Hi i try to set my lock screen with fingerprint sensor but I realized that does not work. i have reset factory, but it didn't work Please help :crying:

Which rom you are running ? If you are running any s7 port or note 7 port rom then definitely fingerprint won't work at all.

If its still in a stock rom and you didnt root it, then maybe its a hardware failure.
Take it to the customer service.

thanks, I've never flashed a custom kernel or modem before, only full ROMs... I'll do some research - any suggestions on which to use or what to check for?

I flashed stock firmware succesfully with odin and i get this when booting after flash
how can i fix this?

i had to sent my phone to repair. They are changing new mainboard to it.

The part itself is pretty expensive and they charge 247€ and 65€ for job http://stellatech.com/samsung-sm-g935f-galaxy-s7-edge-mainboard-(blank-no-imei),a,en,823503.html
Too bad that i rooted my phone and lost warranty
I tried to format also but didn't help in my case.

for me, RR, AICP,MOKKE,CM13, which works
This doesn't work for me with any custom rom.
At least on CM13 it didn't work for me. This is an anoying bug wich keeps me on MIUI for the moment.

You have to try it , if you brought your phone recently , it probably has new hardware as in (manufactures of the hardware) .
But trying will not break or phone or anything .

TWRP should prompt you to root after it's installed. Yes you can flash ROMs after you install TWRP.

I use CM13 nightlies.
If you're going to use AOSP ROMs make sure you backup your APN settings since you are using a different network than Sprint.

i recommend flashing custom rom instead of MIUI since I also encountered this problem.
sincei am using evolution X, it is no longer happened. it seems it is just MIUI problems.
