I found this being a nice benefit in "complex lighting" situations. In photos with very dark and light spots, typically a camera will have to accommodate one or the other, leaving one part of the photo lacking detail. Here are some photos of situations with bright lights and dark shadows. Notice how everything is even and very detailed.
Dual ISP​The image signal processor is in charge of the autofocus, exposure and white balance. The built-in dual ISP improves the speed of the focus and process time when you're taking photos. This makes snapping high quality photos quick and easy, by removing time spent focusing your shot.
In conclusion, two lenses are definitely better than one and the Honor 8 does this very well.

This pictures were made for comparison yet they have different iso levels. Obviously the device which had the better iso rating for a specific lighting condition got the best results.
I can see all 3 of the devices have a good exposure than the other because of this. It's as if the one who made this want to tell us that all three devices are equal.
If only they shot it on a similar iso level on different lighting conditions then we could determine which is the best on the camera.

But these devices should allow similar iso levels first of all.. 100% zoom crop is the usual comparison used for actual camera reviews( but in same iso)... but we dont whether these allow same iso... only iphone5 is released to public.. i never used it though:silly:
xperia z looks nice, but this a comp. between 8mp & 13 mp. early to say something until s4 an iphone6 release date.

I'm not sure about that OPPO device... never heard of it so dunno if it's already released or not. But yeah my point is the comparison test on those pictures doesn't have the same ISO levels so I don't feel like criticizing the 3 device with those images as a comparison.
But if those were to test the auto mode of each device then iphone5 wins it.

After the update we get a real improvement over the stock FW from camera but... is this enough?
Well, regarding HW, the camera is great. Lets compare with some flaghships...
Moto X
The Moto X anyhow includes a CMOS sensor topped by a color filter array with a single clear pixel in the place of what would otherwise be a green pixel in Bayer land, and claims a 75 percent gain in sensitivity as a result. Motorola has long been an OmniVision customer, for about as long as I’ve tracked them. The Moto X continues that trend with a 10 MP OV10820 rear facing CMOS sensor, which is a variant of OV10810 that includes a clear pixel. That rear facing sensor includes 1.4µm pixels and thus ends up notably bigger than the 13 MP sensors with 1.1µm pixels with a format of 1/2.6". The sensor array is 16:9 aspect ratio, with an image size of 4320x2432, which sort of gives away its real design intention – a 4K (UHD) image sensor, though obviously the Moto X can’t shoot 4K video.
Atop the Moto X sensor is a relatively fast F/2.4 system with 4.5 mm focal length, which gives it around a 30mm (35mm effective equivalent) focal length. I still would love to see more phones come in around 35, but 30 is still a bit longer than the 28 and below I see starting to become more common to get the stack thinner.

So... what is happening? Yes... it is FW related.
What can we do?
Am I the only one who thinks a lot of the problem could be terrible jpg compression? I'd love to see what they look like before compression.
My main issue still (which I've reported to Motorola) is that the camera will get washed out (hazy white look) in bright daylight. I think it is notably less than before the update, but it still needs improvement. I am hoping Motorola continues to look into camera improves and doesn't just scoff it off as complete because they "fixed" the obvious issues.

How to get Great Long Exposure Shots [With Sample]

If you want to get a bit more artistic with your photography, long exposure shots are a great area to explore. Long exposure shots are made simple with smartphone cameras and aren't necessarily new in this type of technology, However, the OPPO Find X5 Pro does a fantastic job with this type of photography thanks to built-in camera modes, and the overall quality of the sensors. In this thread, I'll share some long-exposure tips and show you some of the results of my photos.
What is Long Exposure?​Long exposure photography is a photographic technique that uses a slow shutter speed to flood a camera's image sensor with light. Most photography styles use a rapid shutter speed, but long exposure images require the shutter to remain open for one second or longer.
You can use long exposure on your OPPO Find X5 Pro in two different modes. With Long exposure mode, you can easily capture images with presets and custom exposure time. You can also use PRO mode to manually control all of your camera settings, including the shutter speed, allowing you to capture long exposure shots.
Capture Amazing Long Exposure Shots​When your shutter stays open for a long period of time, any vibration from your phone can result in a blurrier photo. To avoid this, I use a tripod when capturing my long exposure shots. It does a great job of keeping the still surrounding area sharp and clear, while the objects in motion receive the blur effect.
With this shot, it was a particularly windy day out, so it was important to have my phone nice and steady. I use this standard smartphone tripod to line up my shot.

Here is the result of my shot.
Using the Long Exposure and PRO mode, photos are captured at a resolution of 4096x3072.
