We have only CM 12.1, not even stable CM 13 so for now CM 14 can't be possible. May be in future we may have it if some developers shows interest on it. If you want CM 12.1 link is given below.

Earlier this team did not have much support.

I had searched for it everywhere, cant find cyanogenmod or any other custom roms for this model

Check leak post for screenshots (guides section) i will post leaks about release and bugs
Will LineageOS be ever ported to Galaxy A5 2016? It shouldn't be hard because it's relying on CM sources. If any developer ports it I will be grateful.

Better use Galaxy Grand Prime. It has a ton of stable roms with 0 bugs. Nd yeah obviously same specs. :good:
Porting Nougat nd booting it up is hard. Tell me if you're successful.

Kongakute was working on "resurrection remix" for 8.0 but about three months ago I had to give notice that I had to stop because I had to study hard. Hopefully, there will be some progress soon. If not we will be forgotten and stuck in Nougat 7. Greetings. :good:

I understand that no. Our beloved GT-I9500 left in the abandonment before the impossibility of making work correctly a driver that samsung never released and that's why it was almost impossible to get anything even stable.

I've been searching for a long time for a ROM that's not a customization of the Samsung "touchwizzy" ROMs.
in particular AOSP, Lineage, RR, .. etc
I couldn't find any of them anywhere
I even tried to learn how to port ROMs and port Lineage 14.1 to my device but I couldn't find The device tree and vendor.
Please help

That's the threads for all the j5 PRIME Roms not j5
Edit: oh sorry there are no custom Roms for j5 yet just tw based ones. What type of CPU is in that device? I'm sure if lineage is ported to a device of the same chipset then a port would be possible

Same as galaxy j3 2017. Try going to the j3 forum and pm one of the devs there. Seeing as it is the same SoC it shouldn't be a big deal
