[REQ] CyanogenMod for Samsung Galaxy Core Prime LTE (SM-G360F) - Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Questions & Answers

Hi Devs
Any chance to have a CM 13 created for the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime LTE (SM-G360F) EU version with 5.0.2 installed?
Thanks.

if that could get me 6.0 or above i'm interested too, very popular phone in the EU that samsung never upgraded past 5.0.2
my bank made 6.0 an requirement and i dont want to trash a perfectly working phone
side story, they did not make 6.0 a requirement for their own app, just the wallet app that is used with Gpay to pay in stores

[RUMOR] Samsung will be pushing KitKat to the S3Mini G730A

From Phandroid's article:
Despite being the biggest and most successful, Samsung isn’t always the most vocal player in the game when it comes to discussing upgrades to new versions of Android. The company has yet to formally detail a list of devices that will be receiving Android 4.4 KitKat.
Phandroid 4.4 KitKat
While anyone might have guessed that the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 might have been in line, a source close to the matter has confirmed to Phandroid that the following list of devices will be receiving the illustrious upgrade (devices in bold have already started to receive official rollouts):
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 SGH-i317
Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-i747
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 SM-t217a
Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-i337
Samsung Galaxy S4 Active SGH-i537
Samsung Galaxy Mega SGH-i527
Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom SM-c105a
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900a
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 SGH-i467
Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini SM-g730a
As you can see, the Note 3′s rollout started late last month over in Poland, and should be heading to other regions as Samsung works out logistics and testing. As for the Samsung Galaxy S4, it was only this morning that Samsung began pushing out KitKat for users of the LTE-A variant over in South Korea.
Early reports of firmware from both the Galaxy S4 and Note 3 suggest Samsung didn’t change much in KitKat, though that’s because most of their significant upgrades came with the upgrade to Android 4.3 (which mainly enabled new camera features and Galaxy Gear compatibility). Users are treated to improved performance, though, as well as slight changes to Samsung’s UI which amount to little more than a couple of new icons.
Unfortunately, that’s about the length of our knowledge thus far. There’s no telling when, exactly, Samsung will look to push the upgrades out, nor do we know if they’re even close to being ready for public consumption.

More than anything, though, we’re just happy to know that devices dating back to 2012 are getting some love (especially considering a lot of other OEMs have already abandoned phones that only released just last year). We’ll be looking to dig up any information we can on the impending updates in the weeks (or months) to come.

Sammobile said our device and Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 are cheap devices and they're not sure if Samsung will bring KitKat to budget phones -_- God bless us.

What's the difference from the normal S3 mini (8190) to the G730A? Why did they create a new model number for an already existing model? Can I install this new firmware on the older model?

I hope they publish an oficial rom for international phones... So far all custom roms have some glitches... I'll be expectating...
There's many roms for this phone. I like the Carbon Rom personalization, but it's isn't ready yet on 4.4...

No 4.4.4 for g900h

I read at multiple forums that s5 has received update for 4.4.4 but mine is still on 4.4.2 and have not received any update in past month.
Is it that only snapdragon version has received this update?
Because of this, I have another doubt. Will the lollipop update for g900h also be delayed compared to snapdragon versions?
Sent from my SM-G900H
Yeah. That's the most painful to me. I didn't knew about the Exynos matter in S5. Actually I think, Samsung cheat here with us. Price is also same..
BTW,
I don't see any 4.4.4 update for G900H model.. http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G900H/
And I think updates for our G900H model will be delayed compared to Snapdragon.
Why does Samsung spends so much in ads for their processor if they aren't willing to support anything to it?
Octa-core, big.LITTLE arch but only snapdragon's got 4.4.4 (and 5.0 for what it seems) update.
This is the last time i buy a samsung's, that's for sure.
Not all snapdragon has....mine hasnt im on 4.4.2 still
Only US Variants have 4.4.4 atm..the international version g900f is still 4.4.4

Another irritating thing is the lack of custom ROMs for this model. I feel kinda cheated. However can't blame anyone, I should have done my homework.

http://www.sammobile.com/2014/12/04/samsung-galaxy-s5-sm-g900f-receives-android-5-0-lollipop-update/
and one model has received the update. looking at the number of models s5 has, i think g900h will come at the last, if it comes at all.

[Q] [Rom][G900AZ][Cricket Wireless]Touchwiz

Hello,
I was wondering if, since the official Lollipop rom is available for AT&T since last week for the G900A.
I wanted to know if it is possible to install the Touchwiz rom from AT&T in my cricket galaxy S 5 ?
Because I am afraid that Cricket will never release Android Lollipop (I still have Android 4.4.2 ...)
Thanks a lot for your help
Regards
Edit: I asked Cricket and they will , with high probability, NOT update their devices to lollipop !

it doesn't make sense only few very few S5 mini devices got the lollipop update even though its been a year since lollipop came out
if they really are working on marshmallow it would be most likely released 2017 that what i think

Dunno mate
Maybe they gonna jump from Lollipop to Marshmallow directly, so that's why we don't see any changes about releasing Lollipop.

Making ROMs for one Grand Prime version compatible with another version

I am considering purchasing a Galaxy Grand Prime and the most likely model that I would purchase would be the SM-G530p or SM-G530t. While doing my research on this platform before purchasing I cannot help but notice that the majority of development and ROM releases overwhelmingly support the SM-G530h or SM-G531h.
What exactly is required to get an "H" ROM working on a "T" or "P" model? I am not exactly a noob when it comes to building android ROMs (I am a dev on androidforums.com and very active on freaktab) so your reply doesn't have to be too dumbed down. I am just unfamiliar with this platform. I have a sprint galaxy s4 (SPH-L720), however it seems like the ROM support is better for the various S4 than the various Grand Primes and this hasn't been an issue so far with my s4.
Would it not be possible to take any Grand Prime ROM (ex: an S7 ROM based on 5.1.1 ported for G530H), replace the kernel and supporting files with the 5.1.1 kernel including root for the G530P, flash it to the device, and have a functional ROM?
In general when flashing a custom ROM we won't be flashing the modem or radio partitions, correct? So as long as the android userland version matches the android version that the kernel is built for, and that kernel supports the installed baseband/radio/modem then won't this result in a functioning ROM?
Please let me know if I am incorrect, and if so where is the flaw in my logic!
Cheers and Thanks!!!
thats what i want to know also we need to gather a team and work on the G530P
too many persons buying this phone and being unable to use it globally there must be a way to change the modem or baseband to enable gsm or global features as the other variants of the grand prime series g530/t/h/t1 and others....there must be a way to somehow extract data from each and compile a greate baseband for the g530 to enable call and sms features and ussd features as well cause im sure the g530p is no different from g530t or the other variants in this series as they all have the same msm8916 qualcomm modem but the features are either locked to cdma or gsm/umts
CODERS OUT THERE PLEASE HELP WE NEED YOU!!!!
SUPERCODERS WE NEED YOU ASAP PLEASE HERE US OUT:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
Unfortunately, I think, you can't do anything.
You can't install an 530H or 531H ok 530T
To make a 530h ROM fonction on any other model is insanely hard.
I've tried it personally, and everytime I failed.
