Notification Bar becomes unresponsive

I have a TMo N3 model and my wife has an ATT N3 model. Both of us have an occasional issue where our Notification Bar becomes unresponsive for some reason. We have to restart the phone to get the Notification Bar to respond. Anyone else have this issue or a resolution?

I had that issue, but was caused by thw xblast module of the xposed framework, are you using it, if so, thats it
Crap I am using Wanam module in Xposed. That must be the issue. Thanks.

It won't be Wanam unless you have centred your clock?
It'll be a mod via Xposed FW, lot of people have Wanam cause of the Official status including myself, and never no issues with notification bar.
I didn't mess with my clock at all. I did hide NFC, Two Line Date, and Custom Carrier though.

Probably because you have hidden NFC (incidently my NFC doesn't show up at all even when on) and changed carrier stuff. try disabling them and see if that is the issue.

It looks like it might have been the hidden NFC icon. I resorted that back and haven't had the Notification Bar freeze ever since. Thanks for your help tracking it down.

[Q] No 4g after call

Hi,
My phones 4g only works after a restart as long as I don't call. After calling it won't do better then hdspa plus. I'm running X-Note 16 with NE3 baseband.
It's really annoying to reboot every time after a call so any suggestions for a fix are welcome
Are you using any xposed mods?
4G network can not be used for calls due to it's nature. But I would recommend factory reset for a start.

Yes I am.
They are:
App Settings,
CrappaLinks
GravityBox
Greenify
Play Store Fixes
Tinted Status Bar
Xposed GEL Settings
XuiMod
Youtube AdAway
Could any of these brilliant little bits of code harm my connectivity?
Much thanks!
Use intelli3g xposed module to lock your connection to lte after call, then once it locked change it back to auto mode. No reboot needed.
Here's the link.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.voidvapps.intelli3g
Try disabling gravity box. And reboot.

Didn't want to get rid of gravitybox (it's brilliant), but intelli3g is brilliant as well and it fixed my only issue on the Note.
This is a perfect phone now, I might not even update the rom before Android L

[Q] Is it possible to get the network activity indicators back?

Sometimes, when I'm on a weak data connection, it's nice to be able to tell if anything is actually happening on the network link. Unfortunately, in the stock room on this device, these indicators are only shown under the notification shade. Is there any kind of Xposed tweak or something similar that can get those little arrows back on the bar next to the signal icon like there is for the original Moto X?
Download the Internet Speed Meter App

Or use xposed module gravitybox
Not a bad idea, but does it work on the Pure Edition?

I thought I read somewhere that this didn't work with the Moto X (the OG, at least) with the stock rom. Is this not the case? Have you tried it?
Yup

Yes i've tried it.
Gravity Box works on XT1575 with XPosed but you need "BusyBox on Rails" to work properly.
I've always used BusyBox Pro w/o issue:

On sale too!
GravityBox worked!
Actually, GravityBox by itself does indeed appear to be working for getting the indicators back. I changed the color darker (pitch black) so that they can be visible regardless of what app is being used, and they actually fit in with the look of the interface pretty well. Thanks for the tip!

Changing the status and navigation bar's color permanently

Hi,
There is an AMOLED burn in problem on my 6P. Especially on the navigation bar area. I thought reverting the colors on both bars would be a good idea, but I just couldn't make them stay that way(white background and black icons). I am on latest MM firmware. I rooted the phone and installed Xposed Framework. Any help would be appreciated.

What did you change to make them white sometimes? Did you edit Styles.xml in framework-res.apk?
I don't think there is a way to change them in all situations. Most maybe, but not in all.
You are on Marshmallow?
I returned to MM because as far as I remember some people were reporting bootloops when they flashed Xposed Framework to their 6P's on Nougat.
I tried some Xposed modules like "PerfectColorBar" and the app called "Navbar Apps". Actually when I combined those above I could make the nav bar's background white in most situations but I just couldn't change status bar's background.
I don't have technical info to edit a file. I thought installing some XF modules would be enough :/
Use immersive mod, guide is at blog.alok.gq
I found the solution by using the pro version of flat style colored bars module's pro version.

If you want to upload your framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk I'll do what I can.

Thanks a lot. As I told above, "Flat Style Colored Bars" solved my issue.

Black bars left and right

My A1 is suddenly showing app 5mm wide black bars left and right in portrait mode or on top and bottom in landscape mode. It seems the screen resolution is changed to something like 1920x950...
I tried reboot, change of launcher but it does not affect it. When booting up the bars appear maybe 7sec before the boot is finished.
I am using the original ROM with April update, and Magisk
Any idea?
Magisk mod ?
What is Magisk mod? Just normal Magisk, disabling all modules did not help

Mod is short for module
Well you look alone on this bug so let's imagine it's something you did like changing dpi screen size font etc
Try to find what is the culprit by checking all your app that could do something with screen
Can be a simple app to add rounded corner or facebook messenger. I'm not telling those one cause this problem and I'm not saying you are using them but app like that could cause problem
As you said you can see it's happening after boot so it's something that an app or a modification you did do
If really you don't find the problem factory reset phone though settings
But if an app you use was the culprit then you'll see the big again
Solved!
As I was not able to identify the application causing the problem, and also no malware was found I looked into an application to reset the display size.
SCREEN SHIFT solved the problem just by installing and starting the app.
