Hi all, in EMUI 4 We have lost the local update option and we had to upgrade from engineer mode (*#*#2846759#*#*). But today I bring as enable, this should be compatible with all Huawei/Honor with soc Hisilicon Kirin.
You just have to install this zip on our device (it change the updater app with other with local update option enabled) with TWRP.

After you reboot the phone, we can see the local update option in settings/software update

you can update by Two ways:
1- from settings > updater > check for update
or
2- by Hisuite on PC
I have same model and i am in the philippines. No update for me.
got this update while at work. although my phone is rooted and the battery wasnt even fully charged, everything downloaded and installed without a single glitch.
Hello everyone, the upgrade to Marshmallow have disabled this option but I bring a tutorial to activate it.
You need unlock bootloader and root
For this we need go to /cust/hw/eu/prop or to /data/cust/prop, open the file local.prop and browse the line "ro.config.hw.hideNetworkSpeed=true and change to false, save it and reboot.
Then go to settings/notifications panel and status bar, and you have the option to activate it.

I have been trying to update my new p9 lite with the official nougat update,
but every time after rebooting while loading it sends a message how it was unable to verify update package
and it just gives me the opportunity to reboot the phone.
How can I fix this problem?
