Moving Pics from 1 album to Another?? - AT&T Note 7 Questions & Answers

Does anyone know how I can move pics from camera album to another album??
Example: When I take a pic of my truck, that pic automatically goes to the album named "camera", now I want to move that truck pic to my album named "truck".
Any idea how to do this?
I thought I had already posted this, but I can't find my post.
I appreciate any help you can provide.
Thank you!

First go into your camera album select the pictures you want to move hold and long press till it's checked and a little box will appear in the uppwrbledt corners of each pic tap that box to check the other pictures you want to move. Then in the upper right corner you should see 3 dots lined up straight tap that should see an option that says move to album then tap the album you want to move it too....or at the top you can create an album...hope this helps.

That worked like a charm thank you. Let me ask this, I have other albums of various topics such as "work", when following your steps to move a pic it doesn't give me the same option to move pics from 1 album to another. Your steps only allow me to move pics out of the camera album.
EDIT: I'm trying to move pics from an album named "download", it will not allow me to move items from this album. Works great when moving from any other album.
Hope that makes since!

Huh, that's strange should be the same steps. May have to use "my files" then my device or as card (depending where you have them) and search for them there move them in the same manner as before.
Strange you cant move them I did notice I have pictures in my camera album that I moved already (still there for some reason) and they won't let me move them but I move all my pictures in the way i said.

Viewing Pictures in Gmail App

Whenever someone sends me an e-mail with pictures in it (the last one they were .jpg) it just shows up with a little blue box with a question mark inside of it. How do i get the pictures to show up? Does the mytouch no support viewing jpg images?
I'm also running on DDR 1.4r1 hero rom.
I dont have my yet but I saw a post the other day saying that you might have to save the pic to your gallery before you can see it in full rez. again i have not done it so I'm not 100% on this
There should be a button at the top of the message that says "show pictures." Just click on that. For other media files you click the "preview" button.
Sorry, somehow posted twice.
there is no show picture button or preview button. I know what your talking about but it does not show up. The pictures are just giant boxes and in the top left corner it says picture0001.jpg and in the middle of the big empty box there is a tiny little blue box with a question mark inside of it. long pressing doesnt do anything and there is no option to display it

How to insert several pictures in an email fast! Solution: Post 4

First off, i did use the search on the forum and didnt find any clues! :/
google search terms were:
+hd2 +leo insert picture message email slow storage card site:http://forum.xda-developers.com
My problem is whenever i need to attach pictures to an email i take ages because accessing the pictures folder on storage card from "tmail.exe" is extremely SLOW! And on top of that i need to do it ONE by ONE! (i only have about 100 pics)
Is it my HD2 or it happens with you guys too? Is there any solution or way around it? I tried to see if there was any CACHE tweak for this problem but with no sucess!
Thanks in advance for all your anwsers!

instead of attaching a pic to an email, go to the picture u want, tap the screen once, tap on the double arrows icon, which gives u the email option, go from there.

Yes...but the problem persists if you want to add more than one picture...! Yesterday i took 5 minutes to add 6 pics...and i didnt even wait for the thumbnail to show, nor needed to scroll down the list or else i would have wasted several "5 minutes"....
ok. listen. it is quite simple...
open album, stay in thumbnail mode, press 'menu' (right onscreen soft key), 'share', 'mail', select pictures by pressing their thumbnail, 'ok' (left soft key).
how cool is that??

[Q] Photo editor

There is no option "Edit" on the Photo Options, so if I just want to quick highlight or write something with s-pen, I have to make screen shot and edit photo and save, but that will also not overwrite old photo but save a new one. I just would like to quick edit and overwrite, I cant believe there is no such option (?)
Thank you in advance for any information or help.

Did you try hitting the left menu button (left of the BACK button, below)? On an S4 it brings up the editor option.

Of course I did, I'm talking exactly about that; there are 13 different options that brings that button but no "Edit" option.
So can we not edit photos on Note 3?
While in the gallery, menu>signature. Edit is also at the top of the list when hitting menu.

There is no "Edit" on the list.

Photo note (writes notes on the back of the photos)
Signature (after editing saves a new copy of the photo, so if you edit more times you always get a new copy of photo in photo gallery which make mess at the end)

I can confirm that there is edit option available when you open picture in the gallery app. You can find the edit at the top right corner next to delete icon. You can point to the icons using s pen to display the tool tip text.

OK, I HAVE JUST FOUND IT
AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN IS EDIT BUTTON.
(It saves also a new copy of the picture though)

Samsung Gallery Stock App: Where did the "Star" go? Mark as Favorite?

So far, I've always loved the little "Star" you could activate, when you had a pic on your screen. It was the easiest, most effective one-touch-way to sort through way too many pictures you take, when getting excited about something lol.
I would star the best of them, then move them in an album and delete the rest.
I cannot find the star, nor can I find a way to filter "starred items" anymore. Yes, there is a "label" function, but that's not at all what I am looking for. I dont want to create a label and then having to go into the menu, select label, select which label etc...
Any idea/help? Is that feature just gone?
Can't you just go to the menu "Select" > put a check box on the ones you want to keep, move them to a new album and then delete the rest?

Obviously I can, but its not what I am asking.
Also, with your method, in that menue, the thumbnails are really small. If you took 10 pics of an moving object and want to see which one turned out best, you want to scroll through them in full size. The star was great, you set it, scroll on.
So nobody knows?
No need for the attitude
Thought about checking the play store for a different gallery app that has that option?
So finally got it back. There seems to be no solution to this as demonstrated in this thread... but I got my S7 back from repair, and there it is, that little star.
I thought that was a Android feature, but apparently it's a samsung one?
Every image has a little star that you can activate, and later you can filter starred items. Quickest, best and only way to go through 20 Pics of something, and bring it down to the 2 best ones for example.

Moving Pictures from One Album to Another?

Does anyone know how to move pictures from 1 album to another?
Example: I take a pic of my truck and then that pic automatically goes to the album named camera, now I want to move that pic from "Camera" to my album named "My Truck"
The other Note series I could just hold the pic down and then move it or I could select the pic and click menu and select which album I want to move it to.
I appreciate any help I could get.
If you select the pics you want to move and then hit the 3 dot menu it gives you the option to copy or move to another album.
