Video recording (4k) or possible 1080p lagging randomly while recording? - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I wonder if any of you have the same issue as me. I had this new phone, 64GB and while doing some recordings, I noticed there are some random kind of lag in video, no idea how this is actually called in photography vocabulary.
I noticed it happens everytime with 4k video, 1080p might happens too.
Here are some examples I am talking about:

Anyone knows if that is a common issue or needs to be rma? It does play like this on the phone, on the computer, etc..
I even tried to remove all the background app and restart the phone. Didn't work.

Camcorder problems

Has anybody had a problem with their videos recorded on their camcorders not playing back? It records the video but when I stop it, it stops responding and then I press the home button to exit it and try to play the video and it doesn't open.
I tried sending the video to my brothers n900 through bluetooth and it works but it stutters towards the end.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? The camcorder was working fine when I got the phone.
I tried to do a hard reset which seemed to fix it until I installed the hotfix from HTCs website. It is again not working. When I'm recording I notice that the picture stutters randomly and when I stop the camcorder settings stop responding and videos cannot be played back.
Can someone please let me know if there is a fix for this?
I just found out the cause to my problem. I'm on T-Mobile and as you may know that they don't have the youtube app pre-installed on the device. I manually installed the app myself and it turns out that this was causing my camcorder to not work properly.
This was probably the reason why T-Mobile took the youtube app off the phone. Has anybody else had this problem? It annoying now that I cannot use youtube.
Hello
I have the exact same problem, it seems that the youtube client is the culprit indeed.
Here is a somewhat of a solution, when you want to playback your videos use coreplayer.
That is really useless.... rather than fix the problem T-Mobile just strip out YouTube... one of the key apps...
I also have had problems with video but had not realised that the Youtube client was the cause. Recording seems fine but as has been mention playback is necessary using for example Coreplayer... not ideal but at least it is an option.

Samsung S7 Edge video problem - youtube

Has anyone else had an issue with their S7 edge with playing youtube videos? If I play a video in youtube in portrait mode all is fine but if I rotate to landscape all heck breaks out...
I get green pixelated blocks and and loud whine then it will have to reboot or reboot on its own. I've even factory reset and tried again... same issue. I am now sending it back for a new one. I made a poorly made video of it but can post as I am a new poster...

I haven't had that kind of issue. You did right by sending it in...my YouTube sometimes glitches when i put 2k quality. But usually going back in the video fixes it. So it's a BUG I don't know if it's googles side or samsung side

happened to me while watching youtube video on chrome... had to restart the phone
My YouTube video freezes and I can hear the sound playing still if anybody knows how to fix that I would appreciate it.
Me too.
Mine freezes also, had this same exact problem with my v10. Must be android or something to do with snapdragon

Same here. I can drag the progress bar a little bit to recover the video, but it will freeze again.

Anyone having issues with video recording? - 1080p60fps Stuttering

I seem to be having issues with video recording and stutter. The settings are 1080p 60fps, being recorded to a SanDisk Extreme Plus 64GB. It's almost as if the phone can't keep up and it makes the end shot look terrible. Not to mention my auto focus is constantly readjusting and out of focus. Anyone else having similar issues and/or know a fix? Here's a quick example (warning a little loud).

Horrible video recording issue

Does anyone have any issues recording videos? I'm getting popping sounds occasionally, not all the time at the start of video recording for like a second. I also get frame rate stutter usually at the beginning of video recording. It's most noticeable at 4k and 1080p 60fps. I've tried different U3 micro SD cards, samsung pro and Sandusky extreme pro, and same results. Internal storage too. I can't find a way to reliably record videos. Do I need to factory reset? If so that's major annoying. Wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing something similar. Thanks guys.
The issue is also more apparent when there's bad reception as well? It happens in good too but less frequent. Alsmost to the point I'm ready to give up on this phone. Again, doesn't happen consistently but it has to be either hw or sw fault. Most likely sw.

Video lagging sound while playing on YouTube

I started experiencing that large video playing on YouTube lags the sound, especially when a video is long. The sounds go way ahead from the video. It looks like the phone lacks the ram or performance but it has a decent tech specification, should be an issue, especially when I play a video on a low resolution. Has anyone else experienced the same issue?
I have a similar issue with video playback. However, it is not only with youtube, it is with all videos. Even those on google photos, etc. The playback timer doesn't start, but the video starts with no sound, then the playback timer starts with the sound and the video freezes until the sound catches up with the video. The issue disappears with a restart and only started happening recently. Very odd.
Made an account for this lul... Anyways it seems like I fixed the issue on my phone, I disabled the mobile manager, let me know if that works for you. Good luck
I had to update youtube
