Am using Samsung Galaxy note 4 (SM-N910W8), Which is carrier unlocked and has official device status.
In india, am not getting VoLTE feature for his device.
With the help of online videos, am trying to activate VoLTE thro call setting, getting error msg that "Failed to read data......... Network or Sim error".
Does this device support VoLTE ? If yes, then pls help to activate the same....

I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S GT-19000 using Darky's ROM with firmware at 2.3.4
It was locked to an Orange sim but I managed to unlock it using 'Galaxy S Unlock' app.
Now when I put my o2 sim into the phone, I can go on to the internet and download and install apps from the play store but I cannot make any calls or send or receive texts
I've also checked whether it is an issue with the sim, but the sim does work in other phones.
If anyone can help I would be very grateful!!!
I was using unlocked sprint note 4 i.e., 910P in India with lollipop 5.1.1 firmware. I downloaded and installed stock N910PVPU4DPC1 6.0.1 firmware and now my mobile doesn't have any signal. I selected GSM/UMTS mode in network and manually search for the network but its not working. Any way to fix this??

The current csc code is XAS and as far as I remember in 5.1.1 formware I was using it was CHN. So will that have any impact??
Atleast somebody please tell me that how will I know that whether the problem is carrier locked or something else. Because when I insert the SIM it won't say anything like invalid SIM or SIM card rejected. I searched manually for the signal and it just keeps saying " registering on network".
I have Samsung Note4 910p it was intially masked with 910F later i have Installed Dr.ketans ROM, When i insert activated Jio sim in it, its not showing up network and iam getting network for all other 2G sim.
Please help me .

N910p you cannot use jio volte because lte bands are locked and works only with sprint sim card in usa.you can only use 2g/3g. No matter which rom you use.
iam using all 2g
if i can use any other network then why cant jio?
is there anything to do with modem version? or firmware?
please help me.

I purchased a JIO sim yesterday and I tried it in my Galaxy Note 4 SM-N9100 (Dual sim) phone and it does not work. JIO requires VoLTE to work.
Searched for other firmware versions for this model in sammobile and I ended up with only two versions for this device, China and Hongkong versions. Both of these do not support VoLTE.
Can someone please suggest a way to make JIO sim work on my phone.

N9100 is a chinese variant.
Even if you manage to get volte firmware, the sim wont work, cause the network bands are different.
Its in hardware and you definitely cant change that.
Are you even receiving signals?

I am getting signal. It also Shows 'Jio 4G' in notification but none works. Calls, Messages, Internet are not working.
Hello,i'm new at that forum.Few weeks ago i bought s7 (sprint) from ebay and the firmware model is G930PVPU6BRD2 which has bootloader 6 and no other firmware is installing at that phone,otherwise it is bricked (i tried 4 or 5 firmware and root methods but no good result) and if i install correct (G930PVPU6BRD2) software it is working.I live in Georgia and there are 3 mobile operator which provides LTE bands and my phone refuses sim (it says "Invalid Sim").
someone can help me to solve this problem?
P.S. my friend also bought s7 edge (sprint) from ebay and give it to technical,which what i think unlock LTE bans and firmware is still G935PVPU6BRD2 with sprint built in apps but system message is still activation required,but phone works great with calling and LTE.He told me that technical firstly downgrade phone and than upgrade it (he is noob at phones and actually don't know which steps technical done to unlock sim and cann't tell me whole process).
Please help if anyone tried some working method for that problem!
