I have a Japan bought P9 lite. It turns out that the bands I need to connect to lte networks in America is blocked. Is there anyway to unlock them? I have already rooted my phone.

I moved to US recently and bought AT&T sim, problem is i cant get any data in my Note 3 N9005 LTE international. can I install the AT&T firmware 900T to be able to get the data?

No, you will brick your device. The reason you can't get data is because the international LTE is not the same frequency with AT&T frequency. Try switching your data to WCDMA (4G in Europe)
qualcomm 801/805/810 equips a full band LTE baseband, I googled a way to unlock full band for my phone (lg g3, d857) and successfully unlocked band28. So, is it possible to unlock CDMA network? May be qualcomm 801/805/810 also equips a CDMA baseband that locked by manufacture

If i buy S7edge Verizon (Sd820) can i use it in india.Verizon bands are 2'4&13. However i heard that verizon lte phomes are unlocked. Can i use in india lte network(Jio or Airtwl LTE network.
However locking is software thing(firmware), can i install international firmware (935U , not sure) to unlock all lte bands, to use any simin world....

you have to add lte bands by qxdm method or you shouldn't buy the varizon device.

Decided to pull the trigger and do this following a guide on Youtube. I used firmware G935VVRU2APD2 and followed this how-to https://youtu.be/WVzXvMa5FQ4 and everything worked out perfect.

I have an Vns-l23 from latin america and i want to change carrier but it has a 900MHz band and my model only support this bands.
4G: FDD B2(1900MHz)/B4(1700MHz)/B5(850MHz)/B7(2600MHz)/B28(700MHz)
But i've researched and models like vns L21,L22 and L31 support band 8 and i want to know if there is a way to have LTE in this band in my phone, maybe changing ROM or something similar.
I've found methods in google but are only for qualcomm processors and doesn't work.
I'm using Cyanogenmod ROM and i haven't tried if this band is compatible but i want to make sure that it works before i change carrier.
If someone confirm that this band work in CM or know how to make compatible, please solve my dude.

As far as i know, is this a hardware thing and cannot be "unlocked" via software. If the latin american modem does not come with lte 800 support, i think it is imposible to "unlock".

I had asians firmware was-lx2 but i need to use it in Argentina, with other band for 3g and 4g.
So i chanhed firmware to latinoamerican was-lx3.
I supposed it would unlock me the same frequencies that the p10 Lite in latinamerica is using qhen you buy it original, but at the moment (1 day) i think nothing happend.. i do not hace 3g nor 4g.
What do you think?
This website says that the phone has the bands to work on China Unicom, but warns that it still may not work. Is anyone here operatating the US996 in China (Telecom or Unicom)? Thanks!
