are some apps which allow using the back camera for video telephony but still its not that comfortable compared to devices with a front camera

There is written android browser with flashlite 3.1 .But we cant see any flash content in browser. There is no app for video telephony.Apps like fring and vtok allows you to video chat not videocall
Yes we have Flash, but it doesn't work in the browsers and it's so slow you wouldn't want it to work anyways. As for video telephony, I have no idea what that's about considering there is no front camera so the other person would see you but you wouldn't see them unless you hold a mirror in your hands.

Lets start a Color OS Camera port bounty!

How about we start a bounty like I see all the root / bootloader bounties. Maybe this would speed up and entice more developers to try the port.
I did not see one started yet. I do not know how to set up an account for the bounty. If someone who has done this before and is willing to help that would be great!
If there is already a thread which I couldn't find, bash all you want at me, then please point me in the right direction.
Basically a fully functional Color OS Camera port for CM11 on our Oneplus One.
i love the 32 second exposure on the Colour OS Camera, id be in for this
yes the 32second exposure is one of the main reason I want to use it. Hopefully we get enough people on board and whomever that is recognized enough here to start a bounty account.
I would contribute 10$ to that.
The pics aren't much of a difference to me. I won't bother worrying about it. Here's a comparison:

Try These Camera Tricks

The camera on the Honor 8 Pro is full of really great features. Here's the most useful ones that I use.
Steady On Flash
Use Steady On Flash to keep the flash on while you arrange your shot. The flash will stay lit until you take your photo. This will help you preview how your image will look before you take the picture.

}
Wide Aperture Mode
Wide aperture mode is my favorite on the Honor 8 Pro. Take images of objects within 2 meters of your phone. Then drop out the background afterwards to get this effect.
Adjust FPS in Slo-mo Mode
Slo-mo mode is set to 120fps by default. If you swipe from the left side of your screen, you can bump up the frame rate to 240fps.
Use your Voice to Snap a Photo
Go hands free while your phone is setup on the tripod. Don't worry about setting a timer, just say "cheese" or make a loud noise to trigger the capture.
If you have any good camera tricks to share, post them in the comments.
Good one bro
